A traditional village forests is a product of traditional knowledge to be of great preservation value eco-culturally as important element consisted of rural landscape. It drastically disappears despite resource to maintain value and identity in a rural area and to lead sustainable development, so that the study about its value and utilization is urgently needed. The village forest is the history and culture of the region inherent in that. There are distinctive material and story. So, it could be diversly used as contents to active rural area with tourism, experience, and festival, etc. This research has been written to newly discover values of traditional village forests which people has built to use it culturally unlike natural forest and to actually apply modern utilization. After setting lists to associate data collection with village forest, researchers conducted field survey aimed at two of that. Then interpretation programs related village forest were developed. UCC(User Created Contents) videos for field application the had been made, which propagated in target areas.

This study aims to analyse orally transmitted traditional knowledge of dye and fiber plants utilized in the local communities of Jeollabuk-do, Korea. Data was collected through the participatory rural appraisal (PRA) method involving interviews, informal meetings, open and group discussions, and overt observations with semi-structured questionnaires. Field investigations were conducted through 23 sites from July, 2008 to April, 2010. 49 key informants (17 men and 32 women) were interviewed who have lived over 50 years around the areas of investigation. The average age of the informants was 80 (from 61 to 96 years old). Dye plants were recorded six species, Acer tataricum subsp. ginnala (Maxim.) Wesm., Lithospermum erythrorhizon Siebold & Zucc., Diospyros kaki Thunb., Pueraria lobata (Willd.) Ohwi, Persica riatinctoria H.Gross and Gardenia jasminoides J.Ellis. Fiber plants were recorded three species, Cannabis sativa L., Gossypium ndicum Lam. and Boehmeria nivea (L.) Gaudich.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the meaning, application and utilization of big data for developing in agroindustry through the analysis on the home and abroad cases about the utilization of big data in agroindustry. The practiced cases were investigated by searching on the portal sites using keywords such as agroindustry and big data. As a result, abroad cases of big data are the following as Monsanto's FieldScripts, JohnDeere‘s SeedStar Mobile, DuPont Pioneer’s Pioneer Field360 Select of USA, Phytech software of Israel, Silent herdsman’s Cattle Health Care Management System of Scotland, Integrated Management Control System of EU, Flower Trade System of Netherlands, Fujitsu's Cow Step Counts System, Smartagri System, and FARMS Case of Japan. In home cases are the following as Smart green house, Apple cultivation, Tomato farmers Internet of Things (loT), Strawberry cultivation systems, and Integrated management system of direct transactions in the local food. The case of ubiquitous farm are under the development. Consequently, utilization of big data in agroindustry is to contribute significantly to activate the economy of local economy, as well as the effect of cost reduction for production of agricultural products.

Black raspberry, blueberry, mulberry and black chokeberry are excellent source of natural antioxidant. These berries have the various antioxidant substances such as pigments (anthocyanins), polyphenols, etc. Especially, polyphenols have potential health effects which are the protection of liver and cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, the objectives of this research were to compare the difference in chemical properties and antioxidative effects of the various black fruits. For total antioxidant activity and DPPH radical scavenging activity, samples were prepared to extract using distilled water and 80% ethanol, and freeze-dried. Total antioxidant activities of both of extracts (water and 80% EtOH) were increased depending on the concentration of extracts (250, 500, 750 and 1,000 ug/mL).

담양군 도래수마을의 식물상 조사 분석

The purpose of this study is investigate vegetation to design a community healing garden in Damyang-gun Doraesoo rural village. As the result of vegetation survey, 68 plants was found. They were analyzed in the view of Raunkiaer’s classification of life forms, floristic regional indicator plants, naturalized plants. These analyzed results were integrated and community garden plants were suggested, that composes 19 plants for appreciation, 8 plants for vegetable garden, 5 fruit trees and 16 landscaping plants.
