Improved performance of quantum computer has consistently been researched in mathematics and computer science aspects of quantum algorithms. In addition, quantum processors that make up the operation state of the quantum physics by a number of methodical, have been studied using the electronic engineering. In this paper, we introduce the latest trends related to quantum computing.

Recently, quantum information management, quantum computing and quantum communication based on the quantum mechanics have been researching actively in many fields such as cryptology. Quantum cryptography is one of the most feasible fields using quantum mechanics. Therefore, quantum cryptography has consistently been researched, and a variety of cryptographic exchange method has been developed, such as BB84, etc. In this paper, we introduce quantum communication systems with information theory using privacy amplification.

Brainwave authentication has been researched for over a decade, yet it is not readily available to be used in practical access control systems. In this paper a new duress detection functionality using brainwave is proposed. Existing duress detection methods involve concatenating a duress code to pass a covert message about the situation. Such methods help the user to alert authorities without being distinguished as non-cooperating victim by the attacker. However, they require the victim to remember the duress code in stressful situation. The proposed system detects user stress situation from his brainwave signal collected for login. The method meets the requirements stated in the previous duress detection methods. In addition, unlike previous methods, the user is not required to remember any additional code to alert the authorities about his situation.

In this paper, we attempted in preparing high precision EEG signal measuring equipment. separation amplifier is essential to eliminate common line noise. So, our study were pointed at elevating the efficiency of eliminating noise, user safety and low noise characteristics. And converted data were Fast Fourier Transformed(FFT) with real time DSP (Digital Signal Processing). Steady-State Visually Evoked Potentials (SSVEP) are natural response signal associated with the visual stimuli with specific frequency. By using SSVEP, occipital lobe region is electrically activated as frequency form equivalent to stimuli frequency with bandwidth from 3.5Hz to 75Hz. In this paper, we propose an experimental paradigm for analyzing EEGs based on the properties of SSVEP. At first, an experiment is performed to extract frequency feature of EEGs that is measured from the image-based visual stimuli associated with specific objective with affordance. From the results, we can conclude that the developed active dry-electrode shows comparative performance to traditional Ag/AgCl electrodes. When considering the additional advantages of the developed electrodes, such as the convenience of use and ease of application to EEG measurement the developed electrode shows enormous potential as a replacement for the standard electrode for EEG monitoring in various ambulatory and hospital settings.

Off-grid telecom towers are expected to continue to grow especially in the developing countries. Diesel generators have been typically used as a power source for off-/bad-grid telecom towers as they are more reliable than renewable energies. However, running diesel generators are not economically and environmentally preferable due to high fuel and maintenance costs. In this paper, two hybrid power systems are introduced - one with a vanadium redox flow battery energy storage system (VRFB ESS), and the other with VRFB ESS and PV. Cost analyses were carried out to calculate the benefits of the hybrid power systems. Presented hybrid power systems allow to reduce annual operation cost as high as 60%.
