본 연구는 중국 내 대학교에서 민족무용을 이수하고 있는 한족 무용 전공생을 대상으로, 다문화교육 경험과 문화개방성이 민족무용 지속의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이 과정에서 문화동일시의 매개 역할을 규명하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 구조방정식 모형과 매개효과 분석 절차를 활용하여 변인 간 인과관계를 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 다문화교육 경험과 문화개방성은 모두 문화동일시에 유의미한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 문화동일시는 민족무용 지속의도를 유의하게 예측하는 변수로 확인되었다. 또한 문화동일시는 다문화교육 경험과 민족무용 지속의도, 문화개방성과 민족무용 지속의도 간의 관계에서 부분매개 역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 다문화교육 경험과 문화개방성이 직접적으로 지속의도에 영향을 미치는 동시에, 문화동일시를 통해 그 영향력이 더욱 강화됨을 의미한다. 특히 문화개방성은 문화동일시에 보다 강한 영향을 미치는 핵심 요인으로 확인되어, 학습자의 태도적 특성이 정체성 형성과 행동 의도에 중요한 기반이 됨을 시사한다. 본 연구는 민족무용 교육 맥락에서 학습자의 심리적·정체성적 요인이 지속의도를 설명하는 핵심 변수임을 실증적으로 제시하였으며, 다문화교육 이론과 사회정체성 이론의 적용 가능성을 예술교육 분야로 확장하였다는 점에서 의의를 가진다. 또한 체험 중심의 다문화교육과 문화개방성 함양을 위한 장기적 교육 전략의 필요성을 제안하였다. 그러나 본 연구는 특정 지역과 집단에 한정된 표본, 횡단적 연구 설계, 그리고 지속의도가 실제 행동을 충분히 반영하지 못할가능성 등의 한계를 지닌다.

This study aims to examine the effects of multicultural education experience and cultural openness on the intention to continue ethnic dance among Han Chinese dance majors enrolled in universities in China, with a particular focus on the mediating role of cultural identification. To achieve this, a structural equation model and the mediation analysis procedure to verify the causal relationships among variables. The results indicate that both multicultural education experience and cultural openness have significant positive effects on cultural identification, and that cultural identification significantly predicts the intention to continue ethnic dance. Furthermore, cultural identification was found to partially mediate the relationships between multicultural education experience and intention to continue ethnic dance, as well as between cultural openness and intention to continue ethnic dance. This suggests that while multicultural education experience and cultural openness directly influence intention, their effects are further strengthened through the psychological pathway of cultural identification. In particular, cultural openness emerged as a key antecedent with a stronger influence on cultural identification, highlighting the importance of learners’ attitudinal characteristics in shaping identity formation and behavioral intentions. This study contributes to the literature by empirically demonstrating that psychological and identity-related factors are critical determinants of persistence intention in the context of ethnic dance education. It also extends the applicability of multicultural education theory and social identity theory to the field of arts education. In addition, the findings suggest the need for experiential multicultural education and long-term curricular strategies to foster cultural openness. However, this study has several limitations, including the restriction of the sample to a specific region and group, the use of cross-sectional data, and the possibility that intention may not fully reflect actual behavior.

한국 전통춤과 관련된 현장체험학습은 한국의 역사와 예술 그리고 과거 우리 선조들의 삶을 엿볼 수있으므로 역사와 문화체험으로써 매우 높은 교육적가치를 내포하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 조건부가치평가법(CVM)을 적용하여 공연관람 및 각종 체험학습으로 이루어지는 가상의 한국 전통춤 테마파크를 조성한 후 이곳에서 이루어지는 체험학습 활동의 효용가치를 평가하는데 목적을 두었다. 즉 국내에 거주하는20세 이상의 성인 380명을 대상으로 한국 전통춤 테마파크에 입장할 수 있는 자녀의 1회 입장료에 대하여 지불의사 금액을 추정하였다. CVM 분석을 위한조사문항은 이중양분선택형 조사방식을 채택하였고, 1만원부터 5만원까지 만원단위의 금액을 최초금액으로 제시하였다. 연구결과 1회당 입장료 지불의사금액(WTP)은 15,732원으로 산출되었다. 즉 개인당 약16,000원 정도의 효용가치가 발생한 것으로 나타났다.

Learning from field experience associated with Korean traditional dance is equipped with high educational value in having experience for history and culture as students can look into the history and art of Korea and also the lives of our ancestors in the past. The purpose of this study is to apply the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) and virtually form a Korean traditional dance theme park where people can watch performances and perform all sorts of experiential learning activities and then estimate the effective value of experiential learning activities performed there. With the survey to 380 adults aged 20 or older residing in Korea, this researcher estimated the WTP about the one-time admission fee for children to enter the Korean traditional dance theme park. For the questionnaire to conduct CVM analysis, double-bounded dichotomous choice was adopted, and firstly suggested amounts were from 10,000 won to 50,000 won with 10,000 won as the unit. According to the results, the one-time admission fee (WTP) has been calculated as 15,732 won. In other words, it incurs the effective value of about 16,000 won per individual.
