Quantum information processing using superconducting qubit based on Josephson junction has become one of the most promising candidates for possible realization of a quantum computer. In the heart of the qubit circuits, the superconducting microwave resonator plays a key role in quantum operations and measurements, which enables single- photon level microwave quantum optics. During last decade, the coherence time, or the lifetime of the quantum state, of the superconducting qubit has been dramatically improved. Among several technological innovations, the improvement of superconducting microwave resonator’s quality has been the main driving force in getting the qubit performance almost ready for elementary quantum computing architecture. In this paper, I will briefly review very recent progresses of the superconducting microwave resonators especially aimed for quantum device applications during the last decade. The progresses have been driven by ingenious circuit design, material improvement, and new measurement techniques. Even a rather radical idea of three-dimensional large resonators have been successfully implemented in a qubit circuit. All those efforts contributed to our understanding of the qubit decoherence mechanism and as a result to the improvement of qubit performance.

Quality Factor: 교수연구업적평가를 위한 새로운 계량 지표

본 연구는 교수의 연구업적을 보다 다면적으로 측정하기 위한 합리적 방법을 고안하기 위하여 새로운 논문계량지표인 Quality Factor를 개발하였다. Quality Factor는 총 논문수, 피인용수, h-index, Impact Factor를 이용하여 수치를 도출한다. 새로 개발한 지표인 Quality Factor와 다양한 지표(논문 수, Impact Factor, 피인용수, h-index, g-index)간의 관계를 분석하기 위하여, 본 연구는 국내 문헌정보학과 교수 189명의 14년간(2001- 2014)의 학술논문데이터를 바탕으로 그들의 지표별(논문 수, Impact Factor, 피인용수) 순위를 산출하고 지표들 간에 스피어만 순위상관관계를 도출하였다. 그 결과, Quality Factor는 전체적으로 피인용 수의 영향을 주로 받는 지표(피인용수, h-index, g-index)와 유사한 상관관계를 보였으나, 산점도에서 Quality Factor가 타 지표에 비하여 분산된 분포를 나타내면서 개별식별성이 높은 것으로 드러났으며 군집 분할 분석에서도 타 지표들과 상이한 상관관계를 보여주었다.
This paper introduces a new bibliometric measure called Quality Factor, which assesses multiple facets of faculty research performance. The computation of Quality factor is based on a combination of publication count, citation count, h-index, and Impact Factor. In order to analyze the relationship between Quality Factor and other bibliometric measures (publication count, citation count, h-index, g-index, Impact Factor), the study collected publication data of 189 Korean Library and Information Science professors from 2001 to 2014 to produce the rankings of the faculty by each bibliometric measure and computed Spearman’s rank correlations between the rankings. The overall results showed Quality Factor to be correlated to citation-driven measures (citation count, h-index, g-index), but the scatterplot as well as rank-interval analysis showed Quality Factor to be distinctive and more discriminating than other measures.

In an electro statically actuated nanoelectromechanical system (NEMS) resonator, it is shown that both the resonance frequency and the resonance quality (Q) factor can be manipulated. How much the frequency and quality factor can be tuned by excitation voltage and resistance on a doubly-clamped beam resonator is addressed. A mathematical model for investigating the tuning effects is presented. All results are shown based on the feasible dimension of the nanoresonator and appropriate external driving voltage, yielding up to 20 MHz resonance frequency. Such parameter tuning could prove to be a very convenient scheme to actively control the response of NEMS for a variety of applications.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify influencing factors for sleep quality among shift-working nurses based on a three-factor scoring model that included sleep efficacy, sleep quality and daily dysfunction. Methods: A cross-sectional survey of 513 nurses in a hospital in Shanghai, China, was conducted using a self-reported questionnaire. Sleep quality was measured by the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Data were analyzed based on the three-factor PSQI model: Factor 1, sleep efficacy; Factor 2, sleep quality; Factor 3, daily disturbances. Results: After adjusting for age, marital status, and having children, multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that participants who had previous shift work experience which was at least 6 months ago, or were currently performing shift work were significantly more likely to have poor sleep quality (PSQI > 5) than those who had never done shift work (adjusted odds ratios of 3.943 and 3.975, respectively, both p < .001). Mean scores of the three individual factors increased significantly among nurses currently performing shift work compared with those who had never done shift work (Factor 1, b = 0.61, p < .001; Factor 2, b = 1.86, p < .001; Factor 3, b = 0.45, p = .002). Mean scores of Factor 2 and Factor 3 increased significantly among nurses with previous shift work experience compared with those who had never done shift work (Factor 2, b = 1.15, p = .003; Factor 3, b = 0.52, p = .005). Conclusions: Performing current shift work and performing shift work previously were significantly associated with poor sleep quality. An appropriate arrangement and intervention strategies are needed in Chinese hospitals in order to improve sleep quality among shift-working nurses.

Objective To investigate the general characteristics of video display terminal (VDT) workers with lower extremity pain, to identify the risk factors of work-related lower extremity pain, and to examine the relationship between work stress and health-related quality of life. Methods A questionnaire about the general characteristics of the survey group and the musculoskeletal symptom was used. A questionnaire about job stress used the Korean Occupational Stress Scale and medical outcome study 36-item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36) to assess health-related quality of life. Results There were 1,711 subjects in the lower extremity group and 2,208 subjects in the control group. Age, sex, hobbies, and feeling of loading affected lower extremity pain as determined in a crossover analysis of all variables with and without lower extremity pain. There were no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of job stress and SF-36 values of the pain and control groups. Conclusion Job stress in VDT workers was higher than average, and the quality of life decreased as the stress increased. Factors such as younger age, women, hobbies other than exercise, and feeling of loading influenced lower extremity pain of workers. Further long-term follow-up and supplementary studies are needed to identify risk factors for future lower extremity pain, taking into account ergonomic factors such as worker's posture.

The present study was conducted to test a hypothesis that pork quality traits would be influenced by the systemic and/or local bioavailability of insulin-like growth factor-I(IGF-I), transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1), or epidermal growth factor(EGF) before or at slaughter. To this end, 60 cross-bred female market pigs weighing approximately 110kg were slaughtered, after which Longissimus dorsi muscle(LM) samples taken at slaughter(D 0) and blood samples taken at D -7 and D 0 were analyzed. The 60 carcasses rendered 36 RFN(reddish-pink, firm, and non-exudative), 16 RSE(reddish-pink, soft, and exudative), and 6 PSE (pale, soft, and exudative); 2 DFD(dark, firm, and dry) also were found but were excluded in subsequent experiments. The L* and drip loss were greater in PSE vs. RFN and RSE and in PSE and RSE vs. RFN, respectively, as they should (P<0.05). The pH45min was less in PSE vs. RFN(P<0.05); pH24h tended to be less in the former(P=0.09). The LM IGF-I and TGF-β1 as well as serum EGF concentrations were less in PSE than in RFN. None of the other LM and serum concentrations of the three growth factors differed across the three pork quality categories. The LM IGF-I and TGF-β1 concentrations and serum EGF concentration at D 0 were negatively correlated with drip loss[r=-0.36(P<0.01), -0.44(P<0.01), and -0.32(P<0.05), respectively]. However, none of the serum and LM growth factor variables was correlated with L* or a* (redness) of LM. Taken together, results suggest that locally expressed IGF-I and TGF-β1 and blood-borne EGF may have a beneficial effect on postmortem water holding capacity of the muscle and that pork quality traits could be predicted to some extent from concentrations of IGF-I and TGF-β1 in muscle and EGF in serum at slaughter.

Background: This study was conducted to investigate the potential association of variation in the insulin-like growth factor binding protein 2 (IGFBP2) gene with growth, carcass and meat quality traits in pigs. IGFBP2 is a member of the insulin-like growth factor binding protein family that is involved in regulating growth, and it maps to a region of pig chromosome 15 containing significant quantitative trait loci that affect economically important trait phenotypes. Results: An IGFBP2 polymorphism was identified in the Michigan State University (MSU) Duroc × Pietrain F2 resource population (n = 408), and pigs were genotyped by MspI PCR-RFLP. Subsequently, a Duroc pig population from the National Swine Registry, USA, (n = 326) was genotyped using an Illumina Golden Gate assay. The IGFBP2 genotypic frequencies among the MSU resource population pigs were 3.43, 47.06 and 49.51 % for the AA, AB and BB genotypes, respectively. The genotypic frequencies for the Duroc pigs were 9.82, 47.85, and 42.33 % for the AA, AB and BB genotypes, respectively. Genotype effects (P < 0.05) were found in the MSU resource population for backfat thickness at 10th rib and last rib as determined by ultrasound at 10, 13, 16 and 19 weeks of age, ADG from 10 to 22 weeks of age, and age to reach 105 kg. A genotype effect (P < 0.05) was also found for off test Longissimus muscle area in the Duroc population. Significant effects of IGFBP2 genotype (P < 0.05) were found for drip loss, 24 h postmortem pH, pH decline from 45 min to 24 h postmortem, subjective color score, CIE L* and b*, Warner-Bratzler shear force, and sensory panel scores for juiciness, tenderness, connective tissue and overall tenderness in MSU resource population pigs. Genotype effects (P < 0.05) were found for 45-min pH, CIE L* and color score in the Duroc population. Conclusions: Results of this study revealed associations of the IGFBP2 genotypes with growth, carcass and meat quality traits in pigs. The results indicate IGFBP2 as a potential candidate gene for growth rate, backfat thickness, loin muscle area and some pork quality traits.

Adding dummy metal is essential to secure a stable process for semiconductors. However, the dummy metal affects the RF characteristics so that the required characteristics are not obtained, so a design to prepare for them is required. In particular, the dummy metal around the inductor that determines the RF characteristics is a factor that prevents the characteristics of devices using the inductor. This paper aims to present a stable dummy metal implementation around an inductor that is essential by examining the characteristics of the inductor by analyzing the change of inductance due to the leakage current and parasitic capacity influencing the dummy metal structure. If the previous studies focused on the layer below the layer where the inductor is implemented, this paper analyzed and presented the dummy metal structure around the inductor. In the analysis, it was judged based on the inductance and quality-factor values of the inductor.

본 연구는 결합횡단면시계열 분석방법을 활용하여 사회적 제도적자본이 총요소생산성과 경제성장에 미치는 영향에 대하여 분석하고 있다. 분석기간은 1995년부터 2014년 까지이며, World Values Survey 데이터 중 연속성을 유지하고 있는 49개 국가(단기분 석에는 24개 고소득국가와 25개 중저소득국가, 장기분석에는 12개 고소득국가와 15개 중저소득국가)를 대상으로 하고 있다. 분석결과에 따르면 사회적 제도적 자본이 총요 소생산성 및 경제성장에 미치는 영향은 국가의 소득수준에 따라 다르게 나타났다. 구 체적으로 사회적 자본은 고소득국가의 총요소생산성에는 영향을 주지 않지만 장기적으 로는 경제성장을 촉진하는 것으로 나타났다. 제도적 자본은 경제성장에 직접적으로 영 향을 주면서 동시에 총요소생산성 자극을 통한 경제성장이라는 간접효과도 갖는 것으 로 나타났다. 특히 경제성장에 대한 제도적 자본의 간접적 효과는 고소득국가의 장기 분석에서 더 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 결론적으로 비효율적 제도와 사회적 자본의 미비 상태에서 물적 자본에 대한 투자만으로는 일정 수준 이상의 경제성장을 기대할 수 없 으며, 지속 가능한 성장을 위해서는 사회적, 제도적 자본에 대한 투자가 반드시 병행되 어야 한다.
This study examines whether economic growth is affected by social and institutional quality capital directly or indirectly via total factor productivity (TFP). Based on the fifth-wave data of the World Values Survey conducted during 1995–2014 (2005–2009 for short-run analysis), we adopt a cross-sectional and pooled time series regression framework to investigate the role of social and institutional quality capital on economic growth and TFP changes for 12 high-income and 15 low- and middle-income countries (24 high-income and 25 low- and middle-income countries for the short-run), respectively. The research extrapolates that there are considerable differences in the strength of impact for social and institutional quality capital in the countries with different income levels over different time horizons. Specifically, social capital explicates a positive effect on economic growth only for high-income countries in the long-run. While having both direct and indirect effects, the institutional quality capital affects economic growth indirectly via TFP with a higher magnitude, except for low- and middle-income countries in the long-run, compared to the short-run with regard to other income groups.

스마트 팩토리 품질요인이 스마트 팩토리 고도화 의도에 미치는 영향: 지각된 가치 및 스마트 팩토리 성과의 매개효과

본 연구에서는 국내 스마트 팩토리 도입 기업이 스마트 팩토리 품질(시스템 품질, 정보품질, 서비스 품질)에 대해 지각된 가치 및 성과를 통하여 현 수준보다 개선된 스마트 팩토리의 도입 및 확장 간의 관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 분석결과, 지각된 가치에는 정보품질, 서비스 품질 요인이 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 스마트 팩토리 성과에는 시스템 품질, 정보품질 및 서비스 품질 모두 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 지각된 가치는 스마트 팩토리 성과에, 지각된 가치와 스마트 팩토리 성과는 모두 스마트 팩토리 고도화 의도에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 시스템 품질과 정보품질은 지각된 가치와 스마트 팩토리 성과를 통해 지속가능성에 미치는 관계가 유의하게 나타났으며, 서비스 품질은 지각된 가치를 통해 스마트 팩토리 성과에 미치는 간접효과와 지각된 가치, 그리고 스마트 팩토리 성과를 통해 스마트 팩토리 고도화 의도에 미치는 간접효과 모두 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 본격적으로 스마트 팩토리를 도입하고 있는 기업들을 대상으로 한 스마트 팩토리 품질요인을 기반으로 스마트 팩토리 수준을 고도화할 수 있는 하나의 시사점으로 제시할 수 있다고 본다.
This study examined the impact of smart factory's quality factors on the intention to accept Advance Smart Factory(ASF) by mediating Perceived Value(PV) and Smart Factor Performance(SFP) of domestic SMEs that had introduced smart factor. As a result, First, Information Quality(IQ) and Service Quality(SQ) had a significant positive impact on Perceived Value(PV). Second, System Quality(SysQ), IQ, and SQ had a significant positive impact on SFP. Third, PV had a significant positive impact on intention to ASF, and PV and SFP had a significant positive impact on the intention to accept ASP. Also, PV had a mediating effect between SysQ, IS and Perfromance, and PV and Performance had a moderation between SQ and ASF. These results could provide one implication to SMEs that are taking into account to improve their smart factor to be advanced.
세무정보시스템의 품질요인이 사용자만족과 업무성과에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 세무공무원들의 과세업무수행 시 사용하는 국세청세무정보시스템의 품질요인을 정보의 질, 시스템 질, 서비스 질로 구분하여 이에 따른 사용자 만족이 업무성과에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 부산시와 울산, 경남지역에서 근무하는 세무공무원들을 대상으로 편의추출법을 이용하여 297부를 AMOS 23.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 세무정보시스템의 품질요인 중 시스템 질이 사용자만족에 가장 큰 영향을 미치고 그 다음 서비스 질과 정보의 질 순으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 세무정보시스템품질요인은 시스템을 사용하는 사용자의 만족을 극대화할 수 있는 전략적인 요인으로서 사용자의 만족에 유의미한 영향을 미치며 이러한 사용자만족은 업무성과에 직접적인 선행변수가 된다는 것을 확인하였다.
The purpose of this research is to find the effect of the user's satisfaction according to the quality factor of the National Tax Service tax information system on the business performance of the tax officials. In this research, the quality factor of tax information system was divided into information quality, system quality, and service quality and the importance of the user's satisfaction and business performance was suggested. As the result of analysis, the suggested model showed acceptable data suitability and all of the suggested 4 hypotheses had an statistically meaningful effect. Accordingly, it could be identified that the quality factor of the tax information system had a positive effect on user's satisfaction when the tax officials conduct taxation business and that the tax officials with high satisfaction in using the tax information system showed greater business performance.

본 연구는 이용자 중심의 도서관장애인서비스 품질요인을 실증적으로 고찰하고자 하였다. 품질요인의 실증적인 고찰을 위해 기존 도서관서비스의 품질 측정도구와 장애인서비스 기준 및 지침을 분석하여 총 9개의 품질요인을 도출하였으며, 이 요인을 활용하여 설문조사와 사례의 질적 평가가 이루어졌다. 조사 결과, 공공도서관 장애인서비스에서 가장 핵심적이며, 또한 상대적으로 취약한 품질요인은 시설, 장서, 직원 등 기본적인 도서관 자원의 영역으로 나타났다. 또한 도서관장애인서비스 우수사례를 분석한 결과 독서문화프로그램과 정보서비스 품질요인에 강조를 두고 있음이 조사되었다.
This study intends to review the quality factors of library service for the disabled using user-centered approach. For the empirical review of quality factors, Nine quality factors were drawn after analyzing the current library service quality factors and the standards of library service for the disabled. Using these factors, The survey for identifying importance of factors and the qualitative evaluation of service cases were performed in this study. As a result of this survey, the most critical but relatively weak quality factors were facility, collection and staff factors. And the qualitative evaluation results of service cases indicated that the reading culture program and the information service factors were critical.
온라인자료의 기계적 품질계수 측정을 통한 컨스펙터스운영모형에 관한 연구

본 연구는 기계적 품질계수 개념을 도입하여 온라인자료에 적합한 컨스펙터스 운영모형을 개발하기 위한 것이다. 온라인자료의 주제별 소장율, 이용율, 검색율 등 자료활용행태에 관한 정보를 토대로 주제별 기계적 품질계수를 산출한 후 이를 기존의 컨스펙터스의 주제별 집서수준에 반영하는 방식으로 운영할 것을 제안하였다. 그 결과 이용율이 높은 기술과학과 검색율이 높은 역사와 사회과학 등 주제의 집서수준을 대폭 상향조정하고 여타 주제들은 현행유지 또는 하향조정 되어야 하는 것으로 나타났다.
This study is to develop an operating model of Conspectus for online resources by using mechanistic quality factor. Based on some empirical statistics about resource use behaviour such as collection rate, use rate, search rate, the mechanistic quality factor was calculated and applied to each subject by adjusting its acquisition level of Conspectus. according to the result of this study, Acqusition levels of the subject such as technical science which shows higher in use rate, and those such as history and social science which show higher in search rate, should be adjusted to a higher acquisition level, and those of others to the same or a lower level.
고속도로 콘크리트 포장에 대한 품질평가지수 평가인자의 적정성 검토

고속도로의 확충과 산업발전에 따른 물동량 증가로 인하여 도로 구조물의 내구성 저하와 취약구간의 반복적인 하자가 발생하고 있다. 따라서 국외에서 사용하는 품질보증제도 도입방안에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 국내의 경우 한국도로공사는 점검위주의 품질관리에서 목적물의 품질성능 위주의 품질관리 체계로의 전환을 위하여 목적물의 품질 수준 측정이 가능하도록 정량적 평가 지수인 품질성능지수(QPI : Quality Performance Index)를 개발하여 적용하고 있다. 품질성능지수에서 콘크리트포장 평가인자는 포장두께, 압축강도, 평탄성, 기포간격계수로 구성되어 있다. 콘크리트 평가인자의 경우 국외에서 경험적 판단에 의해 자체적으로 선정된 인자를 사용하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 콘크리트 포장 평가인자를 수명예측 시뮬레이션 및 실측 자료를 활용하여 분석하고 평가인자의 적정성을 검토하였다. QPI의 콘크리트포장 평가인자인 포장두께, 압축강도, 평탄성, 기포간격계수는 포장수명, 공용성 및 내구성을 적절하게 판단할 수 있는 인자로 사료된다.
Traffic volume increases according to highway expansion and industrial development which causes repetitive defect and durability degradation on pavement. The research of quality assurance system used abroad has introduced Korea. Korea Expressway Corporation (KEC) has developed a Quality Performance Index (QPI) that quantitatively assesses the level of quality of the final product, and practical applications. Assessment factor on concrete pavement consisted of pavement thickness, compressive strength, IRI and spacing factor. Assessment factor on concrete pavement is determined by empirical evaluation factor from abroad. In this study, analysis of evaluation factors of concrete pavement by using pavement life prediction simulation and measured data were evaluated with consideration of feasibility of the assessment factor. Pavement life, performance and durability are affected by pavement thickness, compressive strength, IRI and spacing factor in assessment factor on concrete pavement, QPI.

본 연구는 대학도서관의 서비스 질에 영향을 미치는 변인을 파악하고, 도서관 서비스의 구성요소 중 어떤 요인과 요소들이 도서관 서비스에 만족요인으로 작용하고 있는가를 파악하려는 목적으로 수행되었다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서비스에 대한 만족도를 구성하는 요인은, 정보의 접근, 직원자질, 장서의 적절성, 민원처리, 학습시설 및 부대시설, 신속성(적시성), 이용시간, 정보기술이용, 도서관이용교육, 참고봉사, 홍보 및 개인을 위한 서비스 등의 12가지 요인이 추출되었다. 둘째, 고객만족도에 영향을 미치는 서비스 요인은, 장서의 적절성이 일반적인 고객만족도에 가장 크게 영향을 미치고 그 다음으로 민원처리, 정보의 접근, 시설, 신속성, 홍보, 참고봉사, 이용시간, 직원의 자질 등의 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 고객만족도에 영향을 미치는 서비스 요소는, 정보의 상시적인 구득이 일반적인 고객만족도에 가장 크게 영향을 미치고 그 다음으로 도서와 잡지수, 냉난방시설, 도서관의 변화내용 공시, 검색시스템의 용이성, 인터넷이용의 대기시간, 자료실의 개관시간, 장비수리 속도, 민원접수, 비 인쇄자료의 이용장비 등의 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.
The purpose of this study was to measure performance of university libraries, especially investigating the components of service quality and their relationship to the customer satisfaction. The result of the study was summarized as follows: First, the factors on satisfaction of library service revealed 12 factors such as access of information, quality of employees, suitable collections, issues related to civil petitions, equipments and facilities, timeliness, operating hours, use of information technology, library user education, reference service, public relation and individual service. Second, the factors of library service on customer satisfaction showed the following primary factors: suitable collections, issues related to civil petitions, access of information, equipments and facilities, timeliness, public relation, reference service, operating hours, and individual service. Third, the components of library service on customwe satisfaction showed the following primary components: availability, the number of books and journals, facilities of air conditioning, public relation, usefulness of retrieval system, waiting time for Internet use, operating hour, speed of repairs, receipt of civil petitions, use of non-book materials.
요통을 호소하는 VDT 작업자의 위험 요인, 직무 스트레스 및 삶의 질

Objective: To investigate symptom prevalence, risk factor, and relationship between job stress and health-related quality of life in visual display terminal (VDT) workers with low back pain. Method: 5,005 people aged from 28 to 59 without neck or upper extremity pain, were enrolled and their general characteristics, working period, personal history like smoking, drinking, type of leisure and average housework time were collected via a questionnaire survey. The job stress and the health-related quality of life were measured by using the Korean Occupational Stress Scale (KOSS) and the Korean Short Form Health Survey-36 (KSF-36) respectively. The relationship between general characteristics, working period, personal history, KOSS score, and KSF-36 score were statistically analyzed. Results: The average age of questionnaire respondents was 43.4 years old. Twenty-seven and ninety-one (2,791) VDT workers responded to have experienced low back pain in past 1 year. The symptom prevalence was 58.2%. The KOSS score of all VDT workers was higher than reference range. There were moderate negative correlations between KOSS score and subscale score of KSF-36 like vitality, mental health, and mental component summary in all groups. In a multivariate analysis of all subjects, younger age, female, type of leisure except sports activity, and feeling of body loading were independently associated with low back pain of VDT workers. Conclusion: This study provides the basic data about the relationship between job stress and health-related quality of life of VDT workers as well as risk factors of low back pain in VDT workers.
