Online travel communities are virtual social communities where community members seek information about travel-related products and share their knowledge related to destinations. This study investigated the effect of trust (honesty, benevolence and competence) on the quality of knowledge and examined whether or not the quality of knowledge influence knowledge contribution intention of members in online travel community. The conceptual model was designed based on the previous literature and tested empirically. For the empirical test, survey was conducted in Busan, Korea, and 371 responses were collected from the members of online travel community. The data collected were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS statistical program. The results revealed that honesty, benevolence, and competence have a positive impact on the quality of knowledge in online travel community. The quality of knowledge also have a positive influence on the knowledge contribution intention. In this study, practical and academic implications were given based on these findings.

최근 정보기술의 발달과 함께 정보시스템을 활용한 지식공유가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 이와 함께 민 간에서뿐 아니라 군에서도 지식정보공유 중요성이 부각되고 있으며 다양한 형태의 시스템을 구축하여 활용하도록 장려하고 있다. 특히 국방부에서는 ‘이지 샘’이라는 지식관리시스템을 구축하여 조직구성원의 지식공유와 활용에 기여하고자 하고 있다. 하지만 ‘이지샘’이 지식을 공유하고 활용함으로써 업무에 도 움이 되는 정보시스템으로 인식되고 있음에도 불구 하고, ‘이지샘’ 사용의 활성화 정도는 제한적이며 국 방 지식관리시스템의 사용 활성화를 위한 체계적인 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 ‘이지샘’에 지식을 제공하려는 조직구성원의 의도에 영향을 주는 요인 을 연구할 필요성을 느꼈다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 행 위의 동기·기회·능력이론을 바탕으로 국방 지식관리 시스템에 지식을 제공하려는 의도에 영향을 주는 요 인으로 ‘돕는 즐거움’, ‘보상기대일치’와 ‘자발성’(동 기요인), ‘시스템 접근성’(기회요인), ‘자기전문가인 식’과 ‘해당분야 근무기간’(능력요인)을 적용하여 연 구모형과 가설을 제시하였다. 설문분석 결과, ‘돕는 즐거움’과 ‘보상기대일치’(동기요인), ‘시스템 접근성’ (기회요인), ‘자기전문가인식’(능력요인)은 '이지샘'에 지식제공의도에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 밝혀 졌다. 하지만 ‘해당분야 근무기간’과 ‘자발성’은 지식 제공의도에 유의미한 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이론적으로 본 연구는 국방 지식관리시스템 상에서 사용자의 지식제공의도에 영향을 주는 요인들을 도 출하였으며, 실무적으로는 국방 지식관리시스템 사용 을 활성화하기 위해 관리자와 국방시스템 설계자가 관심을 가져야 할 요인들을 제시하였다는 의의가 있다.

오픈소스 소프트웨어는 그 자체의 혁신성으로 인해 차별화되며, 혁신성의 원천은 기술적인 문제를 공유하여 함께 해결하는 것에서 비롯된다. 본 연구에서는 오픈소스 개발자들의 자발적 참여와 협력이 지속적인 참여에 미치는 영향을 분석하였고, 이러한 상관관계를 조직시민행동이론과 사회적 자본 이론을 결합하여 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 Bolino et al.(2002)의 조직시민행동과 사회적 자본의 연관성 연구, Wasko and Faraj(2005)의 사회적 자본과 지식기여의 연관성 연구를 토대로 연구모형 및 연구가설을 설정하였다. 오픈소스 개발자 152명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하고, 구조방정식을 통하여 가설을 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 조직시민행동의 충성, 사회적 참여, 변화주도적 참여가 사회적 자본을 축적하는 것으로 나타났고, 사회적 자본의 상호호혜성과 공유 비전은 지속적 지식기여 의도를 강화하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 사회적 참여와 공유 비전, 응집성과 지속적 지식기여 의도 간의 관계는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

The major characteristic of open source software (OSS) is innovativeness. Innovativeness stems from the process of sharing and solving technical problems. This study analyzes the impact of voluntary participation and collaboration of OSS developers on sustained participation in the community based on organizational citizenship behavior and social capital theories. Based on Bolino et al. (2002) and Wasko and Faraj (2005), a research model and hypotheses are developed. A total of 152 OSS developers participated in the survey. The hypotheses are tested by LISREL modeling. The results of analysis show that royalty, social participation, and advocacy participation enhance or positively influence social capital. In addition, reciprocity and shared vision reinforce intention of sustained knowledge contribution. However, the result shows a statistically insignificant relationship between social participation and shared vision and between cohesiveness and intention of sustained knowledge contribution.

Based on the core value of the Q&A community, the contribution of knowledge and information has a great impact on users' community evaluation. As a small social group, the relationships and interactions among community members are quickly formed through information technology. As such, the cognitive evaluation of the relationship between community members will have an impact on the intention of information contribution. This research builds on the previous research based on the social exchange theory and establishes a dual model of swift guanxi in examining the relationship between guanxi and continuous knowledge contribution. In the current study, 305 survey questionnaires were used and 249 valid questionnaires were used for analysis. The analysis results are as follows: First, information support has a positive impact on dedication-based swift guanxi. While hypothesis between information support and constraint-based swift guanxi was not be supported. Second, emotional support has a positive impact on the formation of swift guanxi from a dual perspective. Third, the swift guanxi from the dual perspective has a positive impact on the intention of continuous knowledge contribution. Finally, although personal involvement has an adjustment effect, it is a downward adjustment effect, hypotheses are not supported. The current study offers theoretical and practical implications in field of knowledge management, specifically knowledge contribution in the virtual community.
