Comparative Study of Tritium Analysis Method with High-Volume Counting Vial KCI 등재 SCOPUS

Background: Tritium (3H) analysis in groundwater was difficult because of its low activity. Therefore, the electrolytic enrichment method was used. To improve the detection limit and for performing simple analysis, a high-volume counting vial with the available liquid scintillation counter (LSC) was investigated. Further, it was compared with a conventional 20-mL counting vial. Materials and Methods: The LSC with the electrolytic enrichment method was used 3H analysis in groundwater. A high-volume 145-mL counting vial was compared with a conventional 20-mL counting vial to determine the counting characteristics of different LSCs. Results and Discussion: When a Quantulus LSC was used, the counting window between channels 35 and 250 was used. The background count was approximately 1.86 cpm, and the counting efficiency increased from 8% to 40% depending on the mixing ratio of the volume of sample and cocktail solution. For LSC-LB7, the optimum counting window was between 1 and 4.9 keV, which was selected by the factory (Hitachi Aloka Medical Ltd. , Japan) by considering quenching using a standard external gamma source. The background count of LSC-LB7 was approximately 3.60 ± 0.29 cpm when the 145-mL vial was used and 2.22 ± 0.17 cpm when the 20-mL vial was used. The minimum detectable activity (MDA) of the 20-mL vial was greater for LSC-LB7 than for Quantulus. The MDA with the 145-mL vial was improved to 0.3 Bq/L when compared with the value of 1.6 Bq/L for the 20-mL vial. Conclusion: The counting efficiency when using the 145-mL vial was 27%, whereas it was 18% when using the 20-mL vial. This difference can be attributed to the vial volume. The figure of merit (FOM) of the 145-mL vial was four times greater than that of the 20-mL vial because the volume of the former vial is approximately seven times greater than that of the latter. Further, the MDA for 3H decreased from 1.6 to 0.3 Bq/L. The counting efficiency and FOM of LSC-LB7 was slightly less than those of Quantulus when the 20-mL vial was used. The background counting rate of the Quantulus was lower than that of the LSC-LB7.

A comparative study on the reliability and validity of body composition results by impedance method measurement device SCOPUS KCI 등재

The purpose of this study was to analyze the reliability and validity of the body composition results for each impedance device and use them as primary data for body composition research. Total of 58 participants, including 24 men and 34 women, were recruited. The correlation was analyzed by measuring two repetitive measurements for each device. Dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) equipment was used as ref-erence equipment for body composition research. All data were ana-lyzed as IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 25.0, and the validity and reliability were estimated by calculating the timely correlation coefficient. As a result of the study, repeated measurements of the measuring instru-ment showed high reliability by gender and age, especially in the child age group, with relatively higher reliability than those in their 50s or old-er. In the validity analysis between DEXA, in the case of the male group, the validity of the fat mass amount was relatively higher than the body fat amount and body fat rate. In the case of the women’s group, the va-lidity of the body fat amount and body fat rate was relatively higher than that of the fat mass amount. The company B had the highest validity for body fat rate and body fat amount in both men and women. However, the validity for men’s fat mass amount was the lowest. In subsequent studies, it is believed that studies that have expanded the population further and studies targeting special groups such as athletes should be conducted.

In this paper, we propose a PTQ (Post Training Quantization) static with QO (Quantization Only) technique to efficiently deploy and execute deep learning models. A comparative performance evaluation of PTQ static with QDQ (Quantize and DeQuantize) and the proposed quantization method was conducted using the MNIST (Modified National Institute of Standards and Technology database) dataset and 8- bit quantization. Experimental results indicate that the PTQ static with QO method reduces the size of the model by approximately 33%, increases the inference speed by 1.5 times, and minimizes the accuracy loss, similar to the PTQ static with QDQ method. The proposed PTQ static with QO method offers a significant technical enhancement to facilitate the efficient deployment and execution of AI (Artificial Intelligence) models through the quantization of deep learning models. We have shown that the PTQ static with QO method is a beneficial and efficient approach to decrease the size and computation of deep learning models. This study makes novel contributions to the quantization of deep learning models. The practical potential of the PTQ static with QO method lies in its ability to be more suitably deployed for the purposes of AI hardware.

디지털 영상콘텐츠 분야에서의 원소스 멀티유스(One-Source Multi-Use) 전략은 하나의 소재(onesource)로 다양한 상품(multi-use)을 개발, 배급할 경우 시장에서의 시너지효과가 크다는 판단에 의해 서로 다른 장르에 적용하여 파급효과를 노리는 마케팅관점에서 중시된 이론으로 알려져 있다. 최근 문화산업재의 온라인화 및 디지털 콘텐츠화가 급진전되고 각 장르간 경계가 모호해지고 매체간 이동이 용이해짐에 따라 이 전략은 창구효과(Window Effect)가 큰 문화산업의 특성에 맞추어 기획 단계부터 영화 게임 애니메이션 캐릭터 등을 총 망라하는 문화 콘텐츠를 개발뿐만 아니라 플랫폼 재활용측면에서 소프트웨어엔지니어링 분야까지 확장되고 있는 추세이다. 특히 하나의 인기 소재만 있으면 추가적 비용부담을 최소화하면서 다른 상품으로 전환해 높은 부가가치를 얻을 수 있다는 점에서 각광받고 있으며, 관련 상품과 매체를 체계적으로 관리할 수 있어 마케팅 및 홍보 플랫폼 제작 등에서 제작비용 절감효과를 누릴 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 세계적으로 영상콘텐츠산업 비중이 높은 한 미 일 3국의 제작방식의 비교를 통하여 각국이 선호하는 장르 및 제작방식을 고찰하고자 한다.
The basic strategy of OSMU(One-source Multi-use) in digital image is a marketing that applying one source to other genres for leverage based on that cross-referencing in different genre enabled that one material(one-source) has synergy effect when reproduced to various products(multi-use) as cultural sources are available through on-line and digital format. Recently, according to the characteristics of culture industry with Window Effect, many culture contents such as movies, games, animations and characters are carefully planned at its design stage to get the maximum effect. Especially, the fact that one leading-trend source makes it easier to produce additional products with the least cost is observed and it enables organized management which resulted in low marketing and PR cost. This paper confirmed that OSMU strategy in Korea mainly get started from online to offline comparing to Japan and USA.
여름철 UAV 기반 LiDAR, SfM을 이용한 하천 DTM 생성 기법 비교 분석

Gaining an accurate 3D stream geometry has become feasible with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), which is crucial for better understanding stream hydrodynamic processes. The objective of this study was to investigate series of filters to remove stream vegetation and propose the best method for generating Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) using UAV-based point clouds. A stream reach approximately 500 m of the Bokha stream in Icheon city was selected as the study area. Point clouds were obtained in August 1st, 2023, using Phantom 4 multispectral and Zenmuse L1 for Structure from Motion (SfM) and Light Detection And Ranging (LiDAR) respectively. Three vegetation filters, two morphological filters, and six composite filters which combined vegetation and morphological filters were applied in this study. The Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) were used to assess each filters comparing with the two cross-sections measured by leveling survey. The vegetation filters performed better in SfM, especially for short vegetation areas, while the morphological filters demonstrated superior performance on LiDAR, particularly for taller vegetation areas. Overall, the composite filters combining advantages of two types of filters performed better than single filter application. The best method was the combination of Progressive TIN (PTIN) and Color Indicies of Vegetation Extraction (CIVE) for SfM, showing the smallest MAE of 0.169 m. The proposed method in this study can be utilized for constructing DTMs of stream and thus contribute to improving the accuracy of stream hydrodynamic simulations.

Health at infancy and early childhood is considered an important factor for healthy life thereafter. Concept of nursing is inclusive not only of physical care but also psycho-social aspect in order to help achieve maximum state of wellness. Statistical studies reveal concept and structure of family and home tends to change towards nuclear type, ratio of female occupancy tends to increase. These tendencies will influence the method of infants and children. Purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of mothers and their children with and without occupation, method of nurturing and analyse data according to various variables, in arnder to give data for care for infants and children. During the period of June 12 though July 22, 1973, 98 mothers and their 224 children; 53 mothers with occupation with 110 children and 45 mothers without occupation with 114 children were Interviewed indirectly through check list. Results of the studies are as follows: 1. Hypothesis 1 ; Tendencies of finger sucking will be greater in children of occupant mothers due to lack of maternal love. Through chi-square examination significant difference is revealed by P>0.05 level, therefore Hypothesis 1 is rejected. (X²=0.24) 3. Hypothesis 2; of occupant mothers tend to have had wanted number of children through family planning. Ratio of wanted versus unwanted children were tested and significant difference is revealed by P<0.05 1eve1. Hypothesis 2 is supported. (X²=8.398). 3. Hypothesis 3: Non-occupant mothers tend to cuddle more while feeding infants. Significant difference Is revealed through Chi-square test by P〈0.05 level. Hypothesis 3 is rejected. (X²=4.34) Conclusion and recommendations: Occupant mothers' higher degree of interest and consideration compared to that of non-occupant mothers in regard to nurturing of their children have been ascertained by this study. These results fight have come up due to the differences of socioeconomic and cultural status of respondents. Further studies on each variable between mothers with and without occupation with similar socio-economic and cultural background are recommended.

This study on stress and coping method of psychiatric patients and non-psychiatric peoples was applied to people who was divided into two groups from Sep. 25 to Oct. 3, 1978, One is hospitalized patients in psychiatric wards of four hospitals in Seoul. The other is inhibitants in two Dongs of Seoul, This study purposed to the identification of the difference of stressful events’numbers, the severity of stress, and difference of coping methods between psychiatric patients and non-psychiatric peoples. Two instruments are used in this study. The first one to measure stress, is Holmes & Rahe (1967)'s SRRQ (Social Readjustment Rating Questionnaire), which is amended, added or omitted through preliminary test, so that it consists of 48 items. The second one is for evaluating coping method on stress. It consists of 34 items amended through preliminary test after consideration of related literature review and survey on the basis of J.M.Bell (1977)'s“ 18-item-Questionnaire”. The materials were analyzed by S.P.S.S. Program. The results of analysis are as follows: 1. There was no significant difference in stressful event's numbers between psychiatric patients and non-psychiatric peoples (P > 0.5). 2. Psychiatric patients had higher severity of stress than non-psychiatric peoples (P < 0.5). 3. Psychiatric patients took more short-term coping methods than non-psychiatric peoples (p < 0.5).

An increasing pattern of extreme rainfall recently affected the rural infrastructures with catastrophic damage, especially the overtopping of a fill dam embankment in the Republic of Korea. The overtopping was caused by the sudden increase in reservoir water level over the dam crest level, and it was not easy work to predict a priori because of its non-linear behavior. Fuzzy time series (FTS) is a fuzzy-logic inference procedure and is suited to apply to non-linear prediction methods such as machine learning. This study used the Wangshin reservoir and Goesan-dam cases, which experienced overtopping in 2023 and 2022, respectively. Wangshin Reservoir was a typical agricultural fill dam and needed to stack more available data, with only the daily storage rate (water level) of 7 years, starting on 2 May 2016. Therefore, we used Goesan-dam data to select appropriate variables and compare the analysis result, which was stacked with about 17 years of records. The analyses adapted LSTM to compare with FTS. As a result, the reservoir water level was applied to predict the overtopping water level, and it was shown that the FTS method could predict the actual water levels effectively according to the result of comparison with LSTM. Then, the FTS method was expected to predict reservoir water level a priori to make appropriate countermeasures on overtopping events as one of the alternatives.
대학병원과 개인병원 신장실 간호사의 스트레스 및 대처방법 비교

Purpose: The purposes of this study are to examine and to compare factors causing stress and coping methods between nephrology nurses working in the Hospitals of University and the Hemodialysis Clinics. Method: Data were collected by a direct survey method using a questionnaire from August 13 to August 31, 2001. The sample of 137 nephrology nurses in the twenty-one Hospitals of University and 168 nephrology nurses in the twenty-six Hemodialysis Clinics were selected for a total sample of 305 nurses. Result: Stress according to general characteristics showed a significant difference in religion and in the level of satisfaction for their work. Stress score was the highest in the nurses whose religion was Buddhism(F=4.846, P=0.008) and in the group with 'dissatisfied' for the work in the Hemodialysis unit(F=3.193, P=0.014). The results analyzed coping method according to the general characteristics had a significant difference only in religion(F=16.237, P=0.000). The score for the coping method was the highest in Buddism. The score compared the satisfaction level for their work according to the hospital type, were 3.55 in the Hospital of University group and 3.35 in the Hemodialysis clinic group and these two values were significant different(p<0.05). The mean score of the stress nephrology nurses in the Hospitals of University is 2.79 and that of the stress nephrology nurses in the Hemodialysis clinics is 2.78 of 4 point scale. Among the factors causing stress, items related nursing work and conflict in nurse-patient relationship significantly caused more stress to the nephrology nurses in the Hospitals of University than to those in the Hemodialysis clinics(p<0.05). Conclusion: This study suggests that there were some differences in the stress and coping methods between nephrology nurses in the hospitals of University and the Hemodialysis clinics. Further study related to stress management program is needed to decrease stress and use effective coping methods.

Pile load test is good for estimating pile bearing capacity, but using this method is limited by time and cost required. Dynamic and static method is more convenient and economical, but confidence of estimated value by dynamic and static method are lower than that of pile load test. After being compared pile bearing capacity data obtained from pile load test with those of other two methods, the results from this study were summarised as follows. For allowable bearing capacity values greater than 175t per pile, bearing capacity acquired from static method was higher than that acquired from pile load test, whereas bearing capacity acquired from pile load test was higher than that acquired from static method for values under 175 per pile. It was that variance of bearing capacity was large when bearing capacity obtained by dynamic method was higher than 250t. Also bearing capacity based on dynamic method was higher than that based on pile load test. Allowable bearing capacity get from dynamic method suggested that carefull precautions are necessary in application for allowable bearing capacity values higher than 2S0ton per pile.
Level I 신뢰성 기반 설계법에 의해 산정된 혼성제 케이슨 단면의 비교 분석

혼성제 직립 케이슨의 활동에 대한 부분안전계수 산정과 Level I 신뢰성 기반 설계법에 의한 단면 결정 과정을 자세히 제시하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 형식의 일치성과 실무에서의 적용 편이성을 위하여 부력 및 자중과 직접적으로 관련된 수위 및 케이슨을 구성하는 재료의 불확실성을 고려할 수 있는 수학적 모형을 제시하였다. 또한 양압력에 대한 영향을 정확히 고려하여 활동에 대해 안정한 혼성제 직립 케이슨 단면을 산정할 수 있는 설계기준식을 유도하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 부분안전계수를 가지고 Level I 신뢰성 기반 설계법에 의해 산정된 단면이 동일한 목표파괴확률에 대한 Level II AFDA의 결과 및 Level III MCS의 결과와 매우 잘 일치하였다. 그러나 미국 및 일본의 항만 설계기준에서 제시한 부분안전계수를 이용한 결과는 그 보다 훨씬 크거나 작은 단면을 산정하고 있다. 마지막으로 부분안전계수의 목표수준과 Level I 신뢰성 기반 설계법으로 결정된 단면의 안정성 수준에 대한 일치성 여부를 확인하기 위한 다각적인 신뢰성 재해석이 수행되었다.
A methodology has been presented for evaluating the partial safety factors on the sliding failure mode of vertical caissons of composite breakwaters and for determining the cross sections of those by Level I reliability-based design method. Especially, a mathematical model has been suggested for the sake of a consistency of code format as well as convenience of application in practical design, for which the uncertainties associated with buoyancy and its own weight can be taken into account straightforwardly. Furthermore, design criteria equation has been derived by considering accurately the effect of uplift pressure, so that the cross sections of caissons can be assessed which must be safe against the sliding failure. It has been found that cross sections estimated from partial safety factors proposed in this paper are in very good agreement with the results of Level II AFDA and Level III MCS under the same target probability of failure. However, partial safety factors of the Technical Standards and Commentaries for Port and Harbour Facilities in Japan and Coastal Engineering Manual in USA tend to estimate much bigger or smaller cross sections in comparison to the present results. Finally, many reliability re-analyses have been performed in order to conform whether the stability level of cross section estimated by Level I reliability-based design method is satisfied with the target probability of failure of partial safety factors or not.

We provide a set of information on technologies to draw meaningful action plans for the internationalization on National R&D activities. In this study, we employed a modiffed Delphi method to evaluate levels of our technological capabilities and developed countries as well. We investigated technology acquis- tion methodologies, technology characteristics and various aspects of international cooperation in terms of technology. Then, we analyzed final responses of participants (i.e., the third round results of Delphe method) to see the correlation among various factors in developing technologies through international R&D cooperation. The technology classification used in this research was developed by STEPI (Science and Technology Policy Institute). In conclusion, levels of our technologies were investigated to be between the stage of imi- tating/absorbing advanced thechnologies and the stage of digesting acquired technologies. Especially, com- paring with other technologies, mechanical engineering was evaluated to be almost near the stage of digesting acquired technology(the middle level stage of technology). Our overal technological capabilities were evaluated to be 40 .approx. 60% of top level countries.

본 연구의 목적은 방송연구에서 지역성 동향을 살펴보는 데 있다. 지역성 연구의 목 적, 주제, 방법, 그리고 대상 등을 제시한 후 지역성 연구의 활성화 방안을 중심으로 고 찰했다. 분석대상은 2010년부터 2021년 말까지 한국연구재단(KCI) 등재 학술지에 게재 된 107편의 학술논문이다. 연구 결과, 지역성 연구의 연구목적은 대부분 실태분석 연구 였고, 연구주제는 프로그램적 지역성, 지리·공간적 지역성, 상호작용적 지역성 연구 순 이었다. 연구방법은 질적연구가 양적연구를 다소 앞서고 있었고, 연구대상은 지역지상 파방송에 편중된 가운데 케이블TV와 지역라디오 연구는 상대적으로 부족했다. 이를 통 해 지역성 연구가 정책 수립자나 방송 실무에 도움을 주는 정보제공을 목적으로 다양한 연구주제와 대상, 방법론적 강화가 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 방송의 지역성 강화를 위해 서는 광역화 시도, 뉴미디어 플랫폼 진출 기반 조성, 지역채널의 기능과 역할 확대, 방송사와 지역공동체와의 파트너십, 지역사회 공유자원의 활용, 콘텐츠 제작을 통한 지역 성 강화, 자체 제작역량 강화, 보도 저널리즘의 실현 등의 노력은 물론 이를 위한 정책의 개선과 보완이 이뤄져야 한다. 본 연구는 방송의 탈공간적 환경변화와 불확실성의 시대에서 지역성 개념을 정리하여 방송학 분야에 접목했다는 데에 연구의 의미와 가치가 있다.
The purpose of this study is to explore localism trends in broadcasting research. After presenting the purpose, subject, method, and object of localism studies, it considered focusing on the revitalization plan of localism studies. The analysis target is 107 academic papers published in Korea Research Foundation (KCI)-registered journals in 2010-2021. The results of the study show that most of the research objectives in the localism studies were actual condition analysis studies and the research topics were in the order of programmatic localism, geo-spatial localism, and interactive localism studies; meanwhile, the research subjects focused on local terrestrial broadcasting, cable TV, and local radio research were relatively insufficient. Through this, it was found that localism research needs to strengthen various research topics, targets, and methodologies to provide information that can help policymakers or broadcasting practices. To strengthen the localism of broadcasting, policies should be improved and supplemented and there should be efforts such as wide-area attempts, foundations for entering new media platforms, expansion of the functions and roles of local channels, partnerships with local communities, use of community-sharing resources, and content production. This study is meaningful and valuable in that it summarized the concept of localism in the era of post-spatial environmental change and uncertainty of broadcasting and applied it to the field of broadcasting.

본 연구는 타 병원 전원 시 발급받는 의료영상이 서로 다른 소프트웨어를 사용하는 경우 PACS상의 영상화질에 영향을 미칠 수도 있다는 점을 착안하였다. A 대학병원 영상을 DICOM 파일로 복사하여 B 대학병원 PACS상에 등록하였고 해당 대학병원에서 사용하는 소프트웨어의 압축에 따른용량과 화질을 SNR, CNR, 히스토그램을 통해 평가하였다. 압축률이 커질수록 SNR, CNR은 떨어졌고, 주목할 점은 No Compression에 비해 Lossless Compression은 용량은 1/2로 줄었지만 SNR, CNR은 변화가 없었다. 히스토그램은 압축률이 높아질수록 언더플로우 현상에 의한 정보손실이 눈에 띄게 나타났다. 타 병원 전원 시 병원마다 다른 시스템을 사용하기 때문에, 압축하여 영상을 등록하면 영상의 화질이 저하되고 정보량이 손실되므로 비압축 또는 무손실 압축방식을 사용해야 한다. 결론적으로 업로드 시 대기시간과 경제적 효율성을 고려하면, 무손실 압축방식 사용이 유용하다.
This study focused on the fact that medical images that are issued at different hospitals may affect image quality on PACS when different software is used. A university hospital image was copied to the DICOM file and registered on the PACS of the university hospital B. The capacity and image quality of the software used in the university hospital were evaluated by SNR, CNR and histogram. As the compression ratio increased, SNR and CNR tended to decrease. Note that Lossless Compression decreased the data size by half compared to No Compression, but SNR and CNR did not change. As a result of the histogram analysis, the information loss due to the underflow phenomenon was conspicuous. When moving to another hospital, No compression or lossless compression method should be used. In conclusion, it is useful to use the lossless compression method, considering waiting time and economic efficiency in uploading.

출토 부분탄화 목제유물은 물성이 다른 부위가 공존하는 것에 의해 박리와 변형이 일어나기 쉬운 것으로 오래전부터 보고되어 왔지만, 실험연구 등을 통한 연구성과는 많지 않았다. 이번 실험에서는 당알코올법과 일반적으로 널리 사용되고 있는 친수성 수지인 Polyethyleneglycol(PEG)법을 비교 대상 처리법으로 설정하였다. 중량변화율과 수축변화율, 전자현미경(SEM)관찰에 의한 목재조직의 변화양상을 검토한 결과 PEG4000법은 80% 이상 농도까지 단계적 함침이 필요하며 Sugar Alcohol(SA)법은 40% 농도 함침에서부터 안정적인 양상을 보여 단기간 함침의 가능성을 나타냈다. 본 연구에 사용한 판상 부분 탄화재의 변형은 주로 미탄화부의 수축에 의한 현상으로 생각되며 PEG4000법의 경우 최종 함침농도가 20%, 40%, 60%에서, SA법은 20% 농도에 함침한 샘플에서 목재세포조직의 수축이 확인되었다.
It is reported that excavated carbonized wooden objects tend to have more peeling and deformation stemming from the coexisting of different types of parts of objects. However, there is little research results on this. In this experiment, the sugar alcohol method was used and then compared with the results of the PEG4000 method which widely uses. This research targets: prediction of strength by weight increase, investigation of the dimensional stabilization effects by measuring the rate of shrinkage change, condition of drug penetration and change of wood texture by using a scanning electron microscope. As the results, the PEG4000 method needs a phased approach over 80% impregnation. On the other hand, the S A method remains steady from over 40% impregnation. The Deformation of carbonized wooden objects used in this experiment is considered as the phenomenon by shrinkage of non-carbonized parts. The PEG4000 method is verified the shrinkage in the samples treated with 20%, 40% and 60%; the S A method is verified the shrinkage in the samples treated with 20%.

The purpose of this study is research actual cases of idol girl groups’ fashion styling by examining fashion image types, make-up designs, and hair styles of ‘2NE1’ shown in music video image screen of ‘Try to Follow Me’. As a result of researching make-ups and fashion images in ‘Try to Follow Me’, the musical feature of 2NE1 is ‘electronic hip-hop’ but costumes in music video show a variety of styles such as ‘retro, mannish, military, punk, and ethnic’ styles avoiding typical hip-hop style. Their make-ups also show various make-up design features using the elements of ‘color, shape, and texture. In particular, individual and strong images are delivered effectively through bold variations (thickness, length, and direction of eyeliner, and slanted eyes’ shape) avoiding typicality of gel & liquid eyeliners. Also, by performing the changes of false eyelashes and hair colors actively, kitschy elements are expressed. In addition, it is indicated that rather than conceptualization of uniformed fashion styling for all members in one music, each member has own and differentiated fashion style, make-up, and hair style according to each voice color and each role in their music.
