A Dual-Reduct Approach to Generate Core Rules

In this paper, we propose a Dual-Reduct method to generate core rules from original data sets for decision making. We rank the rules by rule usefulness after the step of first reduct. Then we take the useful rules as condition attribute and construct another new decision table. After the step of second reduct we generate core rules from the new constructed decision table. In our approach the generation process is straightforward and objective. At the same time, our approach can significantly reduce the number of rules comparing to the traditional generation approach because we adopt rule usefulness as a measure of core rules. We also provide theoretical proofs and deductions. Our approach is proved to be feasible and effective in a production security system.

Study on Mutual Information Medical Image Registration Based on Ant Algorithm

The mutual information has been combined with medical image registration wildly, in order to improve the registration precision and speed of medical image, the application of ant algorithm on it is studied in depth. Firstly, the basic conception of mutual information is analyzed; secondly, the basic procedure of medical image registration is discussed; thirdly, the basic idea of ant algorithm is analyzed, and then the mutual information medical image registration based on FA is designed. Finally, simulation is carried out, and results show that this method can get better medical image registration effect.

Text orientation is one of the most important base work in web semantic calculation. The semantic polarity of words is the basis element of text sentiment. But in traditional word orientation algorithm, each word gets orientation value based on its distance with these words in the standard word list. So the word polarity is always the same value. But in fact, the word may express different polarity in diverse domains. In this paper, word polarity is calculated based on domain standard word list according to its part of speech. The domain standard list is established by search engine result. The experimental result shows that the domain standard word set for word orientation can increase the accuracy rate of comments orientation calculate.

Construction and Application of Effective Path Statistics Network

The Internet has dynamic change nature and the resources limitation that cause the loss of some commands, and thus the failure of group command transmission in the course of transmitting. On account of this, the paper presents Effective Path Statistics Network (EPSN), converting the group command transmission based on the Internet into the one based on EPSN. It describes the definition, construction and working principle of EPSN, and further conducts sampling and analyzing of metrics according to it. Based on the result the paper illustrates modeling and calculating of group command transmission. The experiments show that EPSN can effectively relieve the negative effect caused by the Internet dynamic change nature and the resources limitation.

Classification performance of support vector machine (SVM) will be influenced by its model parameters. For this problem, a new method named magnetic bacteria optimization algorithm (MBOA) that optimizes the parameters of SVM is proposed. It is tested by the UCI standard data sets and compared with the other optimization algorithms, such as particle swarm optimization (PSO). Experimental results show that the MBOA can optimize the parameters of SVM well and has better performance than the compared algorithms.

The development of small and medium-sized enterprises is greatly affected by the entrepreneurs. In recent years; network learning becomes an important way to achieve the advanced competitiveness, which provides rich information and resources for entrepreneurs and staffs. Network learning refers to a study activity through online system; it mainly uses the autonomous learning and consultation learning methods. In comparison with the traditional learning activities, online learning has the following three characteristics: the first is to share the rich network learning resources; the second is the individual learning and collaborative learning; the third is it can break space and time limit. With the universal of building the learning websites, learning resources become more and more abundant in content, quantity, type, distribution, dissemination way and the propagation velocity, etc. It creates a more complicated space of information. Therefore, it is an important problem to establish a scientific, systematic and operable evaluation system, in order to provide support for organization, development and utilization of online learning resources.
