This study was performed to evaluate the germination characteristics of three cultivars of Capsicum annuum L. (Vig: 99.9, Obok, Hong-jinju) by bio-energy insertion qi-card treatment. Germinative energy of cultivar 99.9 increased by 38.6% by the treatment of bio-energy (qi-card) than the control. Similarly, other two cultivars (Obok, Hong-jinju) increased by 44.0% and 18.0% respectively as compared to the control. Mean germination time required for 99.9, Obok, Hong-jinju was reduced by 2.7 days and 1.4 days respectively as compared to control. Germination rate for 99.9 was increased by 2.7% as compared to the control. Similarly, other two cultivars (Obok, Hong-jinju) increased by 0.6% and 3.5% respectively as compared to the control. The result indicate that the bio-energy (qi-card) treatment improved germinative energy, mean germination time, germination rate for the germination of capsicum annuum L.

Needles and syringes may release coating substances and exert shear forces that influence cells. Blood collection tube wall, stopper, stopper lubricants, surfactants and separating gels may contain materials, interact with cellular components, proteins and drugs. Clinical laboratory personnel have to understand potential sources of error and interactions during clinical laboratory testing. To minimize negative effects on clinical laboratory testing, concepts of quality control, proficiency testing and standard operating procedures may be applied and continuously managed.

POCT has the advantage of shortening the turn around time, which may apply to emergency and intensive care unit. But in the respect of medical laboratory testing, precise result should be necessary for optimal medical care. To provide adequate quality, it is necessary to educate end user for POCT and apply to confirmed test of usefulness. The adequate system for quality control and quality assurance must be managed to accomplish quality improvement for POCT.
