본고는 일본고대의 우네메에 대한 노래를 문학적으로 해석하여 그녀들의 은폐된 사정을 밝히고, 말하지 못한 채 죽은 그녀들의 심정을 밝히려고 하는 것이다. 문학에서 본 우네메는 슬프고 가련한 존재이다. 각 지방의 호족들의 딸이나여동생은 야마토 궁중에 불러들이게 되고 나서 일시적인 위안거리로 농락당할수도 있는 가장 낮은 신분이 되었다. 구니미(國見)에서 천황가가 지방호족의처녀들에게 보였던 국신(國神)이나 무녀(巫女), 그리고 신처(神妻)와 같은 종교적 존경심은 이미 사라지고 그녀들은 그저 왕권에 복종하여 침묵을 지켜야만하는 존재가 되었던 것이다. 그러므로 궁중에 와서 이 사실을 알게 된 우네메들은 치욕(恥辱)과 비탄(悲嘆)을 견디지 못하고 자살한 것으로 볼 수 있다. 왕권을믿고 따라온 그녀들의 심정(心情)이 유린(蹂躪)되었기 때문이다.

This is the study to make clear the meaning of Uneme’s songs which were recorded in the ancient Japanese literature. There are some songs on Uneme but most of them are sad and sorrowful. Some songs to console Uneme’s sorrow are to mourn for dead Uneme by suicide. The songs of Hitomaro Kakinomoto on Unemes are to depart their soul to heaven. In the ancient times of Japan Yamato tribe tried to dominate surrounding areas. They believed that the earth is blessed by the marriage of heavenly gods and native gods that has been lived on Japanese Islands. So emperor of Yamato as the descendant of heavenly gods tried to marry daughters of baronial families in the local areas as the native gods. Becoming big country the emperor of Yamato order baronial families in the local countries to send sister or daughter to the palace in Nara. It is Uneme system. But when Unemes come to palace they knew that they are like hostages. And many Unemes come to suffer. Songs for Unemes are to mourn for the Uneme’s ghost. Songs for Unemes appears the sorrow by the trample upon the heart of virgins who follow the sovereign.

今まで采女の歌を采女の立場に立って文學的に鑑賞したり、解釋した硏究はほとん どない。それは采女の實態がはっきり把握されていなかったり、采女に關する資料が 少ないからだけではなく、人間としての采女の心情にあまり關心が向けられてこな かったからである。采女は地方豪族の娘や妹として地方においては名門出身の身分に あったにもかかわらず、大和の宮中に送られてからは、最低の卑しい立場に陥れられ た。地方の父や兄の政治的運命を担った彼女たちの立場は、逃げようにも逃げること のできない苦しい立場であった。 采女の靈魂を鎭魂しようとする人麻呂の歌からもわかるように采女に關する歌のほ とんどは、采女の死に対する挽歌であり、悲しみと嘆きの歌である。彼女たちが死を 選んだ理由は、宮中に来てから受けた悲痛に耐えられなかったからであり、彼女たち の心情が蹂躪されたからである。大和が王權を掌握してからの地方豪族たちの妹や娘 たちは、もはや国見で見られるような神妻として天皇と神婚儀禮をするような貴重な 存在としては扱われなくなり、宮中での彼女たちは予期しなかったさまざまな苦痛を 受けるようになる。以上のように本稿では「萬葉集」を中心に古代文學に記錄された采女に關する歌を通して今まで顧みられることのなかった采女たちの悲しい事情と心情 を明らかにした。

본고에서는 하쓰요의 불륜사건에 초점을 맞추면서 그와 관련이 있다고 생각되는 일련의 작품을 정신의학에 속하는 현대 심리학로 인해 해석함으로써 하쓰요와 다자이의 관계에서 문제가 되고 있는 심리적 심상(心傷)에 대해서 밝히려는 것이다. 지금까지 다자이의 작품을 통해 다자이의 성격이나 인격(personality)에 대해서 정신의학적으로 분석하거나 정신분석학적으로 분석하는 연구가 있었지만, 하쓰요에 초점을 맞추어 하쓰요와 다자이의 관계에 한해서 현대 심리학적 해석을 적용하고 다자이의 심상(trauma)을 해명하려는 연구는 없었다. 처녀의 순결이 유린되어 인간에 대한 신뢰가 배신당하는 것이 다자이의 작품에 일관되어 있다. 다자이는 어린 시절부터 그가 동경한 처녀가 그를 떠나는 경험을 했다. 이와 같은 처녀의 상실사건은 하쓰요의 실수에 대한 기억과 함께 끊임없이 그를 침습하고 괴롭히고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 그러므로 순결유린과 그로 인한 신뢰의 배신이 다자이의 심상(trauma)이 되어 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 이것이 다자이의 추억 속에 나타나 반복해서 그를 괴롭히고 있는 것으로 볼 수 있다.

This is the study to analyze the sexual insult to virgin that appear in the literature of Dazai. Purity and fall is written in the literature of Dazai repeatedly in all his works. Dazai had sad memory that a girl whom he had loved had left him in his childhood. After that he met one girl in his youth and married her. But he knew that she was not pure. When she committed sexual sin after his marriage he tried to die with her. In this way his life was repeats of suicide. Some alienist pointed out his mental problem, but in this study we analyze Dazai’s mental disorder as trauma. Dazai tried to defend week person from his childhood. And he married Hatzuyo and tried to keep her as his wife. But when she was insulted again Dazai’s trauma appeared. His anxiety, distrust to human, and loneliness comes from his such a sad experiences. We can say that his life should be to recover his hurt mind but his life was still painful. He wrote his painful memory in his last work. it is “disqualification of human”. We can say that insult of the virgin became distrust to human and it became Dazai’s trauma. He searched for purity and trust but his reality was dishonor and betrayal. Dazai’s trust to virgin was chaste but this trust was betrayed by insult. We can say that this kind of experiences made Dazai so sympathetic to woman but trauma made his character and life so miserable.
