Research on the Design of Guidance System of Tongyuan Plaza Based on KNAO Model

As an essential component of public space, the design and functioning of a guidance system play a critical role in improving user experience. This paper aims to facilitate easy understanding of the surrounding environment and efficient completion of specific tasks in public spaces. Additionally, the objective is to develop a digital guidance system that will meet user requirements and increase user satisfaction with their experience. Our goal is to introduce innovative solutions for digital guidance systems, specifically for the interiors of public buildings. Using literature organization and scenario analysis, we collected user needs for the guidance system. We applied the KANO model to classify user needs and expectations into five categories: essential needs, expected needs, undifferentiated needs, reverse needs, and potential needs. We focused on meeting the essential, expected, and potential needs in our product design to improve user experience. Our resulting guidance system design aims to enhance practical application. Based on user research and analysis, the essential needs of users are ranked in the following order: clear typography, recognizable logo design, easy-to-use navigation, and user-friendliness. The guidance system should fulfill the expectation and aesthetic needs of users while also meeting their essential requirements. Prioritizing design practices in accordance with user needs will significantly enhance satisfaction when using the guidance system. Improve the scientific accuracy of guidance system research by reducing designer subjectivity and bias in the decision-making process, ultimately enhancing decision-making precision. Provides an effective solution for guidance system products.

The existing digital signage systems inside the elevators are a lack of tailored contents appropriate to the space and environment inside or outside the elevators. Also, they almost impossible to flexibly respond to various contents disclosure according to the demand of the consumers or the elevator markets. Therefore we design and implement an IoT(Internet of Things)-based smart digital signage system for the safety of elevator passengers.. In order to provide IoT-based information to the smart digital signage within the elevator, we propose an IoT system as a set-top box with gyroscope sensor, acceleration sensor, RFID(Radio-Frequency Identification), fine dust sensor, etc., which processes various data collected by the sensors and provides the elevator passengers with various tailored contents such as elevator driving information, environmental information inside and outside the elevator, and disaster information in addition to simple advertisement information. The proposed IoT system is a set-top box that operates the smart digital signage and has an independent information control processor based on the IoT sensors that do not depend on the elevator control system. For the proposed smart digital signage, it supports an operating system that is independent of the elevator driving service as well as the media service. So the smart signage system has a characteristic that it does not depend on the elevator control system since it is a stand-along IoT-based information control system. With the proposed system providing intuitive content for the surge, steep descent, and radical movements of an elevator due to an emergency situation, the elevator passengers should be able to recognize the situation quickly and respond accordingly. In the near future, the proposed system will expand the market of digital signage applied in conjunction with the development of contents in the disaster, safety and environment fields, and expect expected to revitalize related industries associated with signage.

Signage is one of the most commonly used methods of advertisement. There is no business that does not have a sign. Traditionally, signage is static, in that content of the sign can never be changed. Nowadays, they use liquid-crystal displays and light-emitting diode–based video displays so that digital images, video and even streaming media can be dynamically displayed. While digital signage systems are quickly replacing traditional signage, Internet protocol television (IPTV) systems are also widespread. Components of an IPTV system include a content management system and a broadcast management system, among others. These components of IPTV systems can be used to provide content to digital signage displays as well as IPTV terminals. Therefore, this paper proposes a digital signage system based on an IPTV system.
Design and Implementation of MEARN Stack-based Real-time Digital Signage System

Most of conventional DSS's(Digital Signage Systems) have been built based on LAMP framework. Recent researches have shown that MEAN or MERN stack framework is simpler, more flexible, faster and more suitable for web-based application than LAMP stack framework. In this paper, we propose a design and implementation of MEARN (ME(A+R)N) stack-based real-time digital signage system, MR-DSS, which supports handing real-time tasks like urgent/instant messaging, system status monitoring and so on, efficiently in addition to conventional digital signage CMS service tasks. MR-DSCMS, CMS of MR-DSS, is designed to provide most of its normal services by REST APIs and real-time services like urgent/instant messaging by Socket.IO base under MEARN stack environment. In addition to architecture description of components composing MR-DSS, design and implementation issues are clarified in more detail. Through experimental testing, it is shown that 1) MR-DSS works functionally well, 2) the networking load performance of MR-DSCMS's REST APIs is better compared to a well-known open source Xibo CMS, and 3) real-time messaging via Socket.IO works much faster than REST APIs.
SaaS방식의 맞춤형 서비스가 가능한 디지털 사이니지 시스템 설계 및 구현

본 연구에서는 SaaS(Software as a Service)방식으로 전달되는 소프트웨어를 통해 Multi-platform 디스플레이 장치에 맞춤형 서비스가 가능 할 수 있도록 하였다. 이 시스템은 기존의 디지털 사이니지 시스템에 비해 확장성과 이식성이 뛰어나고 플랫폼이 독립적으로 다양한 환경에서 구축이 가능하여 구축비용, 유지관리 등의 면에서 유리하고 주변 환경에 따라 전력을 관리하므로 유지비용 절감 가능하다. 향후 사람들에게 다양한 경험을 제공하고 재미있는 환경을 제공하는 서비스로 발전하기 위해서는 사용자의 성별, 연령, 위치 등을 인식하고 사용자 맞춤으로 콘텐츠를 보여줄 수 있는 자동 패턴인식기술에 대한 연구와 생동감 있는 콘텐츠 제작을 위해 각종 화상영상처리에 대한 연구도 병행되어야 할 것이다.
This research enables the user to have access to the desired service which is on the multi-platform display device by establishment customized Digital Signage System using the SaaS method. This system is significantly favorable due to the following points: the expandibility and portability is outstanding compared with the existing signage system, establishment expenses may be reduced because the platform can be established in various configurations independently, maintenance and management, and the strong point of the system is that costs can be reduced due to the fact that the electric power can be controlled according to environmental situations. Various researches should be conducted simultaneously such as researches on automatic pattern recognition technologies which recognizes the sex, age, location among other data of the user and various methods of image processing for the production of contents to elaborate lively contents to provide diverse experience and enjoyable configurations for the future generation.
