Performances of urethane packing in the hydraulic breaker were analyzed using a finite element method. Because of high temperature and high pressure in the hydraulic breaker, it is better to use urethane rather than rubber as a packing material. We obtained the physical properties of urethane at elevated temperature by the tensile test. We analyzed buffer seal and U-packing maintaining the pressure and preventing oil leakage. Deformation, stress distribution, contact length, contact pressure of packing at each pressure step were obtained using finite element analysis. As the temperature increases, stress and contact force tend to decrease at low pressure. As the gap between piston and cylinder increases, contact length and contact forces decrease. Consequently, it is possible to design the packing section using these analyses, and construct a system to predict the possibility of oil leakage in the hydraulic breaker.

The purpose of this research was to get the data for environmental hormones nano-analysis on volatile organic compounds and residual solvents in food packing material using from food company located in Gyeongju by using of Gas Chromatography. And also we examine the characteristics, tendency, kinds of type of food packing materials recently, In this research we have analyzed the contents of volatile organic compounds and residual solvents (methanol, acetone, isoprophyl alcohol, toluene, methylethyl-ketone, ethyl acetate) of food packing materials as specific environmental hormones for health in order to recognize be suited to as food packing materials, had assigned two food packing materials placed in Gyeongju. we have got the data were examined that minerals components, micro inorganic materials by Gas Chromatography. The results of this study are as following ; It has been shown that all of them generally were suited to as standard of food packing materials located in Gyeongju. Also some VOCs and residual solvents, that is, nano unit amounts of toluene and five residual solvents were detected by Gas Chromatography, but the rest of them were not detected. On the other hand volatile organic compounds materials were detected two solvents. Finally this study must mentioned as following; food packing materials places in Gyeongju has been relatively not much are compared with other cities, really many people have positive opinion on available of this places because of very closed distance from people's living place and amounts of VOCs quantity are very much to get it. Therefore Gyeongju have concern about food packing materials for the health of citizens on alternatives of food packing materials, it is very clean and safe are good business for life convenience of regional citizens.

A conventional packing ring was designed with a large clearance to prevent damage due to the vibration of the rotor, which can lead to an increase in steam leakage. In this study, a flexible packing ring using winding springs was developed to prevent damage to the rotor teeth by minimizing vibration, while maintaining a smaller clearance than that of conventional rotor designs. Theoretical analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) were used to design the winding spring to satisfy the specified allowable stress limit and minimum load requirements. The shape of the winding spring was designed by applying curves to the center and end parts of a flat spring. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis was used to predict the leakage of the flexible packing ring. Flow rate measurement tests were performed to verify the leakage reduction efficiency and the reliability of the CFD analysis.

Yunnan Puer Tea is the product that best represents the Yunnan region and the nation. Yunnan Puer Tea corporation and package design company began to set store by package design for promoting recognition of Puer tea to consumers, with rapid development of Puer tea over the last three years. This paper utilized market investigation analysis, reference studies and comparison research to study the attributes, history, cultural background and current market situation of Puer tea through modern package design theory. The design and color of ten representative Chinese tea brands, overseas brands, and Yunnan Puer were analyzed. A questionnaire about loyalty to Yunnan Puer and opinion on its popularity, package design, and color was carried out and analyzed. Seven famous brands of Yunnan Puer Tea were included in the study, with a view to betterment of Yunnan Puer'spackage design and colouring. These days, with intense competition in the market for Puer tea, Puer's current package design incorporates unique visual images that communicate a sense of pride and unique brand culture. However, to keep developing Yunnan Puer Tea's package design, the designers should carry out more in-depth research through studying Puer tea's national image. Puer tea's new package model, color, graphics, text, and other such visual elements strive to convey the brand's individuality and global popularity. Now, on the fierce Puer Tea market, tea enterprises have begun to attach importance to communication of the brand'sindividual characteristics and culture through visual images on current package design. The presently-designed box: analsis supports that the current situation of domesticTea's new brands are less prominent than older brands but their packaging is superior in design and likewise in robustness. Tea package coloring has been adapted to have something in common with the old world, and almost all designs are based on primary colors. Yunnan Puer Tea's standard of package design keeps growing. At this level of design, deeper research and study about Puer Tea's ethnic culture, including package coloring, images, modeling, and so on, is needed. Through the new design of these elements, the Puer Teastrives to attain individuality and globality.

普洱茶作为云南极具民族性、地域性的特色产品.随着最近3年普洱茶的产业高速发展,云南的普洱茶企业和包装设计公司,为了提高消费者对普洱茶的认知度,开始重视普洱茶的包装设计.本论文以现代包装设计理论为指导,运用市场调查分析、文献研究和比较研究等方法,分析研究了普洱茶的属性、历史文化背景与普洱茶的市场现状。通过对中国10大名茶的代表品牌,国外的知名品牌,云南普洱茶品牌的包装设计分析和色彩分析.及对云南普洱茶品牌的知名度,忠诚度,包装设计,色彩相关的问卷调查分析,对云南普洱茶的7个品牌在包装设计和色彩上进行比较分析.提出目前云南普洱茶品牌的包装设计的突出问题和包装的设计和色彩的改善建议.在目前混乱的普洱茶品牌市场中,通过普洱茶的现代包装设计,塑造自己独特品牌文化和独特视觉形象是众多普洱茶企业应该重视的问题,根据分析,国内普洱茶品牌现状,虽然新品牌在知名度上不如老品牌,但在包装设计上却优于老品牌,符合当代包装设计水准要求。在茶包装的色彩应用上,全世界具有共识性,几乎都是基于茶叶的原有色进行设计的。云南普洱茶的包装设计水平还处于发展和提高的阶段,设计师应该深入研究、挖掘出能服务于普洱茶包装的民族视觉元素,通过对普洱茶包装中的色彩、图形、包装造型和字体等视觉元素的创新设计,实现普洱茶现代包装设计的品牌化、个性化、国际化。

For precise property control of sintered products, it is important to understand accurately the packing density of the powder. We developed a packing simulation program that could make a packed bed of spherical particles having particle size distribution. In addition, the influence of the particle shape of the actual powder on the packing density was quantitatively analyzed. The predicted packing densities corresponded well to the actual data.

The penalty method has been widely applied to analyses of incompressible fluid flow. However, we have not yet found any prior studies that employed penalty method to analyze compressible fluid flow. In this study, with an eye on the apparent similarity between the slight compressible formulation and the penalty formulation, we have proposed a modified approximate approach that can analyze compressible packing process using the penalty parameter, which is an improvement on an earlier formulation (KSME, 2004B). Based on the assumption of the isothermal flow, a set of reference solutions was obtained to verify the validity of the proposed scheme. Furthermore, we have applied the proposed scheme to the analysis of the packing process of different cases.

알루미나 파우더는 산업용으로 널리 사용되는 소재 중 하나이지만 파우더 패킹 상태에 따라 제품의 강도가 변하는 문제점이 있다. 위 문제해결을 위하여 입자 패킹효율을 높이려는 많은 선행연구들이 수행되었지만, 기존 연구는 밀리미터 스케일의 입자의 충진 특성을 분석한 것이 대부분이므로 마이크로미터 스케일과 물리적 특성이 달라, 그 선행연구 결과를 토대로 마이크로미터 스케일에 적용하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 마이크로미터 스케일의 알루미나 파우더를 이용하여 충진률을 높이기 위하여 통계적방법을 이용하여 3단계 실험을 수행하였다. 먼저, 혼합물시험계획법을 이용하여 충진율이 높은 크기 조합 및 혼합 비율을 선정하였으며, 진동 실험장치에서 가진 주파수 변경에 따른 충진 높이 변화를 분석하여 적정 가진 주파수를 선정하였다. 마지막으로 앞서 언급한 실험 결과값을 토대로 알루미나 파우더 충진율 시험을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 최대 높이 변화량은 충진 크기조합 선정을 위해 수행한 최초의 실험 결과 최댓값보다 42% 향상된 것을 확인하였다.

Alumina powder is one of the widely used materials for industry, but there is a problem that the strength of the product changes depending on the powder packing state. To solve the above problem, previous studies have been conducted to increase the particle packing efficiency, but most of the existing studies analyzed the packing characteristics of millimeter-scale particles, so the physical properties are different from those of the micrometer scale. It is difficult to apply to the micrometer scale. In this paper, a three-step experiment was performed using a statistical method to increase packing using micrometer-scale alumina powder. First, a size combination with high packing and a mixing ratio were selected using the mixture test design method, and an appropriate excitation frequency was selected by analyzing the height change according to the frequency change in the vibration test apparatus. Finally, an alumina powder packing experiment was performed based on the experimental results mentioned above. As a result, it was confirmed that the maximum height variation was 42% higher than the maximum value of the 155 measurements performed when selecting the packing size combination. It is thought that this study will serve as basic data for processing and packing research using fine powder.

An angled labyrinth seal is used for the diaphragm-packing-ring seal design of steam turbine due to its leakage reduction characteristic. CFD analysis using FLUENT has been performed to predict leakage and determine an optimum slanted angle which yields the best leakage reduction. Results show that the optimum value of slanted angle is $-30^{\circ}$ independent of number of labyrinth teeth, inlet pressure, and tooth height to pitch ratio. 3D CFD analysis has been performed for predicting leakage of the angled labyrinth seal. Comparing with the result of 2D CFD analysis, 3D CFD analysis shows 1.4% smaller.

Multi-sized 혼합입자의 충전 분율 해석 및 예측을 위한 소프트웨어 개발

다양한 크기를 가진 다성분 입자의 충전분율을 정확하게 예측할 수 있는 소프트웨어 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이를 위하여 다양한 크기의 염소산암모늄(Ammonium perchlorate, AP)과 알루미늄(Aluminum, Al) 입자와 혼합물에 대한 충전분율 측정실험을 수행하였다. 실험에 의해 얻어진 충전분율은 개발된 프로그램에 의해 예측된 값과 비교하였다. 크기가 다른 2종류 입자의 혼합 충전의 경우 상대오차가 0.25~13.13%, 3종류 입자의 혼합 충전의 경우 0.13~10.01%로 나타나 실험값과 잘 일치하였다. 목표 충전분율을 얻기 위한 각 구성입자의 질량분율 contour를 프로그램을 통하여 구할 수 있으며 이를 통하여 충전시스템을 최적화 할 수 있다.

Software program to predict the packing density of multi-sized and multi-component particulate system was developed. For this purpose, the experiment to measure the packing density of AP (ammonium perchlorate) and Al (aluminum) particles with different sizes and their mixtures was carried out. The packing densities obtained from various experiments were compared with the predicted data from the developed software program. In the case of the packing density of the binary system, which is comprised of two different size particles and/or two different components, the relative errors were ranged 0.25~13.13%, and in the same venue the relative errors of the ternary system were 0.25~13.13%. Agreement between experimental data and the predicted results is reasonably accurate. In order to achieve the targeted packing density, the software program calculated the contour of the component particles and this will contribute the formulation of optimal packing systems.

다변량 분산분석을 이용한 포장 재질에 따른 쌀의 신선도 분석

본 논문에서는 포장 재질에 따라 쌀의 신선도가 어떻게 달라지는지 알아보기 위해 다변량 분산분석을 적용해 보았다. 쌀의 신선도는 쌀의 수분 함량과 식미치로 측정하였다. 포장 재질은 일반 종이와 종이 뒷면에 숯을 코팅한 종이를 비교하였다. 쌀을 보관하는 장소를 블록으로 간주하였다. 쌀의 수분 함량과 식미치를 나타내는 이변량 관측값에 대하여 완전 확률화 블록 설계에 의한 다변량 분산분석을 적용해 본 결과 포장 재질에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 따라서 쌀의 수분 함량과 식미치 각각을 단일변량 관측값으로 간주하고 분산분석을 적용해 보았다. 그 결과 쌀의 수분 함량에 대해서는 포장 재질에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였으나 식미치에 대해서 유의한 차이 관측할 수 없었다.

This paper concerns the freshness of rice depending on packing materials using MANOVA. Freshness of rice is measured in terms of moisture content and rice flavor. Ordinary paper and charcoal-coated paper are compared as packing materials. Storing places are considered as a block. The bivariate observations of moisture content and the rice flavor are compared using MANOVA for a completely randomized block design. It is observed that there is a significant difference between ordinary paper and charcoal-coated paper. Therefore we apply ANOVA for moisture content and rice flavor, respectively. Significant differences are observed for the moisture content but not for the rice flavor.

Airtight containers have been widely used in many industries and household. They need a packing for sealing between the inside and outside. Previous packing materials have some drawbacks like stench, stickiness, and difficulty of applying to automated manufacturing systems. So, a new packing material which is harmless and suitable for automation is needed. This study performed a hot plate welding process of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) as the packing material. The hot plate welding process included a phase change process of solidification and melting. The porosity-enthalpy method was adopted in order to simulate phase change problems. The TPE showed non-Newtonian fluid characteristics during the melting process. Since properties of SEBS are not well-defined, we established TPE properties by observing the melting behavior of TPE. In order to find an optimized condition, a parametric study including packing thickness, shapes, hot plate temperature, and thermal resistance, was conducted.

FPGA를 위한 분석적 배치에서 사전 패킹, 조기 배치 고정 및 밀도 분석 다층화

기존 학계의 FPGA 툴 연구는 단순한 가상 아키텍처 모델 가정에 의존해 왔다. 이러한 제약을 극복하기 위한 첫걸음으로 분석적 배치 및 배치 적법화의 기본 알고리즘들을 상용 FPGA의 아키텍처에 적용하는 실제 상황에서 발생되는 이슈들을 도출하여 대안을 제시한 후 그 효과를 평가하였다. 먼저, 코어 사용률이 낮은 FPGA에서 배치된 셀들의 무게 중심이 칩 중심에서 벗어나는 현상이 발생할 수 있는데 이 변위를 최소화하는 함수를 분석적 배치의 목적 함수에 추가하였다. 또한 배치 밀도 평가의 정확도를 높이기 위해 셀 종류별로 별도의 밀도 행렬을 사용하는 다층 분석, 그리고 자원이 매우 한정된 블록의 조기 고정 방안을 제안하였다. 그밖에, 슬라이스 내에서 두 개의 플립플롭이 제어 핀들을 공유하기 때문에 발생하는 호환성 문제를 개선하기 위한 플립플롭 사전 패킹도 제안하였다. 제안된 기법은 상용 FPGA 아키텍처를 정확하게 모델링하고 수정 개선할 수 있는 K-FPGA 패브릭 평가 툴킷을 근간으로 구현되었으며 12개의 실용 예제에 적용하여 기존 방식에 비해 평균적으로 배선길이 22%, 슬라이스 사용량 5%를 감축하는 효과를 확인하였다. 본 연구는 신규 FPGA 아키텍처 개발을 위한 최적화 CAD 툴 개발 연구의 기초가 될 것으로 기대한다.

Previous academic research on FPGA tools has relied on simple imaginary models for the targeting architecture. As the first step to overcome such restriction, the issues on analytic placement and legalization which are applied to commercial FPGAs have been brought up, and several techniques to remedy them are presented, and evaluated. First of all, the center of gravity of the placed cells may be far displaced from the center of the chip during analytic placement. A function is proposed to be added to the objective function for minimizing this displacement. And then, the density map is expanded into multiple layers to accurately calculate the density distribution for each of the cell types. Early fixation is also proposed for the memory blocks which can be placed at limited sites in small numbers. Since two flip-flops share control pins in a slice, a compatibility constraint is introduced during legalization. Pre-packing compatible flip-flops is proposed as a proactive step. The proposed techniques are implemented on the K-FPGA fabric evaluation framework in which commercial architectures can be precisely modeled, and modified for enhancement, and validated on twelve industrial strength examples. The placement results show that the proposed techniques have reduced the wire length by 22%, and the slice usage by 5% on average. This research is expected to be a development basis of the optimization CAD tools for new as well as the state-of-the-art FPGA architectures.

The stress behavior analysis of a-rings and packing for a LPG filling unit has been presented using a finite element analysis technique by non-linear MSC/MARC program. The sealing performance and endurance of a-rings and packing are affected by working conditions such as filling pressure, friction coefficient, compression ratio, and material properties. The elastomeric polymers of O-rings and packing are nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which are selected as proper materials of a-rings and packing based on the stress analysis results. The calculated FEM results showed that the proper material of O-ring is NBR as a secondary sealing component and the recommended material of packing is PTFE as a primary sealing unit during a LPG filling process.
