In this paper, we propose a new prioritized Optical Burst Switching (OBS) protocol based on a hop count, which can provide an efficient utilization in optical Wireless networks. Under several legacy schemes, a switch drops the burst with a shorter time among ones regardless of its traversed hop counts. As a result, the dropped burst that have been traversed more hops might cause to waste bandwidth than the one traversed a few hops. Noting that this problem, we propose the Just Enough Time (JET) with a hop count scheme which can reduce the wasted bandwidth by prioritizing the burst traversed more hops over others. From the simulation result, we show that the proposed scheme is advantageous over the legacy schemes in terms of the burst blocking probability and the link utilization.

본 논문에서는 모바일 단말기를 통하여 촬영한 영상이미지를 송신하면, 영상데이터가 통신사 서버에 저장되고, 동시에 디지털 멀티미디어 프레임에 저장되는 시스템에 관한 것이다. 이때 디지털 멀티미디어 프레임은 네트워크로 통신사 서버에 가입되어 있어야 하며, 독립적으로 영상을 플레이할 수 있거나 저장할 수 있다. 저장 매체로서 멀티미디어 프레임 자체의 메모리 하드웨어, SD 또는 CF 메모리 스틱장치 및 USB를 이용할 수 있다.

In this paper, we have developed a digital frame multimedia player based on the mobile network server with file sharing. The image data of a photo taken by a mobile phone is stored on the mobile network server of registered mobile communication agency and then is transferred into the digital multimedia frame interconnected with the network sever. With this multimedia frame, one can display or save images. The storage media could be the frame itself, SD, CF memory stick devices or USB.

The salient features of UWB networks such as high-rate communications, low interference with other radio systems, and low power consumption bring many benefits to users, thus enabling several new applications such as wireless universal serial bus (WUSB) for connecting personal computers (PCs) to their peripherals and the consumer-electronics (CE) in people’s living rooms. Because the size of multimedia data frame, WiMedia device must transmit the fragment of MSDU. However, when the fragment of MSDU is lost, WiMedia device maintains active mode for the time to complete the transmission MSDU, and there is a problem that unnecessary power consumption occurs. Therefore we propose new power management scheme to reduce unnecessary power consumption of WiMedia devices in the case that the fragment is lost.

Smart Classroom and Multimedia Network Teaching Platform Application in College Physical Education Teaching

With the development of information technology, multimedia teaching has become the main trend of college teaching. At the same time, cloud computing can dynamically allocate computing resources according to the number of users, as well as the complexity of the application. In this paper, the author analyzes multimedia network teaching platform application in college physical education teaching based on cloud computing. Through the questionnaire survey, the results show that the use rate of multimedia teaching in physical education is 75.6%. And multimedia technology has a positive impact on physical education, especially in teaching concept (47.56%), teaching environment (39.02%), teaching content (50%) and innovative methods (63.41%). In conclusion, modern educational technology has a profound influence on the teachers' teaching, and has a great significance to the whole teaching process.

With the development of computer information technology and multimedia Internet technology, human beings have entered a new era of knowledge and network. Education information construction is an important way for the modernization of education, in this paper, the author research on influence of multimedia network teaching platform and effective interaction on physical education curriculum. For the necessity of multimedia and network assisted instruction, 68.57% teachers think that multimedia teaching is very important, and it is necessary means of physical education teaching. Multimedia network teaching platform can also integrate the latest sports information resources, students can watch all kinds of large-scale sports events by online video.

Various technologies have been explored for distance learning in recent times. Such include correspondence, instructional television, instruction radio, and recently web-based systems. These methods of instructional delivery in distance learning were found to be non-effective. Also contributing to these problems is lack of enough experts in various fields of specialization in Nigeria. In this research paper, A framework of multimedia computer network system for teaching and learning to aid expert instructors in their bid to reach wide audience is proposed. This involves the cable and wireless network design, the communication protocols and the transmission media. The implementation of the framework is done using streaming technology of RealNetworks systems. A website is designed using hypertext markup language (HTML ) for easy access to the online lectures at the remote sites. A prototype is developed in FUTA community with a view to determining the effectiveness of the system.

As new information carrier, multimedia brings significant changes to people's daily work, study and life. In order to promote the development of modern education, multimedia network teaching platform has been widely used to realize the modernization and informationization of education. In this paper, we analyze the how multimedia network teaching platform will influence on physical education teaching. From the results of teaching experiment, students who using network multimedia aided teaching system get more scores than control group, this means that network multimedia aided teaching will help student to master the technical movements. From questionnaire results, the multimedia teaching system improve the students' learning interest, and will cultivate students' ability to discover problems and solve problems. In conclusion, the traditional teaching should be combined with the network multimedia aided teaching, so that to achieve better teaching effect.

Smart Home Education and Teaching Effect of Multimedia Network Teaching Platform in Piano Music Education

Smart home contains all the living functions of the traditional home, and provides a more safe, comfortable and high-tech home space. With the development and popularization of multimedia technology, computer technology has been applied to music classroom, laboratory, music hall, almost all aspects of music teaching and research. In this paper, the author analyzes smart home education and multimedia network teaching platform in piano music education. Multimedia combined with different teaching characteristics, through the modern media as the carrier of the communication channels, then process the formation of vivid images or sounds of music. Along with the digital process of music classroom, computer music workstations, multimedia, distance learning, portable music systems, online interactive music creation, and other technologies are being popularized.

A novel connection admission control (CAC) scheme based on bandwidth throughput evaluation algorithm is studied in multi-priority multimedia network. In the new scheme, bandwidth throughput evaluation algorithm is introduced to obtain the delay threshold of different priority traffic. Through bandwidth throughput evaluation algorithm, the delay threshold result of different traffic class is derived. The admission of different priority traffic was controlled by the delay threshold so as to guarantee network quality of service. Numerical results show that not only the service of high priority traffic or the service of low priority traffic is guaranteed in the new scheme, but also the network utilization is promoted.

In recent years, Multimedia technology has been popularized in higher education. In order to construct the multimedia system design the author study the multi-layer C/S technology and the Joomla framework based on MVC model. By using PHP and MySQL database, Joomla framework can realize the commonly used function in Web system. On the other hand, as English teaching mainly to impart language knowledge, however, the teaching method that cultivates learners' ability has not been paid enough attention. Based on the empirical analysis, the author analyzes the college English teaching mode based on autonomous inquiry; the result shows that 60% teacher use multimedia aided instruction, 70% teacher willing to organize English dialogue, 30% teacher will held group discussion in English. While only 10% teacher select case analysis and specify the students to introduce knowledge. Through the contrast experiment, the results show that the inquiry teaching can significantly improve the students' English learning ability; the students' score has been significantly improved.

With the development of network information, colleges actively carry out the reform of teaching methods in order to meet the requirements of modern education, and the most common measure is the application of multimedia teaching methods. This article attempts to analyze the effectiveness of physical education by suing the network multimedia technology. The author takes shot put course as an example, study on the integrity and continuity of action technology; it requires the various stages of cohesion and coherence, with a reasonable accelerated rhythm. Meanwhile, author analyzes the effectiveness of multimedia teaching in shot put course through comparative test, the result shows that multimedia teaching can improve students' interest in learning, and also will improve the teaching effect; most students get a great progress of shot scores after the experiment and overall results increased by 11%.On this basis, we put forward some suggestions on curriculum innovation in shot put teaching

These fields are integrated to visualize and finalize the proposed development, in simulation environment. SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) systems and distributed control systems (DCSs) are widely deployed in all over the world, which are designed to control the industrial infrastructures, in real ways. To supervise and control the various parts of designed systems; trends to require a deep knowledge to understand the overall functional needs of industries, which could be a big challenge. Industrial field devices (or network sensors) are usually distributed in many locations and are controlled from centralized site (or main control center); the communication provides various signs of security issues. To handle these issues, the research contribution will twofold: a method using cryptography is deployed in critical systems for security purposes and overall transmission is controlled from main controller site. At controller site, multimedia components are employed to control the overall transmission graphically, such as system communication, bytes flows, security embedded parameters and others, by the means of multimedia technology.

A Secure Fingerprinted Multimedia Distribution Using Social Network Analysis SCOPUS

Collusion attack is a very effective attack for digital fingerprinting system. In order to remove or attenuate the fingerprint information hidden in fingerprinted content, a number of users produce a new colluded copy through their own fingerprinted copies. In this paper, we address a novel collusion-resisting desynchronization fingerprinting approach using social network analysis. The novelty of this paper is that collusion attack occurred in a multimedia social network community with high probability. Different from all existing works, with desynchronization model constructed upon social network, the original image is desynchronized to get many similar copies which are different from each other, and then they are assigned and distributed to subscribers according to social network analysis. Theory analysis shows that the presented desynchronization distribution method has significantly better performance than those existing distribution schemes. The experimental results also show that the average colluded images even with only two desynchronized copies have poor visual quality. And the visual quality of colluded images does not improve apparently with the increase of the number of copies.

A reliable requirement model for resource of multimedia collaboration called “RMCS_HNE” was proposed for situation-aware middleware such as home network environment. RMCS_HNE model was used to detect and recover the resource errors for smart multimedia collaboration system among actions in distributed home network environment. An example of situation-aware applications is a smart home network system. A smart home network system for distributed multimedia holds the promise of greatly improving all forms of collecting remote data to show. The model for smart home network system aims at guaranteeing it through application fault tolerance.

System Study of the Wireless Multimedia Ad-hoc Network based on IEEE 802.11g SCOPUS

The construction of a wireless multimedia ad-hoc network needs to go across the mixed environment with the indoor, the wall-penetration, and the outdoor condition. This paper presents our contribution to address the system design aspects of a multimedia-enabled network based on IEEE 802.11g ad-hoc mode. There are distinct differences between indoor and outdoor environment and penetrating the walls stressed the system limit of the 802.11g ad-hoc mode. Therefore, routing decisions should be made intelligently with the environmental respect to maximize the bandwidth support on the end-to-end paths. By investigating the experimental results of the average throughput with the 802.11g adhoc mode, we have collected the different performance characteristics among the indoor, the wall-penetration and the outdoor environment. Via the experiments and analyses, we have observed that the ad-hoc mode had the worst performance within 5 meters in indoor environments. In outdoor environments, TCP seemed to favor either short distance (e.g., 5 meters) or long distance (e.g., 25 meters). On the other hand, the best performance UDP has achieved with the distance of 10 meters. When the wall-enetration occurs, it is important that the routing nodes in the building edge areas are placed close-by within 5 meters. Given the solid evidences from the baseline experiments, we have embedded the heuristic algorithms into the routing decisions. We have thus simulated a large area of 300 meters by 300 meters with hundreds of routing nodes. After investigating over 100 (randomlygenerated) topology scenarios, the performance results indicate that our proposed scheme produces the higher-bandwidth paths for most of the cases. Even in the less-dense cases, our proposed schemes still can find the better paths with bandwidth about 30% higher than the conventional methods.
