본 연구의 목적은 기독교인 이혼위기 부부를 대상으로 찰스 거킨의 이야기치료에 근거한 이혼위기 부부상담의 치료적 적용에 있다. 본 연구에 참여한 사례자는 중년의 기독교인 부부로서 남편의 퇴직후 부부 갈등이 심화되어 이혼위기에 처해 있었다. 상 담은 1주일에 1회씩 총 8회기로 진행하였으며 연구자는 거킨의 이야기해석학을 바탕 으로 4단계의 이야기치료를 적용하였다. 연구결과, 처음에 부부는 상대방에게 받았던 상처와 분노의 감정으로 인해 관계의 절망을 느끼고 있었는데, 1단계 상담을 통해 부 부는 자신들의 이혼위기를 유발한 핵심이야기를 발견하였고, 2단계 상담을 통하여 이 혼위기를 유발한 가장 중요한 동기와 이유를 발견하고 서로에게 이야기함으로써 상대 방의 마음을 깊이 이해하게 되었다. 3단계 상담을 통하여 부부는 하나님의 관점으로 자신들의 이혼위기 상황을 바라봄으로써 하나님앞에서 스스로의 영성을 되돌아보며 회개하는 마음을 갖게 되었고 이혼위기의 책임이 자신에게 있음을 고백하게 되었다. 4단계 상담을 통하여 예수그리스도의 십자가 사건을 깊이 묵상하면서 진정한 사랑의 의미를 새롭게 깨닫고 십자가의 사랑을 부부관계 사랑에 적용하게 되었다. 아울러 교회에서 신뢰할만한 목회자와 성도에게 도움을 요청함으로써 신앙공동체의 지속적인 지지를 받게 되었다. 상담과정을 통해 확인한 거킨의 이야기치료의 가장 큰 영향력은 부부가 만든 잘못된 이야기가 하나님이야기와 만났을 때 부부의 이야기가 재해석된다 는 점이다. 이혼위기에 있었던 부부는 처음에는 상대방에 대해서 상처받고 절망적인 감정에 치우친 이야기가 대부분이었다가 점차 하나님 안에서 자신들의 문제를 바라보 게 되었고, 결국 이전에 하나님과 함께 했던 지난날 긍정적 신앙의 경험들을 토대로 새로운 부부의 미래이야기를 품을 수 있게 되었다. 본 연구는 기독교인 부부의 이혼 위기에 대해 거킨의 이야기치료 방법론을 실제 사례에 적용하였다는 점에서 시사하는 바가 크다고 여겨진다.

The purpose of this study is to apply therapeutic application of divorce crisis couple counseling based on Charles Guckin's narrative therapy to Christian divorce crisis couples. The participants in this study were middle-aged Christian couples, who were in danger of divorce due to intensifying marital conflicts after their husband's retirement. Counseling was conducted once a week for a total of eight sessions, and the researcher applied four stages of story therapy based on Guckin's story analysis. As a result of the study, the couple initially felt despair of the relationship due to the feelings of pain and anger received from the other patner, through the first stage of counseling, the couple discovered the key story that caused their divorce crisis, and through the second stage of counseling, they discovered the most important motives and reasons for causing the divorce crisis and talked to each other. Through the third stage of counseling, the couple looked at their divorce crisis from God's point of view, and they confessed that they were responsible for the divorce crisis by looking back on their spirituality in front of God. Through the fourth stage of counseling, the couple meditated deeply the Jesus Christ's Cross, realized the meaning of true love, and applied the love of the Cross to marital love. In addition, by asking for help from trusted pastors and saints in the church, it received continuous support from the religious community. The biggest influence of Guckin's story treatment confirmed through the counseling process is that the couple's story is reinterpreted when the wrong story created by the couple meets the story of God. Couple in crisis of divorce were hurt and desperate about the other person, but gradually looked at their problems in God, and eventually, they were able to embrace the future story of a new couple based on their past positive faith experiences with God. This study is considered to have great implications in that it applied Guckin's narrative therapy methodology to actual cases for the divorce crisis of Christian couples.

The purpose of this study is to identify the process of change through the experience of the Bible-Based Relaxation Therapy (BBRT), which is a method of Christian meditation. This study aims to determine what changes occur when Christian meditation methods are utilized in counseling sessions with Christians. Specifically, the Bible-Based Relaxation Therapy developed by Yang Jung-sun was implemented in group counseling. After five weeks of participation by Christian participants, a qualitative case study was conducted to identify specific experiences and the process of change. To achieve this, the study first demonstrates the differences between Christian meditation and general meditation practices such as mindfulness, highlighting the necessity of Christian meditation. Christian meditation is not about dwelling within oneself but discovering oneself in the relationship with God. The Bible-Based Relaxation Therapy is proposed as a Christian counseling method to be used in counseling sessions. This technique involves deep breathing, short prayers, and the use of Bible verses, utilizing all five senses and engaging thoughts, emotions, and will to meditate on the scripture in a holistic and multi-dimensional way. After the program, in-depth interviews were conducted for raw data. The data were divided into contexts and analyzed within and across cases. Cross-case analysis involved forming sense units, summarized concepts, and categories, which were then arranged into experiences and the process of change. The results of the study are as follows: the experience of the Bible-Based Relaxation Therapy included Breaking and Accepting Prejudices, adapting to breathing, awareness, vivid encounter with God, the Word approaching three-dimensionally, and being filled with the Holy Spirit. The process of change after experiencing the Bible-Based Relaxation Therapy included experiencing freedom and safety, deepening of meditation, healing of wounds, physical healing, changes in daily life, and becoming a wounded healer. Based on the results, discussions and suggestions were made regarding the experiences and the process of change through the Bible-Based Relaxation Therapy. In conclusion, the Bible-Based Relaxation Therapy was familiar to Christians, and unlike general meditation, participants experienced awareness within the relationship with God. It had therapeutic effects on psychological and physical symptoms, fostered growth in living with God in daily life, and helped participants become wounded healers who look towards the Kingdom of God.

한국 사회는 다문화 선교를 위한 기독교 상담적 과제를 안고 있다. 다문화 상담에 서 기독교 내담자의 외부 세계를 이해하고 안아주기 환경을 제공하는 것은 중요한 의 미를 지닌다. 본 연구는 한 개인이 주어진 사회에 몸으로나 마음으로 적응하는데, 그 사회나 구성원들이 어떤 환경을 어떻게 제공했는지에 관심이 있다. 이를 위해 성서의 룻기를 중심으로 영국 출신의 대상관계이론가인 위니컷(D. Winnicott)의 ‘안아주기 (holding)’ 개념을 적용하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 아래와 같다; 룻이 베들레헴 사회에 순기능적으로 적응하는데 이바지한 외부 환경은 크게 보아 나오미, 베들레헴 사회, 보 아스다. 먼저 룻에게 나오미는 모압 사회에서부터 베들레헴 사회에 이르기까지 물리 적-정서적-영적으로 중요한 타자다. 동시에 룻이 베들레헴 사회에 적응하는 데 매우 중요한 외부 환경으로 기능한다. 룻은 베들레헴 사회로 이주하면서 물리적-정서적 혼 란을 경험하면서, 이방인으로 존재 자체가 해체당할 수 있는 위협에 직면하고 있었다. 이런 상황에서 나오미는 룻에게 물리적-정서적-영적인 지원을 한다. 베들레헴 사회는, 룻이 그 사회에 적응할 수 있도록 기능한 하나의 외부 세계이고 외부 환경이다. 물론 그 사회의 구성원인 나오미와 보아스, 이웃의 긍정적인 조력이 있었다. 동시에 베들레 헴 사회가 룻을 마음으로 포용하는 하나의 심리적 안아주기를 제공한다. 이 두 가지 요인이 상호 작동하면서 룻은 베들레헴 사회에 성공적으로 적응할 수 있게 되었다. 보아스는 룻이 베들레헴 사회에 신체적으로나 심리적으로 적응하는 데 있어 하나의 외부 환경을 제공하였다. 이것은, 룻이 정치적으로, 사회경제적으로, 종교문화적으로 그 사회에 적응할 수 있게 한 보호막이 되었다. 결국 보아스는 룻에게 인격적인 신뢰 성과 배려를 제공한 것이다. 동시에 물리적-정서적-영적인 해체·위협 세력에 대해 룻 의 몸과 마음 및 존재 그 자체를 방어해 준 하나의 물리적-정서적-영적인 보호막 역 할을 충실히 수행한 것이다.

In the context of an increasing number of multicultural counseling, it is especially important to provide an environment where Christian clients can understand the outside world and be embraced. This study is interested in how an individual adapts physically and emotionally to a given society, and what kind of environment the society or its members provide an environment. To this end, the biblical book of Ruth was centered on the concept of 'holding' by D. Winnicott, an object relations theorist from England. The results of this study are as follows; The external circumstances that contributed to Ruth's purely functional adaptation to Bethlehem society were, to a large extent, Naomi, Bethlehem society, and Boaz. First of all, for Ruth, Naomi is a physically-emotionally-spiritually significant other from Moab to Bethlehem society. At the same time, it functions as an external environment that is very important for Ruth to adapt to Bethlehem society. Ruth was facing the physical-emotional turmoil she was bound to experience as she moved into Bethlehem society, or the threat of being disintegrated as an outsider. In this situation, Naomi provided Ruth with physical-emotional-spiritual support. The society of Bethlehem is an external world, an external environment, that functions in such a way that Ruth can adapt to it. Of course, there was the positive support of the members of the community, Naomi and Boaz, and their neighbors. At the same time, it can be seen that the Bethlehem society provided a psychological holding that embraced Ruth in her heart. The combination of these two factors enabled Ruth to successfully adapt to Bethlehem's society. Boaz provided an external environment for Ruth to adapt physically and psychologically to Bethlehem society. This provision faithfully served as a kind of boundary that enabled Ruth to fit politically, socioeconomically, religiously, and culturally into that society. In short, Boaz provided Ruth with personal credibility and consideration. At the same time, it is a physical-emotional-spiritual boundary that defends Ruth's body, mind, and very existence against physical-emotional-spiritual disintegration and threats.

목회상담의 경우 진단과 상담을 위한 성서의 사용은 기본적인 동의를 얻고 있지만, 성서를 어떻게 사용할 것인가에 대해서는 의견이 분분하다. 이 논문의 목적은 목회상담에서 진단과 상담을 위해 성서를 사용하는 과정을 제안하는 것이다. 이 논문은 임상과 문헌연구에 기초해 있다. 이 논문은 세 부분으로 구성되었다. 첫 번째 부분은 진단과 상담을 위해 성서를 사용하기 위한 전제로서 성서에 대한 이해, 상담자의 자질, 질문의 범주와 시제 등을 다루었다. 두 번째 부분은 진단과 상담을 위해 성서를 사용하는 과정을 내담자의 내면세계와의 만남, 내담자의 의식세계 탐색, 내담자의 내면세계 탐색, 해석과 상담 등 네 단계로 제안했다. 마지막으로 세 번째 부분은 진단과 상담을 위해 성서를 사용하는 과정을 보여주는 사례들을 제시했다. 이 논문은 후속 연구를 통해 성서를 사용하는 목회상담의 실천에서 사용될 수 있다. 이 논문은 심리학으로 기울어진 사람들에게 성서를 사용하는 진단과 상담의 가능성을 더 많이 열어줄 수 있으며, 성서로 기울어진 사람들에게 진단과 상담을 위해 성서를 사용하는 또 다른 방법을 보여줄 수 있다.

In the case of pastoral counseling, the Bible’s role in using for Diagnosis and Counseling has gained more support recent days, but the opinion varies on the approaches to the use of the Bible. The aim of this paper is to propose the use of PROCESS by providing an overview of methods applying the Bible in pastoral counseling for the diagnosis and counseling. This paper is based upon the clinical and literature research. This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is about the prerequisite for using the Bible for the diagnosis and counseling, such as the understanding of the Bible, the qualifications of counselor, and the category and tense of questions. The second part is about the process of using the Bible for the diagnosis and counseling, such as the meeting with the client’s inner world, the exploration of the client’s consciousness, the exploration of the client’s inner world, and interpretation and intervention. The last part will include an example of processes using the Bible for the diagnosis and counseling. This paper can be used in the practice of pastoral counseling that uses the Bible through a follow up study. This paper could open up more possibilities to use the Bible for diagnosis and counseling for those who are inclined to psychology, and could show anther path to apply the Bible for diagnosis and counseling for people who are inclined to the Bible.

이 논문의 목적은 기독교 상담자들로 하여금 성경의 권위의 중요성을 알게 함으로써 현대 자유신학의 정점에 있는 퀴어신학의 허구성을 분별하고, 인간 경험 위에 있는 성경의 권위를 기독교 상담의 핵심적인 기초로 삼게 하려는 것이다. 성경의 권위를 의심하고 이성과 도덕을 중시하였던 경험론과 합리주의 철학은 성경을 떠난 자유주의 신학의 물꼬를 텄다. Augustine은 마니교를 비롯한 이성 중심적 철학의 유혹을 극복하고, 성경의 무오성과 그리스도 구속을 역설하였다. Calvin 역시 그리스도의 구속의 은혜를 강조하였고, 성경은 하나님의 영으로 감동된 말씀으로서 그 자체가 인간에게 권위가 되어 믿음의 대상이 된다고 말한다. 하지만 Hume이나 Kant와 같은 철학자들은 성경의 권위를 부정하고, 성경의 기적이나 전통적 신앙보다 도덕적 이상을 더욱 중시하여, 종교적 신앙을 도덕주의로 환원하였다. 같은 맥락에서 퀴어신학은 모든 성경을 자신들의 필요에 맞게 해석함으로써 성경에 대한 신뢰와 믿음을 무너뜨린다. 이런 강력한 도전 앞에서 기독교 상담자는 퀴어신학의 성경해석을 경계하고, 성경을 인간 경험의 가치와 동등하게 여기는 오류를 멈추어야 한다. 오히려 말씀에 근거하여 그리스도를 통한 회개와 죄 사함의 은혜를 통해 모든 사람이 하나님 앞에서 구원과 치유를 얻도록 안내해야 한다.

The purpose of this article is for Christian counselors to understand the significance of the authority of the Bible as an essential foundation for Christian counseling. Augustine fought the Pelagian heresy of his day by basing his trust on the inerrancy of the Bible. Calvin emphasized the atonement of the Christ revealed in the Spirit-inspired Scripture that becomes an object of our faith with its divine authority. However, liberal theology inherited the Pelagian priority of human reason over inspiration with the advent of the Renaissance and the preference of human rationality to Christian authority of the Scripture. Immanuel Kant valued human reason and morality higher than the Christian doctrines such as incarnation, crucifixion or resurrection and reduced the faith-tradition into religious moralism. Liberal theology that follows after Kant and Schleiermacher results in forsaking traditional faith values and, instead, taking only adaptable moral instructions for the day from the Bible. Queer theology, in the same vein, takes the liberal stance of the Bible by radically modifying scriptural texts only for the wellbeing of LGBTQIA people. Aware of the dangers of liberal theology, the Christian counselor must stand on the faith of the authority of the Bible and the Christ’s atonement that can even save the homosexual.

본 연구는 많은 크리스천 상담사가 사람의 심리적 차원과 영적인 차원이 긴밀하게 연결되고 상호작용한다는 사실을 간과하고 심리학적 상담에 머물러 있는 현상에 대한 아쉬움에서 비롯되었다. 심리학은 기본적으로 사람의 내면 정서와 심리, 관계적 요소 등에 대해 다룬다. 그러나 성경은 이러한 요소들을 포함하여 사람이 경험하는 갈등과 곤경, 문제들의 근원적 발단과 예수 그리스도의 구속 사역을 통한 새로운 ‘자기’로의 거듭남, 마음을 새롭게 하고, 믿음으로 변화와 성장을 향해 나아가는 진리의 말씀을 담고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 크리스천의 상담이 사람의 심리적 차원만 아니라 영적 차원에 대한 초점을 갖고 성경 진리에 기반한 접근을 해야 할 당위성을 천명하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 연구자는 이러한 관점에 기반하여 ‘심리학과 성경’에 대한 다섯 가지 입장에 대해 국내의 K-상담대학원생 39명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문 결과, 크리스천 대학원생들에게 성경적 인간 이해와 상담 접근이 불필요하다거나 주저 혹은 결여되는 경향성이 파악되었으며, 이는 구체적인 관련 훈련의 유무와 관련이 있었다. 이러한 결과에 내포된 함의들을 성찰한 후 연구를 마무리하였다.

This study originated from concerns that Christian counselors often overlook the deep interconnection between psychological and spiritual dimensions, focusing solely on psychological perspectives. While Christian counseling shares many aspects with psychological counseling, it differs fundamentally in its emphasis on spiritual aspects and biblical perspectives. Psychology primarily deals with emotions, thoughts, and relational dynamics, whereas the Bible incorporates these psychological elements while also revealing the root causes of human struggles, the limitations of human effort, and the power of Christ’s redemptive work. Through His ministry, people experience born-again self, transformation of mind, and growth through faith. Based on related previous studies, the researcher established five positions on the relationship between psychology and the Scripture and conducted a survey of 39 graduate Christian counseling-major students in Korea. The study reflects on the implications of the survey findings and concludes with further insights.

오늘날 일어나고 있는 유례없는 과학과 사회문화적 변화 속에서 미래에 대 한 디스토피아적 예측의 담론들은 방향성 상실, 불안, 위기의식을 갖게 한다. 인간의 삶이 더 윤택해질 것이라는 유토피아적인 담론들에 대해서도 불확실 성으로 인한 의구심은 마찬가지다. 이러한 현실 가운데, 사람들이 ‘처한 상 황에서 진실’은 무엇인가, 그리고 ‘우리의 반응과 선택’은 무엇이어야 하는 가? 여기에 대해 성경은 ‘하나님을 경외하고 아는 것이 지혜’라고 명확하게 말한다. 그러므로 시대를 불문하고 인간의 생각과 반응 그리고 선택은 진리 의 말씀에 기반해야 하고 또 그 말씀을 순종함으로 그리스도를 닮아가야 한 다. 그러므로 말씀에 순종하는 사람이 되기 위해서는 말씀을 알도록 가르쳐 야 한다. 하나님의 명령 또한 부지런히 말씀을 가르치라는 것이다. 본고의 목적은 현대사회의 변화와 문화적 영향으로 인한 사람들의 고통스러운 감 정, 인간중심적사고, 위기의식, 불안과혼란과같은상담의실천현장에복 음을 연결하는 것이다. 이에 현대사회의 변화의 영역으로 과학기술, 사회문화, 현대 상담문화와 목회 상담 영역에서의 변화를 살펴보고, 현대사회의 변화와 그 영향으로 인한 인간성 상실은 하나님을 반영하는 존재로서의 성경적 정체성 회복을 통해 가능하다는 것을 밝힌다.

In unparalleled (incomparable) science and a social-cultural change that are happening nowadays, predicted dystopic discussions regarding the future predispose a loss of direction, anxiety, and a sense of crisis. Dystopic dis- cussions claim that human life will be abundant occur doubts due to un- certainty as well. In this reality, what is the truth in the situation that are people experiencing, and what must be our response and decision? In these questions, the Bible state clearly that to worship and know God is wisdom. Therefore, regardless of period, human’s thought, respond, and choice must be founded on truth words in the Bible and to come to resemble Jesus Christ by obeying the words. Sincerely, to become a man who obeys the Bible must be taught to know the Bible. Diligently teaching Bible is also a command from God. The purpose of this article is to teach words in the Bible that are connected to the Gospel in counseling practice sites that most encounter people’s painful emotions, anthropocentric thinking, sense of crisis, anxiety, and confusion that are affected by social change and cul- tural influence: To teach Bible in the situations above, biblical counseling method will be applied This article, the area of a change in modern society, will look at a change in scientific technique, sociocultural, modern counseling culture, and bib- lical counseling and will present that loss of a corrupted humanity that is influenced by a change in modern society is possible through biblical iden- tity recovery.
