The Domain Name System (DNS) is a fundamental component of the critical infrastructure of the Internet. The need of the DNS service is vital, as it is used in every Internet transaction. It always becomes an object of different types of attacks like cache poisoning and Man in The Middle attacks. DNSSEC, the extended version of DNS, is based on asymmetric cryptography in order to provide security services. It improves security level by adding authenticity and integrity services to DNS protocol. Unfortunately, it doesn’t provide confidentiality service and consequently, data transmitted across a network is readable to the public. In this paper, we propose a new protocol ENC-DNSSEC to enhance DNSSEC security. ENC-DNSSEC proposes a new structure of DNS message which encapsulates the standard version; this cryptographic encapsulation associates two types of encryption protocols and a signature to give a high level of security in data transaction. First, we give an overview of DNS and DNSSEC protocols; particularly, we present security limitations for both of them. After that, we explain our proposal and we analyze the impact of our method to enhance DNSSEC security.

The Internet has gone deeply into nowadays college students’ life, and has become an important platform for students to study, entertainment, and build social relationships. In this paper, we study the patterns of how college students use the Internet, and analyze the potential impacts of Internet on the living and education of college students. We find that 95% of college students spend more than two hours online per day. Academic and career development is the top motivation for college students to use the Internet. However, high percentage of the college students is not able to control their usage of the Internet well, which leading to recognition that the Internet is a negative factor that affects their course performance. The findings are helpful for educators to guide students to use Internet in a reasonable way and to find ways to make the Internet to be conducive to high quality of higher education.

In this paper, we study physical layer security (PLS) of wireless networks in presence of one eavesdropper. Assume that the channel state information (CSI) of the eavesdropper cannot be obtained at the transmitter, such as CSI can be then estimated through the CSI of a torch node. In addition, a practical issue of wireless nodes, i.e., hardware impairment (HI), is considered at the source node of the network. System performances in terms of secrecy outage probability, probability of non-zero secrecy capacity and ergodic secrecy capacity are then investigated over Rayleigh fading channels. In particular, the closed-form expressions of the secrecy outage probability and probability of non-zero secrecy capacity are provided. Analytical results are then validated by Monte-Carlo simulation. Numerical results reveal the effects of the HI and the advantages of the use of the torch node in PLS of wireless communications.

Virtual reality means that people use the computer to visualize complex data and real-time interaction. In this paper, the authors proposed a 3D geological modeling for slope engineering by using Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines (NURBS) surface function. By analyzing the commonly used 3D data structure, we construct a 3D solid modeling of complex slope, which combined with the advantages of NURBS surface and B-Rep entity. The results show that the realization of 3D geological visualization can be used as the decision basis for the slope engineering construction. At the same time, the author analyzed the greening slope that could prevent water and soil loss, and put forward the importance of slope greening protection from the view of ecological protection.
