A new method for insertion of message using 6th, 7th and 8th bits of pixel values of an image is developed. This method is an improvement over the earlier method [7] in which 6th and 7th bits of pixel values of an image were used. A method to retrieve the message is also given. Another advantage offered by this technique is that the message can be retrieved even if the intruder changes the least significant bit of all the image pixels in which message has been embedded.

This paper uses Support Vector Machines (SVM) to fuse multiple classifiers for an offline signature system. From the signature images, global and local features are extracted and the signatures are verified with the help of Gaussian empirical rule, Euclidean and Mahalanobis distance based classifiers. SVM is used to fuse matching scores of these matchers. Finally, recognition of query signatures is done by comparing it with all signatures of the database. The proposed system is tested on a signature database contains 5400 offline signatures of 600 individuals and the results are found to be promising.

Watermarking is the practice of imperceptibly altering a cover to embed a message about that cover. Watermarks are inseparable from the cover in which they are embedded. Unlike cryptography, watermarks can protect content even after they are decoded. Quantum watermarking is a new-born subfield of the young field of digital watermarking. In this paper, we review the proposed encoding decoding algorithm for quantum watermarking.
