This study has been carried out to look into the effects of 247 sign language interpreters' perception of deaf culture on their competency. The findings are. as follows: Firstly, sign language interpreters’' perception of deaf culture was more positive and higher when they had longer experiences of deaf-related working centers, careers and interpretation activiη experiences. Secondly, sign language interpreters’competency was examined according‘to gender, age, working centers, careers, interpretation activity experiences,' and deaf-club related activities. Thirdly, the effects of sign language interpreters' perception of deaf culture on their competency showed that the higher the identity with the deaf culture, sign language of the deaf, and organizational network, the more positive sign language interpreters' grasp of deaf culture was, and the higher their competency became.

This study put its purpose that makes the types of the effective factors on runaway youth' s life transition to prevent youth from re-runaway and make basic research to support effective leaving from runaway life. For this, it has been analyzed 30 cases that have successfully switched from runaway, and have got the result as follows. it's been classified the types of the effective factors on runaway youth's life transition into four, namely Family Support Type(FST), Independence Orientation Type(IOT), Self Reflection Type(SRT) and Crisis Experience Type(CET). These terms were first suggested for this study. Practical implication of this study is as follows. We need to find out the personal need of runaway youth to intervene in runaway factors and a range of nmaway transition. For this, wé can consider to develop assessment tool as Q-Block. Moreover, we can intervene in runaway youth by using the strong points and protective factors of them. To do t비s, we can take an active hand to change in family communication and to reinforce family relationship. And we can support youth to regard themselves veη valuable so that they may be motivated in self development and display resilience. Except these, we can systematically help runaway youth easily approach to community resources to be prepared to help them, and make network to well information to coinmunity resources, increase of youth drop-in center and reinforcement of outreach service.

본 연구는 여성 결혼이민자에게 초점을 둔 국제결흔과 관련된 기존연구와는 달리, 연구대상에 다소 밀려나 있었던 국제결흔 효닥남성 12명을 대상으로 이들이 경험하는 결흔적응에 대한 이해를 하고자 Straus와 Cortin(1쨌)이 제시한 근거이론으로 접근했다. 연구참여자들과의 심층면담을 통해 얻은 원자료를 분석한 결과 177개의 개념과 54개의 하위범주 그리고 19개의 범주가 나타났다 이러한 자료를 토대로 패러다임에 의한 분석을 한 결과 국제결혼 한국남성의 결혼적응과정은 ‘국내결혼의 좌절과 포기의 단계’,‘모험의 단계’, ‘갈등과 후회의 단계’, ‘수용과 타협의 단계’, ‘적응기의 진입단계’로 도출되었다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 국제결혼 한국남성들에게 제공되어야하는 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.
This study, unlike the existing researches related to intemational marriage with the focus on female marriage irnmigrants, approached with the ground theory suggested by Strauss and Corbin(1998) in order to understand about the marriage adjustment that these people experience, targeting 12 Korean men in intemational marriage, whom had been a little moved back from researches subjects. As the results of raw Data analysis collected through in -depth interview of research participants, 177 concepts, 54 subcategories and 19 catagories were generated. As the results of categorical an머sis by the paradigm, on the basis of these data, ‘nstage of frustration and abandonment in domestic marriage’ ‘pstage of adventure' , ‘nstage of conflict and repent' , ‘pstage of acceptance and compromise' and ‘nstage of entering the adjustment period’were elicited as the marriage adjustment process in Korean men with intemational marriage. on the basis of these analysis results, this. study investigated the practical implication to be provided Korean men with intemational marriage.

This study was to investigate the factors for quality improvement of long term care service and to suggest practical plans related to them. To analyze how service provider. factors and c1ient factors affect the service quality, 30 directors of long term care. facilities, 328 long term. care workers and 333 c1ients were surveyed and the implications are as below. In the interaction effect of facility factors in c1ient factors and provider factors, it was shown that c1ient' s age and foundation period, director’s length of service, recognition and reward, leadership, participation in decision-making,' role conflict, and role ambiguity had an interactive effect on service quality. There was also' an interactive effect of c1ient' s age and director’s previous occupation, role overload, and task identity on service quality. Client’ps residential district interacted with director’s previous occupation, director’s length of service, recognition and reward, feedback, and task identity and affected service qu떠ty. Also, c1ient’ps care-receiver interacted with the central operating body, director’s total career, director’s ptevious occupation, and significance and affected service quality. Client' s extemal communication interacted with education and development and c1ient’ps physical condition interacted with the central operating body, director's previous occupation, and role overload.
