The purpose of this study is to select empowerment, job satisfaction, and security performance as variables, and to present a plan to improve the security performance of the security management functional subcategories responsible for court security by revealing the causal relationship between variables. To achieve this purpose, a survey was conducted with the cooperation of a security management functional subcategories among court security management officers in charge of court security in Gwangju, Daejeon, Busan, and Seoul High Court from January 3 to January 17, 2023, and a total of 223 data were collected. Among the collected data, 204 data were finally analyzed, excluding 19 questionnaires containing missing and outliers. The analysis of the collected data was conducted using the SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 programs. The results analyzed in this study are as follows. First, empowerment had a positive (+) effect on job satisfaction. Second, job satisfaction had a positive (+) effect on security performance. Third, empowerment did not have a positive (+) effect on security performance. Fourth, empowerment had a positive (+) effect on security performance through job satisfaction and was completely mediated. Based on the results, the study suggested that the leaders of the court security team, the court security officer, and the court security team leader, should praise and acknowledge the security management functional subcategories who passionately conduct court security tasks to increase empowerment. In addition, this study suggested that the Office of Court Administration should make efforts to propose to the National Assembly to amend Article 81 of the Criminal Procedure Act so that security management functional subcategories are given legal authority to execute arrest warrants.

이 연구는 임파워먼트, 직무만족, 보안성과를 변수로 선정한 뒤 변수 간의 인과관 계를 밝혀 법정보안을 담당하는 보안관리직류의 보안성과를 높이기 위한 방안을 제 시하는데 그 목적을 둔다. 이러한 목적 달성을 위해 2023년 1월 3일부터 1월 17일까 지 광주･대전･부산･서울고등법원 관내에서 법정보안을 담당하는 법원보안관리대원 중 보안관리직류의 협조를 받아 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 223부의 자료를 수거 하였다. 수거된 자료 중 결측치･이상치가 포함된 19부의 설문지를 제외한 204부의 자료를 최종적으로 분석하였다. 수거된 자료의 분석은 SPSS 21.0, AMOS 21.0 프로그 램을 사용해 분석을 실시하였다. 이 연구에서 분석된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 임파 워먼트는 직무만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 직무만족은 보안성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 임파워먼트는 보안성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치지 않았다. 넷째, 임파워먼트는 직무만족을 경유하여 보안성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳐 완전매개 하였 다. 도출된 결과를 바탕으로 이 연구에서는 임파워먼트를 높이기 위해 법정보안팀의 리더인 법정보안담당관 및 법정보안팀장은 열정적으로 법정보안 업무를 실시하는 보안관리직류를 칭찬하고 인정해야 한다는 시사점을 제시하였다. 더불어 법원행정 처는 직무만족을 높이기 위한 정책을 수립하여 이를 적용하고, 일반승진을 실시해 직무만족을 높여야 한다는 시사점을 제시하였다. 아울러 보안관리직류가 구속영장 집행업무를 보조할 수 있는 권한이 부여되도록 법원행정처는 형사소송법 제81조가 개정되도록 국회에 건의하는 등의 노력을 기울여야 한다는 시사점을 제시하였다.
