As the maritime police system revives with the launch of the Moon Jae-in government, it is urgently needed to strengthen the duty attitude and job capacity of marine police officers more than ever. Based on this purpose, this study analyzed what motivation factors affect organizational commitment and job satisfaction of marine police officers and tried to provide implications for job design, personnel and organizational management of marine police organizations in the future. The research found that job commitment, boss trust, and job autonomy factors affect both organizational commitment and job satisfaction, and reflux (feedback) factors affect job satisfaction only. In the conclusion of the factors, the above four motivational factors were presented to improve the motivation, and the policy implications of improving the organizational commitment and job satisfaction of marine police officers were presented.

문재인 정부 출범과 더불어 해양경찰청 체제의 부활이 이루어짐에 따라 그 어느때보다도 해양경찰 공무원들의 헌신적 근무태도와 직무역량 강화가 절실히 요구되어진다. 이러한 취지에 입각하여 이 연구에서는 어떠한 동기부여요인이 해양경찰공무원들의 조직몰입과 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 가를 분석하여 향후 해양경찰조직의직무설계 및 인사․조직관리에 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 연구결과 동기부여요인 중 직무몰입, 상사신뢰, 직무자율성요인이 공히 조직몰입과 직무만족 모두에 영향을 주고 있고 환류(feedback)요인은 직무만족에만 영향을주고 있다. 결론부분에 위의 네 가지 동기부여 요인들에 대한 동기부여 향상 대책을제시하여 해양경찰공무원들의 조직몰입과 직무만족도를 고양시키고자 하는 정책적함의와 연구의 한계점을 제시하였다.
