한국대학의 가장 전형적인 교수법은 강의식 수업에 프레젠테이션이나 영상 매체를 활용하는 것이다. 이러한 교수법은 전통적 강의식 수업이 가지는 한계인 지식의 현장적응력 부족과 디지털 매체로 인한 교육적 의사소통의 부재를 초래하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 교직수업을 담당한 교수들이 자신의 강의 콘텐츠와 디지털 매체의 활용을 모두 유지하면서도 전통적 강의가 가지는 한계점을 극복할 수 있는 대안으로 역진행 교직수업모형을 제안하였다. 역진행 교직수업모형은 교직수업에서 다루는 이론을 학교현장에 적용해보는 활동을 강화시킬 수 있기 때문에 의의가 있다. 이를 위하여 문헌연구를 통하여 역진행 수업 모형 설계를 위한 원리인 교실밖 학습과 교실안 학습의 분리전략과 연계전략을 도출한 후, 역진행 교직수업모형을 개발하였다. 그리고 개발된 모형을 교직수업에 적용한 후 전문가 검토와 현장적용 형성평가를 거쳐 모형을 수정한 후 완성하였다.

A recent typical teaching method, which many Korean teachers and professors would like to do in their lecture style classes, has been using presentations or video media. However, this teaching method has prevented from communicating between students and teachers or professors, as a traditional lecture may prohibit students from participating and adapting in their learning. Therefore, this author proposes a flipped classroom, as an alternative model for professors who may keep using their teaching contents and digital media in teaching profession courses, while overcoming potential limitations of a traditional lecture. In order to achieve this goal, this author has obtained principles of a flipped classroom model design after reviewing related literature, and then developed a flipped classroom model for teaching profession courses. In addition, this author has redesigned this flipped classroom model through formative evaluation after testing the developed previous model in teaching profession courses, and reviewing with expert groups.
