Purpose: To evaluate the effect of post-curing on the three-dimensional (3D) accuracy of artificial teeth, denture bases, and denture base monoblock manufactured using digital light processing (DLP) technology. Methods: Using an edentulous model, a 3D design was made for complete dentures. Three groups were printed by DLP: artificial teeth, denture bases, and denture base monoblock. The models were scanned, subjected to post-curing, and scanned again. Three-dimensional analysis was performed based on the post-treatment differences among the three groups. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS Statistics ver. 22.0 (IBM), and the Mann– Whitney U-test and Kruskal–Wallis test were employed as nonparametric tests. Results: The complete denture monoblock (CM) and complete denture artificial teeth (CA) groups showed the lowest and highest errors at 15.13 and 23.37 μm, respectively. The groups did not show significant differences (p>0.05). In the significance test among the three groups, no significance was found in the CA group; however, significant differences were found between the complete denture base (CB) and CM groups. In addition, the three groups showed significant differences (p<0.05). Conclusion: Although deformation may occur during the post-curing process, it is within the clinically acceptable range. Future comparative studies using different 3D printers and searching for ways to minimize errors through optimization of the post-curing process are warranted.

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze deformation according to post-curing of complete arch artificial teeth for temporary dentures printed with a digital light processing (DLP) printer. Methods: An edentulous model was prepared and an occlusal rim was produced. The edentulous model and occlusal rim were scanned using a model scanner. A complete denture was designed using a dental computer-aided design, and the denture base and artificial tooth were separated. Ten complete arch artificial teeth were printed using a 3D printer (DLP). Complete arch artificial teeth was classified into the following three groups: a group no post-curing (NC), a group with 10 minutes post-curing (10M), and a group with 20 minutes post-curing (20M). Specimens were scanned using a model scanner. The scanned data were overlapped with the reference data. Statistical analysis was performed using one-way ANOVA analysis of variance, Kruskal–Wallis test, and Mann–Whitney U test (α=0.05). Results: Regarding the overall deviation of complete arch artificial teeth, the NC group showed the lowest mean deviation of 111.13 μm and the 20M group showed the highest mean deviation of 131.03 μm. There were statistically significant differences among the three groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: The complete arch artificial tooth showed deformation due to post-curing. In addition, the largest shrinkage deformation was observed at 10 minutes of post-curing, whereas the least deformation was observed at 20 minutes.

This study was conducted for the purpose of suggesting a standard that can be used under ambient temperature by improving the low mechanical and thermal properties of ABS. PC was used as a filler, and post-curing conditions of the ABS/PC blend injection material were investigated. It was found that the ABS/PC blend injection material having a PC content of 20 wt.% or more showed little change in tensile properties at a temperature of 50°C, and a decrease in tensile properties of less than 10% at 80°C.

Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of post-curing method on the flexural strength of provisional restorative resins produced by a digital light processing printer. Methods: A total of 20 specimens were produced, with a length of 64 mm, width of 10 mm, and thickness of 3.3 mm using a digital light processing printer. Two types of provisional restorative resins made with different post-curing methods were investigated and divided into conventional and vacuum groups. For the flexural strength test, each group was prepared by each method according to ISO 10477, and the flexural strength was measured with a universal testing machine. For statistical analysis, data were analyzed by independent t-test and Mann–Whitney U test. Results: The flexural strengths of the conventional and vacuum groups were 151.89 MPa and 131.94 MPa, respectively, showing a statistically significant difference (p<0.05). Conclusion: Within the limitation of this study, provisional restorative resins produced with vacuum demonstrated lower flexural strength than those produced with conventional postcuring method.

고온수열에 의해 열화된 고강도 콘크리트는 미세균열, 중성화 등으로 강도 및 내구성 열화가 발생될 수밖에 없고, 향후 이로 인한 보강철근의 부식 및 수명저하 등이 예상된다. 하지만, 이러한 고온수열로 열화된 고강도 콘크리트의 강도 및 내구성회복과 연관한 연구는 매우 드문 실정이다. 특히, 기존 중성화된 콘크리트의 알칼리회복제(Alkali Recovery Agent, 이하 ARA)를 사용하여 콘크리트의 알칼리성을 재부여하고 철근부식을 방지하는 기술들이 실용화되고 있는 상황이다. 따라서 이러한 ARA를 고온수열로 중성화된 고강도 콘크리트에 활용시 제반 물리적, 역학적 특성의 변화가 기대되나, 아직까지 이와 연관된 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 고온수열을 받은 고강도 콘크리트의 성능 회복을 위하여 ARA 종류 및 화재후 재양생 방법을 변화시켜 이들이 수열온도 단계별 고강도 콘크리트의 압축강도, 탄성특성 그리고 미세구조에 미치는 영향을 고찰하고자 한다.

This paper is to investigate experimentally the effect of alkali recovery agents and post fire curing methods on mechanical properties and micro-structures of the high strength concrete subjected to elevated temperature. High strength concrete with 60 MPa was fabricated and exposed to 300, 600 and 900℃ after 28 days. Three different types of alkali recovery agents(ARA) including solium silicate and lithium silicate were applied, and water and air curing were also adopted for post fire curing after 28 days since fire test. Compressive strength, strain-stress relationship, SEM, Porosity by MIP and XRD were measured before and after fire test. Test results indicate that applying of ARA and post curing resulted in the increase of residual strength and modulus of elasticity under 300℃ compared with those without ARA and post curing after heated, while compressive strength and modulus of elasticity of ARA applied concrete at above 600℃ was lower those before fire test. Concrete applying modified sodium silicate based ARA(NS-Top) shows most favorable performance in strength recovery. According to SEM and porosity observation, applying ARA helps the concrete regain an alkalinity and thus, small pores below 0.1 ㎛ were increased remarkably while large pores were decreased compared to the concrete with no ARA.

재생층이 상변화물질로 이루어진 초해상 광디스크에 있어서, 기록 전과 후에 thermal curing 을 실시하여 신호품질과 재생안정성이 크게 향상되었다. Pre-curing으로 수천 회 이하에서 나타나는 short-term stability가 향상되었고, post-curing 한 후 mid-term stability 가 향상되었다. 그리고, pre- and post-curing 후 noise level 은 전반적으로 $1{\sim}2dB$가 낮아졌고, CNR은 $2{\sim}3dB$, jitter 는 $2{\sim}3%$ 가 향상되었다.

Comparing volumetric and biological aspects of 3D-printed interim restorations under various post-curing modes

Purpose. This study aims to compare the volumetric change, degree of conversion (DOC), and cytotoxicity of 3D-printed restorations post-cured under three different conditions. Materials and Methods. 3D-printed interim restorations were post-cured under three different conditions and systems: 5 min, 30 min, and 24 h. Three-unit and six-unit fixed dental prostheses (n = 30 for each case) were printed; ten specimens from each group were post-cured and then scanned to compare their volumetric changes. Root-mean-squared (RMS) values of the data were acquired by superimposing the scanned files with original files. Thirty disk-shaped specimens were printed to evaluate the DOC ratio. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy was used to compare the DOCs of 10 specimens from each group. Human gingival fibroblasts were used to measure the cell viability of every specimen (n = 7). The data from this experiment were employed for one-way analysis of variance and Tukey's post-hoc comparisons. Results. Differences between the three-unit restorations were statistically insignificant, regardless of the post-curing conditions. However, for the six-unit restorations, a high RMS value was acquired when the post-curing duration was 30 min. The average DOC was approximately 56 - 62%; the difference between each group was statistically insignificant. All the groups exhibited cell viability greater than 70%, rendering them clinically acceptable. Conclusion. The post-curing conditions influenced the volume when the length of the restoration was increased. However, this deviation was found to be clinically acceptable. Additionally, post-curing did not significantly influence the DOC and cytotoxicity of the restorations.

PURPOSE. This study aimed to compare the accuracy (trueness and precision) of interim crowns fabricated using DLP (digital light processing) according to post-curing time. MATERIALS AND METHODS. A virtual stone study die of the upper right first molar was created using a dental laboratory scanner. After designing interim crowns on the virtual study die and saving them as Standard Triangulated Language files, 30 interim crowns were fabricated using a DLP-type 3D printer. Additively manufactured interim crowns were post-cured using three different time conditions-10-minute post-curing interim crown (10-MPCI), 20-minute post-curing interim crown (20-MPCI), and 30-minute post-curing interim crown (30-MPCI) (n = 10 per group). The scan data of the external and intaglio surfaces were overlapped with reference crown data, and trueness was measured using the best-fit alignment method. In the external and intaglio surface groups (n = 45 per group), precision was measured using a combination formula exclusive to scan data (10C2). Significant differences in accuracy (trueness and precision) data were analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis H test, and post hoc analysis was performed using the Mann-Whitney U test with Bonferroni correction (α=.05). RESULTS. In the 10-MPCI, 20-MPCI, and 30-MPCI groups, there was a statistically significant difference in the accuracy of the external and intaglio surfaces (P<.05). On the external and intaglio surfaces, the root mean square (RMS) values of trueness and precision were the lowest in the 10-MPCI group. CONCLUSION. Interim crowns with 10-minute post-curing showed high accuracy.

The effects of aromatic curing agent of MDA contents and post curing conditions on dielectric deterioration characteristics of DGEBA/MDA/SN system were investigated. The dielectric properties were measured by using needle-plane electrode geometry under the commercial AC high electric field application. As the curing agent content increased, the dielectric breakdown strength increased and then decreased slightly. All the trees initiated from the tip of needle electrode and the shape of the tree in this system was a dendrite type.

The thermal stability of the post cured epoxy-polysiloxane IPN structure was observed by using DSC and TGA. As the post curing time increased the glass transition temperature increased and the secondary exothermic peak disappeared. The thermally decomposing activation energy calculated by using Kissinger expression was 225.6 kJ/mol. The thermal stability of the grafted IPN of epoxy and silicon compound depends on the composing ratio and post curing conditions of time and temperature.

HTPB 고체 추진제 기계적 물성의 후경화 효과에 대하여 시편 시험을 통하여 평가하였다. 후경화 반응 완료 후 시편 가속노화 시험을 실시하여 Arrhenius 식의 계수를 획득하였다. 확인을 위하여 원통형 모사 충전체를 설계, 제작하여 가속노화 시험을 수행하였으며, 시험 후 추진제 표면 부위, 중앙 부위, 접착 부위에 대하여 시편을 채취하여 노화 물성을 평가하였다. 측정된 결과에 대하여, 획득된 가속노화 식으로 예측하여 비교하였다. 그 결과 JANNAF 시편 시험을 통한 가속노화 식은 추진제 재료의 노화를 잘 예측하였으나 접착 부위에서는 실제 측정 결과와 차이를 나타내었다. 따라서 실기형 추진기관에서 노화 시료를 채취하는 경우 시험 목적에 부합하도록 시편 채취 부위를 선정해야 한다.

Post curing effects are estimated by specimen tests. Propellant specimen accelerated aging tests are performed when post curing is estimated to be complete and the coefficients of Arrhenius aging equations are acquired. Simulated motors with cylindrical grain are designed and fabricated to confirm the application. Accelerated aging tests are conducted, and aged properties are measured and estimated for the inner bore, center and bond parts of the grain. The measured aging ratios of the modulus are compared with the ones predicted by the equations. As the results, the accelerated aging equations predict well the propellant aging trends; however, some differences are observed at the bond part. Therefore, the specimen extraction part must be carefully chosen to suit the test purpose when a rocket motor grain is used for the aging test.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of post-fire-curing on the strength recovery of fire-damaged concrete The 170 specimens have been tested with variables of concrete strengths(20, 30, 40, 50, 60Mpa) exposed to elevated temperatures till $600^{\circ}C$ and $800^{\circ}C$. After natural cooling, the specimens were subjected to post-fire-curing in water and in a controlled chamber for a total duration of 56days. Unstressed compressive strength was conducted to examine the change in the concrete. The test results indicated that the post-fire-curing results in substantial strength recovery and its extent depend on the method and duration of recuring.

콘크리트 구조물이 화재 손상을 입을 경우 노출온도 및 지속시간에 따라 구조물의 심각한 성능 저하를 야기하며, 콘크리트의 재료 물성 저하를 수반한다. 화재 손상을 입은 콘크리트 구조물의 재사용여부 및 보수보강 판단을 위해서는 손상 직후 및 재양생 조건에 따른 주요 손상 부위의 면밀한 손상 평가가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 재양생 조건에 따른 화재 손상을 입은 콘크리트의 재료물성 회복에 관한 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 화재 손상을 입은 콘크리트 시편을 상대습도 및 재양생 기간을 달리한 재양생 조건을 적용하였으며, 충격공진기법을 도입하여 콘크리트 시편의 화재 손상 전후 및 재양생 이후의 동탄성계수를 측정하여 손상 정도를 평가하였다. 측정된 결과로부터 재양생 조건 중 높은 상대습도 조건에서 지배적으로 재료물성의 회복이 발생하였다. 추가적으로 콘크리트 시편의 동탄성계수 및 인장강도의 직접적인 비교 및 선형회귀분석을 수행하여 재양생 조건에 따른 영향을 분석하였으며, 이를 토대로 높은 습도 조건에서 동탄성계수의 회복이 인장강도에 비해 두드러지게 나타남을 확인하였다.

When concrete structures expose to fire, the structures were damaged accompanied with degradation of material properties of concrete. In order to determine the reuse of fire-damaged concrete structures, it is needed a careful determination considering conditions of fire damage, such as exposure temperature and exposure time, and also potential to restore fire damage. This study investigates on the evaluation of residual material properties of fire-damaged concrete under different post-fire curing regimes. An experimental study was performed on concrete samples to measure the dynamic elastic modulus by the impact resonance vibration method. Upon the experimental results, the evidence of restoration of material properties was confirmed on specific post-fire curing regimes, higher humidity conditions. Additionally, a correlation analysis was performed on the dynamic elastic modulus with the tensile strength for identifying the effects of post-fire curing regimes on both material properties of fire-damaged concrete.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and substitute possibility of a newly developed flowable composite resins as a luting cement for translucent fiber post. Material & Method: Two kinds of 12 mm translucent fiber Post (D.T. Light-Post (Bisco, USA) and FRC Postec (Ivoclar vivadent, Liechtenstein) was inserted into the teflon mold (7 mm diameter, 9 mm long) and Filtek-Flow (3M ESPE. USA), a light activated flowable composite resin, was polymerized for 60 seconds through the post. Also, the post was cut from the tip to 9 mm, 6 mm, 3 mm, and Filtek-Flow was light cured according to each length. For comparison, 60 seconds light-cured and 24 hours self-cured two dual cured resin cement (Duo-cement (Bisco, USA) and 2 Panavia-F (Kuraray, Japan)) samples were prepared as control group. Also cavities (1 mm in width, 1 mm in depth and 12 mm in length) were prepared using acrylic plate and aluminum bar, and flowable composite resin was flied and light cured by the diffused light from the fiber post's side wall. The degree of polymerization was measured according to the distance from curing light using Vickers' hardness test. Result: Within the limitation of this study, the following conclusions were drawn: 1. Vickers' hardness of light cured dual cured resin cement and flowable composite resin decreased from Panavia-F, Filtek-Flow and Duo-cement accordingly (p<0.05). In the dual curing resin cement, light curing performed group showed higher surface hardness value than self cured only group (p<0.05). 2. Surface hardness ratio (light cured through fiber post /directly light cured) of D.T. Light-Post using Filtek-Flow showed about 70% in the 6 mm deep and about 50% in the 12 mm deep FRC Postec showed only 40% of surface hardness ratio. 3. Surface hardness ratio by diffused light from the post's side wall showed about 50% at 6 mm and 9 mm deep, and about 40% at 12 mm deep in D.T. Light-Post. However, FRC Postec showed about 40% at 6 mm deep, and almost no polymerization in 9 mm and 12 mm deep.
