Recently, there has been a growing interest in intolerance of uncertainty (IU) as a transdiagnostic risk factor for various men tal disorders. However, no consensus has been reached on the components that comprise IU. Considering that while the rela tionship between IU and internalizing symptoms such as anxiety and depression has been well-established, a dearth of stud ies elucidates how each IU component is specifically related to anxiety and depression. Given its close relationship to internal izing symptoms, understanding the distinct correlations between each IU facet and internalizing symptoms becomes pivotal for effective interventions. Therefore, this study conducted a network analysis to delineate IU structure and how each compo nent is related to state/trait anxiety and depression. Using the Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale (IUS), the most central item, structure, and relationship within the scale were identified. The relationship between IU and internalizing symptoms was also examined and the clinical implications of each result are discussed.

Purpose: While digital transformation has become a necessary trend for hospitals, it imposes technostress(TS) on nurses working on the healthcare front lines. According to previous research, it increasesconflict between nurses and patients, but the mechanism and age difference are ignored. Methods: A total of 672 nurses were recruited from five hospitals in Liaoning Province, China. Networkanalysis was adopted to analyze the network characteristics among TS, job burnout (BO), and workengagement (WE), as well as to compare gender differences. Results: The expected influence of techno-induced invasion of privacy was highest for nurses agedbelow the age of 40 (±1.15), while techno-induced role ambiguity was more significant for those agedabove 40 years (±0.98). The betweenness of BO was highest (emotional exhaustion = 1.34 andcynicism = 1.77). For nurses aged below 40, the betweenness of cynicism was higher (2.06) than that ofolder nurses, and it had a negative association with dedication (W = ?? .08). Conversely, for older nurses, the betweenness of cynicism was higher (1.27) compared to nurses below 40 and was negativelyassociated with absorption (W = ?? .06). Conclusion: (1) Younger nurses suffer more from invasion of privacy, while older nurses are moreconcerned about role ambiguity. (2) Technostress is positively and directly associated with BO and hasan indirect negative relationship with WE through BO. (3) Controlling cynicism is more important foryounger nurses, while emotional exhaustion is more important for older nurses. This research helps inunderstanding the complex interrelationships and helps hospital administrators to better addressnurses' stress and adapt targeted strategies during digital transformation.

Purpose: Ankle pump exercises (APE) have been widely used in clinical practice. However, best practices for APE have not been established. Recognize the most effective frequency of APE for improving lower extremity hemodynamics and establish recommendations in clinical practice. Methods: Therefore, a systematic review and network meta-analysis (NMA) was performed according to PRISMA-NMA. Six English databases (Pubmed, Medline, CINAHL, Embase, the Cochrane library and ProQuest) and four Chinese databases (CNKI, Wanfang, VIP and Sinomed) were searched. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and quasi-experimental studies investigating the effects of different frequencies of APE on lower limb hemodynamics published before July 2022 were included. The reference list was also searched. Seven studies (one RCTs and six quasi-experimental studies) were included in the systematic review and five studies (one RCTs and four quasi-experimental studies) were included in the NMA. The risk of bias was assessed using the Cochrane and Joanna Briggs Institute tools. The NMA was performed using the R software (version 4.2.1) and OpenBUGS (version 3.2.3). Results: The results of the NMA showed that a frequency of every 3e4 s the most effective in improving lower extremity hemodynamics (P ¼.85), followed by every 1e2 s (P ¼ .81), every 5e6 s (P¼.32) and less than every 10 s (P ¼.02). Subgroup analysis failed to find a difference between healthy participants and those with unilateral total hip arthroplasty or fracture (MD ¼ A0.23, 95% CI-5.92 to 4.61). Conclusions: Consequencely, for adult patients, with or without lower extremity disease, a frequency of every 3e4 s can be recommended as the optimal frequency of APE in clinical care practice.

In this paper, we mathematically analyze bit-error rate (BER) and diversity order of physical-layer network coding (PNC) scheme in the two-way relay channel (TWRC) under the assumption of multiple antennas at relay node. We assume the quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) modulation for simple data transmission in IoT applications, and max?min transmit antenna selection (TAS) scheme in the broadcast (BC) phase for achieving full diversity gain. In particular, we obtain the upper bound of BER at the multiple access (MA) phase, while deriving the exact BER performance at the BC phase. To the best our knowledge, the mathematical analysis in this paper is the first analytical results in the literature. Through computer simulations, the analytical results are validated.

Due to the sensitivity of the information required to detect network intrusions efficiently, collecting huge amounts of network transactions is inevitable and the volume and details of network transactions available in recent years has been high. The meta-heuristic anomaly based assessment is vital in an exploratory analysis of intrusion related network transaction data. In order to forecast and deliver predictions about intrusion possibility from the available details of the attributes involved in network transaction. In this regard, a meta-heuristic assessment model called the feature correlation analysis and association impact scale is explored to estimate the degree of intrusion scope threshold from the optimal features of network transaction data available for training. With the motivation gained from the model called “network intrusion detection by feature association impact scale” that was explored in our earlier work, a novel and improved meta-heuristic assessment strategy for intrusion prediction is derived. In this strategy, linear canonical correlation for feature optimization is used and feature association impact scale is explored from the selected optimal features. The experimental result indicating that the feature correlation is has a significant impact towards minimizing the computational and time complexity of measuring the feature association impact scale.
