중국철학에서 유학은 세계 여러 철학 중 하나로, 중국문화 정신을 압 축하고 중국인의 사고방식을 대표하는 독특한 스타일의 사상 체계이다. 중국 무술은 유구한 역사를 자랑한다. 역사가 보여주듯이, 중국무술과 유학의 문화적 상호 작용은‘무이성인(武以成人)’을 형성하는 주요 원 천이다. 그 사상적 내함에는 심오한 철학 사상과 문화적 저력이 담겨 있 으며, 주로‘이예관덕(以禮观德)’의‘성기지도(成己之道)’와‘협의늠름 (侠義凛然)’의‘성물지도(成物之道)’로 구현되어 궁극적으로 ‘무이성 인(武以成人)’의 무도를 형성한다. 오늘날까지도 이러한 유학 사상의 지혜는 여전히 중요한 교육적 의미를 지니고 있다.

Chinese philosophy (Confucianism) is one of the world's diverse philosophies. It encapsulates the essence of Chinese culture and represents the Chinese way of thinking, forming a unique and distinctive system of thought. Chinese martial arts, with their long and rich history, have been deeply intertwined with Confucianism. This cultural interaction has significantly shaped the concept of "Wu Yi Cheng Ren”(武以成人), which emphasizes personal development through martial arts. This concept embodies profound philosophical ideas and cultural heritage, mainly manifested in the "Cheng Ji Zhi Dao" (成己之道), the path of self-cultivation through observing propriety and virtue, and the "Cheng Wu Zhi Dao”(成物之道), the path of benefiting others with chivalry and courage. Ultimately, these paths lead to the "Wu Yi Cheng Ren” philosophy of martial arts. Even today, the wisdom embedded in these Confucian ideas holds significant educational value.

水雲 崔濟愚의 侍天主는 천주의 초월성이 강조되면서 내재성이 있으면서 이에 근거한 종교적 인간관이었는데 海月 崔時亨과 義菴 孫秉熙의 이르러 천주라는 용어는 주로 천으로 바뀌게 되었다. 더욱이 천의 초월성 보다 내재성이 보다 강조된 점이 변화이다. 수운의 시천주는 해월에 이르러 人是天, 의암에 이르러 人乃天으로 변화하게 되었던 것이다. 해월과 의암에 이르러 인간의 주체성이 보다 강조되었던 것이다. 물론 수운에게서도 인간의 주체성이 나타난 것이 특징이지만 여전히 천주의 초월성이 강조된 점이 그들과 다른 것이었다. 또한 해월과 의암의 인내천에서도 천주의 초월성이 완전히 사라진 것은 아니었다. 의암의 인내천은 이돈화에 의하여 천의 초월성이 완전히 사라지고 오직 내재성만이 남아있게 된다. 이러한 변화는 의암이 젊은 동학교도들은 일본에 유학을 보냈고 당시 사회진화론, 범신론 등의 영향을 받으면서 일어났던 것이라고 할 수 있다. 특히 이돈화는 포이엘바하의 극단적 범신론의 영향을 받게 되면서 그 같은 변화가 일어났다고 할 수 있다.
