본 연구는 환경동태성이 기업의 제품혁신에 미치는 영향과 그 기저 메커니즘 탐구를 위해, 내부 기술지식창출과 외부 기술지식습득의 매개 효과분석에 초점을 맞추었다. 중국 소재 제조 업 중소기업을 대상으로 한 설문조사 데이터를 분석한 결과, 환경동태성은 제품혁신에 긍정적 인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 내부 기술지식창출과 외부 기술지식습득 모두 환경동태 성과 제품혁신 간의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 내부 기술지식창출은 외부 기술지식슥득을 통해 제품혁신에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 이중 매개효과를 보였으며, 이러한 내·외부 지식확보경로들이 환경동태성과 제품혁신의 관계를 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 흥미롭게도 외부 기술지식습득의 매개효과가 내부 기술지식창출의 매개효과보다 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 동태적 환경속에서 기업의 제품혁신 향상을 위한 기술지식 창출 및 관리 전략에 중요한 시사점을 제공해 준다.

This study investigates the impact of environmental dynamism on firms' product innovation and the underlying mechanisms, focusing on the mediating effects of internal technological knowledge creation and external technological knowledge acquisition. Analyzing survey data from manufacturing SMEs in China, the results of the study show that environmental dynamism positively influences product innovation. Both internal technological knowledge creation and external technological knowledge acquisition were found to mediate the relationship between environmental dynamism and product innovation. Additionally, internal technological knowledge creation exhibits a double mediating effect on product innovation through external technological knowledge acquisition, and these three internal and/or external knowledge securing pathways were found to fully mediate the relationship between environmental dynamism and product innovation. Interestingly, the mediating effect of external technological knowledge acquisition was found to be greater in size than that of internal technological knowledge creation. These findings provide important implications for technological knowledge management strategies in dynamic environments to enhance firms' product innovation.
