The study was undertaken to investigate the change of cardiac com-pression force relative to levels of information provision using compo-nents of ground reaction force. Male participants of 20s–30s (n=10) who was not trained on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and used an automated external defibrillator carried out CPR using manikin on ground reaction force plate. All executed 30 times the CPR according to the levels (1-time viewing, repeated viewing, and basic life support edu-cation) of information provision and then total sample of 300 times of ground reaction force data was utilized for the analysis. Rather basic life support condition than 1-time viewing and repeated viewing in ve-locity of CPR showed better pattern, and executed within 15.09 sec of total elapsed time. Also rather basic life support condition than 1-time viewing and repeated viewing in vertical compression force during re-lease phase showed better relax-ability. Rather basic life support con-dition than 1-time viewing and repeated viewing in ground reaction force of anterior-posterior direction during contraction phase was in-significant, and reduced compression force toward the oblique direc-tion. Therefore CPR training should be provided as part of cardiac and exercise rehabilitation programs in range of limited scope. It is neces-sary to include not only definite information but also a practice course of CPR to enhance the survival rate of the cardiac arrested regardless of progressive and scientific growth of CPR fields.

The aim of the study was to analyze the cardiac compression force us-ing the vertical force with normalized (100%) in cardiopulmonary resus-citation. Nineteen subjects with basic life support license and instructor career participated in this study. Cardiac compression was performed in a situation positioned practical manikin on ground reaction force and with 1,000 Hz of sample rate. Cardiac compression force in vertical di-rection showed significant difference among 30 times cardiac com-pression. Vertical cardiac compression force (N) showed significant difference according to the 30 times of cardiac compression in each di-astole (45.79 N) and systole (714.38 N) phase. Also, normalized vertical force showed significant difference according to the 30 times cardiac compression in each diastole (6.80%) and systole (93.20%) phase. This suggests that there is a greater difficulty in performing diastole forces close to 0% than performing a sufficient maximal cardiac compression force in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

MMH(Manual Material Handling)와 관련되어 최근 요통질환으로 인한 요양신청이 크게 증가하는 추세에 있다. 본 연구에서는 Lifting 작업시 적용되는 중요 요소들 중 수평거리가 변함에 따른 IEMG 값을 이용하여 EMG 변화를 살펴보았다. 좌ㆍ우 EMG 값간에는 유의한 차이가 없었으며, 수평거리 35cm와 55cm간에는 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이는 수평거리가 길어질 경우 척추기립근의 동원량이 증가한다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 요추부의 부담도를 줄이기 위해 수평거리를 줄이는 것이 요통예방을 위해 무엇보다 중요한 것이라 하겠다. 인체측정치와 EMG 값 사이의 상관관계에서는 35cm일 때 키, 가슴둘레, 허리둘레 등이, 55cm일 때 체중, 몸통너비, 허리두께, 손바닥폭 등이 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effectiveness of the modified distraction osteogenesis (DO) method with the concept of overdistraction and compression stimulation which have been previously suggested by the authors in 2002 and to explore the optimal distraction-compression ratio and appropriate latency period for the compression force application during consolidation. The experimental specimens were assessed with radiography, histologic findings, and dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) after the conventional DO method and the modified DO technique had been applied on rat mandibles. Total 60 rats were used for the study. In experimental group of 54 adult rats, mandibular osteotomies between the first and second molar areas were performed and customized external distractors were applied. The surgeries on 6 rats of control group also were done with same osteotomy technique and DO device application. Final amount of distraction was set-up as 2 mm on both groups. But, in a experimental group of 54 rats, distraction osteogenesis with a compression force were performed with the different distraction-compression ratio and variant latency periods for compression. The three ratio-subgroups were made as distraction 4 mm group with compression 2 mm, distraction 3 mm group with compression 1 mm, and distraction 2.5 mm group with compression 0.5 mm. In addition, The three subgroups with 3, 7, 11 days latency period prior compression were allocated on each ratio-subgroups. Total 9 subgroups consisted of 6 rats on each subgroup. In control group of 6 rats, conventional distraction technique were routinely performed. The rats of control groups were sacrificed on postoperative 3, 6 weeks after 2 mm distraction. The rats in the experimental groups also were sacrificed on the same euthanasia days of control groups to compare the wound healing. Final available specimens were 55 rats except 5 due to osteomyelitis, device dislodgement. Distraction-compression combined group on 6 weeks generally had showed increased bone mineral density than the same period group of conventional distraction technique on the DEXA study. More matured lamellar bone state and extended trabecular pattern in the combined group than those of control group were also observed in the histologic findings on 6 weeks. In the distraction-compression combined groups, the bone density of 2.5 mm distraction subgroups with 0.5 mm compression showed the highest value on the DEXA study among various force ratio groups. In the distraction-compression combined groups, the bone density of 3 day latency period subgroups showed the highest value on the DEXA study among various latency period groups for the compression application. From this study, we could deduce that 1/5 force ratio for the compression versus distraction, 3 day latency period prior compression application would be the most effective condition if modified distraction osteogenesis technique might be applicable. The modified DO method with a compression force may improve the quality of bone regenerate and shorten total treatment period in comparison with conventional DO technique clinically.

In this paper, to increase the utilization of uranium resources contained in the spent fuel, the spent fuel is reused. for this, the spent fuel is dismantled or spent fuel rod is extracted from the spent fuel assembly. Therefore, to achieve the performance of compacting the spent fuel assembly, we proposed the controller consisting of adaptive and fuzzy with teaming algorithm. In order to show the performance of proposed algorithm compares, we compared the controller with conventional controller in plant.

한국의 유방 질환에 대한 유방촬영술의 방법은 서구의 방법과는 연령에 따라 다양하고 신중하게 시행되어야 한다. 유방암 발생율이 급속히 증가되면서 조기진단을 목적으로 유방촬영술의 검사건수가 증가되어가고 있다. 우리나라 여성의 30세 이상 60세 이하를 대상으로 유방촬영술이 내사위촬영과 상하촬영에서 유방의 두께와 압력을 측정하였다. 유방촬영술에 필요한 압력과 두께의 기초 자료를 제공하여, 선예도와 해상력이 높은 진단적 가치가 있는 영상을 만드는데 목적을 두고자 한다. 204명을 대상으로 한 연령대별의 분포에서 30대는 64명(31.4%), 40대와 50대는 70명(34.3%)이었다. 압력에서 내사위촬영과 상하촬영 모두 50대가 가장 높았고, 40대, 30대 순으로 측정되었다. 전체 평균은 내사위촬영 14 daN, 상하촬영 13.88 daN으로 내사위촬영이 조금 높았다. 두께에서는 내사위촬영과 상하촬영 모두에서 50대가 40대, 30대에 비해 두껍게 측정되었고, 전체 평균은 내사위촬영 41.46 mm, 상하촬영 39.50 mm로 내사위촬영이 상하촬영보다 두꺼웠다.
The purpose of this study was to compare the compression force and thickness of the compressed breast between mediolateral oblique and craniocaudal mammography. This population consisted of 204 paired mediolateral oblique and craniocaudal mammography obtained on one mammographic unit by certified mammography technologists during 2 month period. The women examined were $30{\sim}59$ years old with breast implants, the patients were classified into 3 groups according to age, $30{\sim}39$, $40{\sim}49$, and $50{\sim}59$, prior breast cancer, mastectomy or breast deformity were excluded. The digital readout of compressed breast compression force and thickness was recorded. Mammographic positioning was assessed using standard criteria. The mean compression force of the compressed breast on the craniocaudal projection was less than the mean compression force on the mediolateral projection(14 versus 13.88 daN, p<0.05). The mean thickness of the compressed breast for mediolateral projection was 41.46 mm and that for the craniocaudal projection was 39.50 mm(p<0.05). The compressed breast is higher or thicker on mediolateral oblique than on craniocaudal mammography.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the biomechanical, histologic findings of distracted regenerate and TMJ response in modified distraction osteogenesis (DO) technique combined with compression force as biomechanical stimulation method which has been suggested in 2002, and developed thereafter by authors. This study was performed with two experiments. First experiment was designed to explore the optimal ratio of compression force versus distraction force for the new DO technique. Second experiment was planned to evaluate the reaction of TMJ tissue, especially condyle, disc after application of the DO technique with compression force. Total 52 New Zealand adult male-rabbits with 3.0kg body weight were used for the study. For the first study, 30 adult male-rabbits underwent osteotomy at one side of mandibular body and a external distraction device was applied on each rabbit with same manner. In the control group of 10 rabbits, final 8 mm of distraction with 1 mm rate per day was done with conventional DO technique after 5 latency days. For the experimental group of 20 rabbits, a compression force with 1 mm rate per day was added to the distracted mandible on 3-latency day after over-distraction (over-lengthening). As the amount of the rate of compression versus distraction, experimental subgroup I (10 rabbits) was set up as 2 mm compression versus 10 mm distraction (1/5) and experimental subgroup II (10 rabbits) was set up as 3 mm compression versus 11 mm distraction (about 1/3). All 30 rabbits were set up to obtain final 8 mm distraction and sacrificed on postoperative 55 day to analysis on biomechanical, and histologic findings of the bone regenerates. For second study, 22 adult male-rabbits were used to evaluate TMJ response after the DO method application with compression force. In the control group, 10 rabbits was used to be performed with conventional DO method, on the other hand, in a experimental group of 10 rabbits, 10 mm distraction with 2 mm compression (1/5 ratio) was done. The remaining 2 rabbits served as the normal control group. Histomorphologic examinations on both condyle, histological studies on condyle, disc were done at 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 weeks after distraction force application. The results were as follows: 1. On the bone density findings, the experimental group II (force ratio - 1/3) showed higher bone density than the other experimental group (force ratio - 1/5) and control group (control group - $0,2906\;g/cm^2$, experimental group I - $0.2961\;g/cm^2$, experimental group II - $0.3328\;g/cm^2$). 2. In the histologic findings, more rapid bone maturation like as wide lamellar bone site, more trabeculae formation was observed in two experimental groups compared to the conventional DO control group. 3. In morphologic findings of condyle, there were no differences of size and architecture in the condyle in the control and experimental groups. 4. In histologic findings of condyles, there were thicker fiberous and proliferative layers in experimental group than those of control group until 2 weeks after distraction with compression force. But, no differences were seen between two groups on 3, 4, 7 weeks after compression. 5. In histologic findings of disc, more collagen contents in extracellular matrix, more regular fiber bundles, and less elastin fibers were seen in experimental group than control group until 2 weeks after distraction with compression. But, no differences were seen between two groups on 3, 4, 7 weeks after distraction with compression. From this study, we could identify that the new distraction osteogenesis technique with compression stimulation might improve the quality of bone regeneration. The no remarkable differences on TMJ response between control and experimental groups were seen and TMJ tissues were recovered similarly to normal TMJ condition after 3 weeks.

The objective of this study is to conduct the prevention method using electromyography that is to resist the strain on L5/S1 disc and to measure the heart rate for the prevention of low back pain during lifting. EMG signals and heart rate were analyzed under the condition of fixed vertical factor (20∼80cm), two horizontal factors (35cm, 55cm), and two weight factors (10kg, 25kg) 2 times per minute for each lifting task. Eight healthy male workers performed nine-step stretching exercises which were intensified back power at the L5/S1 disc for six months. After completion of the two trials, the results were compared. The results of this analysis show that EMG signals have more an effect on the weight than the horizontal factors similar to those analyzed previous study, and are decreased. Therefore, those exercises presented very efficient. Also, there are not statistically significant differences on the analysis result of heart rate between weight factors.

This study evaluated the compression force at the L5/S1 disc using EMG(Electromyography). EMG signals were analyzed under the condition of fixed vertical factor (20Cm∼80Cm), two horizontal factors (35Cm, 55Cm), and two weight factors (10Kg, 25Kg) 2 times per minute for each posture. Also, the result was compared with the compression force of each posture which computated by the equation of NIOSH(National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) guide to manual lifting(1991). The experimental result show that EMG signals have more an effect on the Weight than the Horizontal factors. Also, there are not significant differences on the analysis result of EMG signals between Health members and not, because the body buildings which doing Health members are not enhanced the motor unit due to the MMH(Manual Material Handing).

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of levels of education on ground reaction force and center of pressure parameters during chest compression resuscitation. Method: Twenty male university students were divided into two groups; certified group (CG, n=10) and non-certified group (NCG, n=10). Two force plates were used to measure ground reaction force and center of pressure parameters during 30 times (three trials) chest compression resuscitation. Independent t-tests were used to compare ground reaction force and center of pressure parameters between two groups. An alpha level of 0.05 was used in all tests. Results: All chest-compression time parameters (total time, 1 systolic time, and diastolic time) in CG were significantly shorter than those in NCG (p<.05). Fy of the diastolic and Fz of the systolic in CG revealed significantly the larger GRF values and Fy of the systolic in CG showed significantly the smaller GRF value (p<.05). The standard deviation of Fz of the systolic and diastolic within the subject during 30 times chest-compression resuscitation revealed significantly the smaller values in CG (p<.05). Conclusion: First, CG performed chest compressions efficiently at an appropriate rate compared to NCG. Second, CG showed lower Fx and Fy values in both the mediolateral and anteroposterior axes compared to NCG, which reduced unnecessary chest-compression force consumption and minimized the movement in patients with cardiac arrest. Third, CG showed high Fz value of the systolic and low Fz value of the diastolic. Based on this, chest compression resuscitation was performed to increase the survival rate of cardiac arrest patients.
