본 연구의 목적은 지역혁신을 위한 지역대학의 평생교육 플랫폼 역할을 지역 문화역량 기반 협력 구조를 중심으로 탐색하는 데 있다. 연구방법은 RISE·글로컬대학 정책자료와 선행연구를 검토하고, 일본의 지역문화 기반 협력 사례를 참조 사례로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 지역대학은 문화자산과 주민 경험을 학습자원으로 전환하고 지역문제 해결형 학습활동을 지원하는 플랫폼으로 기능할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 성공요인은 신뢰 기반 네트워크, 코어그룹 및 퍼실리테이터, 문화역량 기반 학습자원화이며, 장애요인은 보이지 않는 경계, 구조적 공백, 퍼실리테이터 부족, 제도적·행정적 지원의 한계이다. 본 연구는 문화역량 관점에서 대학 평생교육 기능을 확장했으며, 향후 실증연구가 필요하다.

This study explores the role of local universities as lifelong education platforms for regional innovation, focusing on cooperation structures based on local cultural capacity. A literature review of RISE and Glocal University policy documents and previous studies was conducted, and Japanese cases of culture-based regional cooperation were examined as reference cases. The findings show that local universities can function as platforms that transform cultural assets and residents’ experiences into learning resources and support community-based problem-solving learning. Key success factors include trust-based cooperative networks, core groups and facilitators, and the learning-resource conversion of cultural capacity. Major barriers include invisible boundaries among actors, structural holes, lack of facilitators, and insufficient institutional and administrative support. This study expands the lifelong education role of local universities from a cultural-capacity perspective and suggests the need for future empirical research.

본고는 광주대학교의 3대 핵심역량과 비교과 교육목표를 함양해 나가는 데 필요한 다채로운 지역 사회 연계 비교과 프로그램의 운영 결과 사례를 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 재학생들이 재학 기간 내에 다양한 비교과 프로그램 활동 경험을 토대로 구체적인 진로 설계와 취업 역량을 함양해 나가는 데 필요한 프로그램 설계를 위한 기초 연구로서의 성격을 가진다. 외국인 유학생의 경우, 지역 사회 연계 비교과 프로그램의 참여는 지역 사회를 이해하고 한국의 학문 문화를 이해하는 데 많은 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 비교과 프로그램의 참여를 통해 다양한 국적과 다양한 전공의 학습자들이 소통할 수 있는 기회의 마련은 대학 생활에 즐거움을 느끼는 요소로 작용할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 앞으로 전공과 교양 과목 연계 비교과 프로그램과 다양한 전공자들이 어울릴 수 있는 지역 사회 연계 비교과 프로그램의 체계적인 교육과정 마련을 통해 학습자들이 지역 사회를 이해하고 더 나아가 지역 사회에서 자신들의 전공을 어떻게 접목해 나갈 수 있을지에 대한 설계를 해 볼 수 있기를 바란다.

The purpose of this study is to present cases of various community- engaged co-curricular programs that are necessary to foster Gwangju University's three core competencies and co-curricular educational objectives. This research has the nature of a basic study for designing programs that will enable students to cultivate specific career plans and job skills based on their experiences in various co-curricular program activities during their enrollment. For foreign exchange students, participation in community-engaged co-curricular programs was found to be very helpful in understanding the local community and the academic culture of Korea. In addition, the opportunity for learners from various nationalities and majors to communicate through participation in co-curricular programs can serve as an enjoyable element of university life. It is hoped that through the establishment of a systematic educational process for co-curricular programs that are linked to major and general education subjects and that enable diverse majors to collaborate with each other, learners will be able to understand the local community and design ways to apply their majors in the community.
