In ancient East Asia, bronze mirrors were objects that enabled their creators and users to reflect their perceptions. Each ancient East Asian society interpreted and utilized the mirrors differently according to their needs. Instead of simply perceiving the Three Kingdoms Period’s bronze mirrors, especially Han-style bronze mirrors and Japanese bronze mirrors, as foreign artifacts, this paper aims to delve into the significance of the bronze mirrors in the Korean Peninsula during that time and examine how they were received and utilized by different communities. Southern Korean Peninsula during the 4th~6th centuries, which were part of the Three Kingdoms Period, is first sorted into five regions based on topography, water systems, and political entities. Next, the excavated context of bronze mirrors from each region is examined to study how these mirrors were buried and disposed of. The significance of bronze mirrors within ancient East Asian societies is, then, used as a reference to infer the importance of the mirrors within Korean communities during the Three Kingdoms Period. In conclusion, bronze mirrors were not in high demand within various Three Kingdoms Period societies on the Korean Peninsula unlike within the societies that existed in other parts of ancient East Asia. Furthermore, each society on the Korean Peninsula interpreted and utilized bronze mirrors in a unique way that aligned with its specific needs. This was dissimilar to practices observed in other ancient East Asian societies. The way an object is perceived varies from person to person. Sometimes, perceptions of objects are shared, reproduced, and diffused throughout societies. At other times, the perceptions slowly fade away. Through examining bronze mirrors, this paper demonstrates that a type of object can be received and utilized in diverse ways depending on the context of time and space.

The purpose of this study is to construct a pattern database of pipes and cavities buried in the ground to prevent ground subsidence. To do this, it developed a pattern template algorithm using Open CV and applied it to the results of GPR detection results of tank. As a result, proper pattern database construction was possible. Since the results of this study are based only on limited experimental results, it is expected that more realistic data will be constructed if various field data and detection results of large test beds are supplemented in the future.

Through an analysis on the status quo of tea bowls with haemuri-gup being buried in some tombs of Early Goryeo Dynasty, this study aimed to identify this type of tea bowl’s expansion process and route, and to identify its user class's characteristics and its meaning being used as a burial goods on the basis of such analysis. By tracking the trace that the material culture of tea bowl with haemuri-gup left even not including any direct record about this type of tea bowl, this thesis tried to analyze the implications of the type of tew bowl with haemuri-gup from several aspects. Tea bowls with haemuri-gup as a tea bowl type representing Early Goryeo Dynasty were produced mainly around the type of tea bowl with ‘a circle-carved inner-bottom surface style haemuri-gup’ being referred as so-called Korean style since the late 10C. At this time, the areas producing this type of tea bowl were expanded than previous times and this type of tea bowl began to be used as a main burial goods in local ruling-class’ tombs nationwide at the same time. Especially, the tea bowls with ‘circle-carved inner-bottom surface style haemuri-gup’ are mainly excavated from stone chamber tombs that spent relatively higher cost and large-scale manpower, so this thesis could recognize the class having this type of tomb’s social status and personality from buried goods. Besides, tea bowl with haemuri-gup was functionally belonged to a component of tea service, so was related to the tea culture representing central government’s culture or high-class’ culture in Early Goryeo Dynasty, then from this type of tea bowls, one side showing the central government's culture was spread to local place at that time could be seen. This thesis guessed that various routes to transport materials all directions were formed thanks to the organized traffic route being represented as the marine transportation system and postal network system as well as the organized freight-transportation system, and the well-organized routes might be an important background having enabled the nationwide expansion of this tea bowls with haemuri-gup and even this type of tea bowl could be distributed even to local places. This thesis recognized that the tea bowl with haemuri-gup might not only be an important tool for high-class population in central government and local places in Early Goyreo Dynast to enjoy the tea culture, but also be functioned as a luxury good or an authority-boasting goods among local ruling class, especially. As the evidences justifying this argument, this thesis could give the facts that the kind of tomb having buried tea bowls with haemuri-gup was the stone chamber tomb securing substantial economic power and the tea culture was a limited culture for small population to spend, not a comprehensive culture for even general people to enjoy in early Goryeo Dynasty. Meanwhile, as the tea took an important role in the funeral procedure at that time, so it might be possible that the tea with haemuri-gup was selected, then this thesis considers that this possibility also implied that the tea culture and tea service had relatively high cultural statue in the society of Early Goryeo Dynasty.
