As a step forward and a necessary result of reforming, openning proccess, Vietnam has deeply consciousness about the strong influences of world’s cultures in Vietnam and the special importance of the inovation cultural values and increasing it torward mordenized and developed country. Vietnamese philosophical thoughts, which its role considers as the basic and the nucleus of culture, which one of its funtions is the reflecting about elittes of national spirit
itself on theorical level in order to rediscover, to innovate, to develop that national cultural values, have been specially considering to reconciouss and research in this period.
This paper investigates the appearance of “philosophy” category in nation’s history of knowledge, countes some significative results of first scholars in this Vietnamese philosophical thoughts of studies. It also presentes three maintly tendencies in the researching about Vietnamese philosophical thoughts nowaday, some of basis contents of it and several of chalenges to it in this period.
From the contents, which is mentioned above, the writer thinks that the examination and bringing into full play the national philosophy’s values, finding out a suitable philosophical methods and building a modern philosophy of Vietnam, which satisfies the requestes of developed nation, is the most important tasks of Vietnamese philosophical thoughts of studies nowaday.
