This study is aimed at clarifying the relationship between goal inclination and motives for learning of high schools majoring in dancing. The questionnaire used for this study is a test tool whose reliability and properness have already been verified by previous domestic and international studies. Here, some parts of the questionnaire was corrected according to the purpose of the study. Collected data excluding those considered insincere were analyzed using the Window SPSS 12.0 program following the purpose of the study. To analyze the data, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Reliability Analysis, Descriptive Statistics, One-way ANOVA, Two-way MANOVA, Frequency Analysis and Stepwise Multi Regression were used. Results of analysis of the relationship between purpose inclination and learning motives of high school students whose major is dancing using such methods are as follows. First, the inclination for goal to be achieved is somewhat differently injected according to lower factors for high school students learning motives but it partially accords with results of previous studies on the elationship between the inclination of goal to be achieved and learning motives of the four-factor structure. Second, regarding the profile following the inclination for goal to be accomplished, there are differences among groups in terms of the level of the students' learning motives. Group with higher goals had higher level of interior and exterior motives, while groups with higher performance- avoidance goal had higher level of non-motives.

본 연구는 무용전공 고등학생의 목표성향과 학습동기의 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 사용된 설문지는 국내외의 선행연구에서 이미 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도가 검증된 검사도구로서 본 연구의 목적에 맞도록 일부 문항의 내용들을 수정하여 사용되었다. 수집된 자료들은 불성실하다고 판단된 자료를 제외하고, Window용 SPSS 12.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 본 연구의 목적에 따라 분석되었다. 자료분석을 위한 분석기법은 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 기술통계, 일원변량분석, 이원다변량 분산분석, 빈도분석, 그리고 단계적 다중회귀분석을 사용하였다. 이러한 연구방법을 통하여 무용전공 고등학생의 목표성향과 학습동기의 관계를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성취목표성향은 무용전공 고등학생들의 학습동기 하위요인에 따라 다소 다르게 투입되지만, 4요인 구조의 성취목표성향과 학습동기간의 관계를 연구한 선행연구의 결과들과 부분적으로 일치하고 있다. 둘째, 성취목표성향에 따른 프로파일은 무용전공 고등학생들의 학습동기 수준에 있어 집단간 차이는 네 가지 목표가 모두 높은 집단일수록 내적동기와 외적 동기 수준이 높고 숙달-수행회피목표가 높은 집단일수록 무동기 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다.
