The purpose of this study is to examine the achievements of Korea's journal publications on dance movement therapy and to discuss upcoming problems. The 47 journal publications about dance movement therapy published in the country from 1992 to 2006 were chosen as the analysis subject for this study. The data was assorted according to the date of publication, research topic, reseach purpose, research method, research structure, therapy program structure, research subject, research period, research tool, and data analysis. The frequency analysis, crosstabulation analysis and content analysis was performed using MS Office Excel 2003. As a result, the theoretical concepts of dance movement therapy were generally well-described but the method of field experiment research which dance movement theory was applied to was rather inadequate. Moreover, there were a number of research papers that had some information regarding analysis methods omitted. Therefore, a proper understanding
of dance movement therapy is required to apply it to research and practical application of quality research methods that are suitable for dance movement therapy should be made. Lastly, quantitative research should be carried out in accordance with scientific procedures.

본 연구의 목적은 국내 학회지에 게제 된 무용/동작치료(DMT)에 관한 연구물에 대한 성과를 알아보고 이를 토대로 앞으로의 연구과제에 대해 논의 하고자 한다. 분석대상물은 1992년부터 2006년까지 국내에서 발간된 무용/동작치료 분야의 연구를 학술지로 발표한 47편 선정하였다. 자료 분류는 발표시기, 연구주제, 연구목적, 연구방법, 요법 프로그램 구성, 연구대상, 실험기간, 연구도구, 자료분석 방법으로 분류하여 MS Office Excel 2003을 통해 빈도분석, 교차분석 및 내용분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 무용/동작치료(DMT)에 대한 전반적인 이론적 개념은 대체로 잘 서술되어 있지만 무용/동작치료(DMT) 프로그램 적용을 한 현장 실험 연구의 방법이 대체로 미흡하고, 분석방법에 있어 정보가 누락된 연구물이 많았다. 따라서 무용/동작 치료의 올바른 이해를 토대로 연구에 적용해야 하며 무용/동작치료에 알맞은 질적 연구 방법을 활용시키고 과학적 절차에 따른 양적연구가 실행되어야 한다
