This study aims at proposing necessities of new application method of daylight condition in the residential area of the PUD. Now a days Chungcheong Province is in the period of rapid changes due to the setting of New Administration Complex Town, West Coastal Development Belt and the possibilities of movement of Provincial Office.
According to this revolutionary changes new town planning for these area has more important meanings than before, in that if we lose this good opportunities to make, renovate, remodel and develope old city or town, there will be no other chance to recover for ever. As a basic environmental condition, daylight takes major roles on the residential area. In this meaning we need to study the characteristics of daylight as to the influence out of the
illegal extension of balconies of houses, then to adopt these analysed results to the PUD for the efficiency of land use and proper development of density.
