It is necessary to cultivate the ability required by the times sufficiently to
raise the professionality for teachers. The education school has been started
as a part to meet the demand in this aspect. However, it is true that for
teachers in charge of the present times, necessity related to the social
position or authority in the aspect of educational right is gradually increased
rather than their capability or disposition.
In the aspect of teaching learning and coaching of teachers, who have
completed the 4-year bachelor's degree only in the modern society
characterized to be a highly-educated society, the social authority is
naturally decreased in the upward trend of parents's educational level. It is
difficult to see the authority and privileges of teachers as intellectuals, which
had been enjoyed by them in the past and as a result, teachers' social
authority is also gone. We can say that recently, the school degradation as
a great social issue, has something to do with the loss of teachers's social
authority.
More over, the advent of information age with internet threatens the
teacher's authority in the aspect of learning as the source of knowledge and
information. It is necessary to have the academic degree equivalent to at
least master's degree to keep the pride of teachers to answer the changes
of the times. The necessity to introduce the educational system to cultivate
teachers at the master's degree is discussed in the context of improving the
openness of teaching profession. The point of the discussion is that holders
of master's degree with profound knowledge in various learning fields can be
attracted to the teaching profession by operating the teacher cultivating
education at the level of graduate schools.
It is expected that it will be helpful to improve the specialty of teachers in
the aspects to foster those, who have systematically studied the
subject-related knowledge as teachers as well as to improve the openness
of teaching occupation by expanding the range of potential teachers.

교원에게 요구되는 전문성을 길러주기 위해서는 시대가 요구하는 능력을 충분히 길러줄 필요가
있다 이러한 차원의 욕구충족을 위한 일환으로 교육대학원이 시작되었다 그러나 현시대를 . . 책임지
고 있는 교사는 교사의 능력이나 자질보다는 교사의 교육권차원의 사회적 지위나 권위와 관련된
필요성이 점차 증대되고 있는 점도 사실이다.
고학력 사회로 특징지어지는 현대 사회에서 4년간의 학사학위 과정만을 이수한 교사의 교수 학
습 및 코칭 차원에서 학부모들의 학력수준 상향추세로 사회적 권위는 예전에 비해 떨어질 수밖에
없다. 과거에 교사가 누렸던 지식인으로서의 교권에 대한 권위는 찾아보기 어렵게 되었으며 결과
적으로 교사의 사회적인 교권에 대한 위신 역시 떨어지고 있다. 최근 크게 사회문제로 부각되었던
학교붕괴 현상은 어떤 점에서는 이와 같은 교사의 교육권에 대한 사회적 권위상실과도 무관하지
않다고 볼 수 있다.
이러한 측면의 변화에 대응한다는 가정 하에 본 연구는 우리나라 교육대학원의 상업정보교육전
공과정의 전반적인 문제점과 개선방안을 탐색하여 제시했다. 시대적 변화의 흐름에 부응하는 상업
정보교육을 실천하기위한 이론적 토대를 제공할 수 있는 유용성면에서 우리나라 상업정보교육에
미력하나마 공헌할 수 있을 것으로 생각하며, 특히 교육과정의 실태파악은 앞으로 보다 계획적인
연구로 보다 진일보하는 상업정보교육에 밑거름이 될 것이다.
