In modern society, the relationship among nations that have uneven development of politics and economy has become much closer as one world community and the interests of various
national groups are involved each other. Multi-culture education that focuses on understanding
of different national and international cultural groups from various viewpoint should be
considered systematically in ethics subject which helps people to live desirable life as both
Korean and world citizen.
Therefore this study suggests ethics teaching methods from the viewpoint of multi-culture
education so that students understand other culture and cultivate spirit, attitude, and behavior
necessary in living together; places its purpose on establishing foundation to find out effective
course of multi-culture education; examines its concept, background of origin, and the
relationship between multi-culture education and ethics; searches for teaching methods briefly
in actual ethics class on this basis.

세계가 하나의 공동체로서 정치 경제적 발전이 동등하지 않은 나라들 사이의 관계가 더욱 긴밀해지고 있고, 국내적으로도 다양한 집단별로 이해관계가 얽히어 있는 현대 사회에서 국내외의 서로 다른 문화집단들을 다양한 관점에서 이해하려는 다문화 교육은 한국인으로서 나아가 세계 시민으로서의 바람직한 삶을 살아가는데 도움을 주기 위한 교과인 도덕교과에서 체계적으로 다루어질 필요가 있다.
따라서 본 연구는 학생들로 하여금 도덕 수업을 통해 다른 문화를 이해하고 더불어 살아가는 데 필요한 의식과 태도 및 행동을 기르기 위해 다문화교육적 관점의 도덕 수업 방안을 제시하여 다문화 교육의 효율적 방향을 모색하는 기초로 삼고자 하는데 그 목적을 두고 다문화 교육의 개념및 등장 배경, 다문화 교육과 도덕교육과의 관련성을 살펴보고, 여기에 기초하여 실제 도덕과 수업에서의 수업방안을 간략하게 모색해 보았다.
