This study is to emphasize on the importance of the transition into first grade from kindergarten and have theoretical insights into the search of the next course for succeeding researches. For this study, I approached the study conceptually with the observation of students' transition experiences and then analyzed the research tendencies from the results of the study.
It showed that the transition into first grade from kindergarten gives huge influences on the rest of school days. Therefore, the educators should provide many kinds of educational materials to help students' successful transition.
Comprehensive studies in consideration of emotional, social, physical aspects and cognitive aspects as well should be conducted to make it possible.
In addition, a further research is necessary that is done through the eyes of kindergarteners so that the study reflects the true voices of the kids. Thus, in the succeeding research the same students, going through the transition from kindergarten to first grade, should be observed during the course of the study so that it provides the quality work done based on their true experiences.

이 연구는 유치원에서 초등학교 1학년으로의 전이(transition)의 중요성을 강조하고, 이에 관한 후속연구의 방향 탐색을 위한 이론적인 고찰로, 유치원에서 초등학교 1학년으로의 전이경험에 대해 개념적으로 접근해보고, 그에 관한 연구 경향을 분석해 보았다.
유치원에서 1학년으로의 전이경험은 아동들의 이후 학교생활에 큰 영향을 미치는 중요한 것으로, 각 교육주체들은 아동의 성공적인 전이를 위해서 여러 가지 교육적 도움을 제공해야 한다. 이를 위해서는 아동의 인지적 측면뿐 아니라 정서적, 사회적, 신체적 측면까지 종합적으로 고려한 연구가 필요하다. 또한 보다 실질적으로 아동의 경험세계에 접근하여 그들의 생생한 경험을 그들의 목소리를 담아낸 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 후속연구는 동일 아동을 대상으로 유치원에서부터 초등학교까지 동행 관찰하여 그들의 생활세계(life-world)에 접근한 질적 연구가 수행되어야 할 것이다.
