We have the recognition about the new nationalism between North and South Korea in the situation of not realizing the nation reconciliation. And now we live together migrant workers from all over the world. Therefore, the reunification of North and South Korea needs new aspects related to the Korean People and our people's unification and disruption in new circumstances where all members live. In these various situations, we must try to approach the reunification through the ground of our society. In these chain of course, we'll be sure of the sincerity for our reunification. Also, we have to make every effort for advancing bilateral relations and developing peaceful discussion to last social stability. In this thesis, therefore, I think that we'll prepare the new turning point for the direction of the integrated reunification discussion between North and South Korea or among South Koreans in open nationalism period of the influx of various members.

한국 사회는 분단된 상황이기에 완성적인 민족적 통일도 이루지 못하고 있다. 한편으로는 다양한 나라에서 온 새로운 구성원의 유입으로 개방적인 민족주의가 절실하게 요구되는 형편이다. 이 속에서 새로운 민족주의에 입각한 통일논의의 정립이 요구되고 있다. 이중적인 민족적 상황에서 통일문제는 우리 한민족은 물론이고 새로운 사회 구성원을 포함하여 논의되어야 하게 되었다. 이에 통일교육은 통일을 지향하는 사회 구성원들의 입장에서 재구조화와 재구성이 요구된다. 앞으로 통일교육 연구는 남북한, 해외동포 그리고 새로운 남한 사회의 구성원들이 상호 발전과 안정을 지속할 수 있는 논의 구조를 만들어야 한다. 이러한 관점에서 통일교육에서 민족 논리의 재구조화와 재구성이 요청된다. 즉, 본 연구자들은 보다 개방적인 열린 민족주의적 입장을 견지하면서 남북간, 남한 사회의 다양한 구성원간의 통합적인 통일교육에 대해 논하고자 한다.
