- This study examines the moderating effects of consumer involvement, prior expectancy and prior trust on the relationship between corporate complaint handling efforts and consumer satisfaction. Upon the analysis of empirical data, prior expectancy and prior trust are proved to be moderating variables except for consumer involvement in this study. But consumer involvement is found to have the direction on the relationship. So it is needed to further examine the moderating role of consumer involvement on the various contexts. The implications of the study, as well as for future research, are discussed.
