It is predicted that the expansion of the 5 day school week system will have various effects on
the school course curriculums. Especially the reduction of the frequency of the discretion activities(ex: special activities) and/or non-subject area is assumed to have direct and indirect influences; we practiced a demand forecast on how much the changes made on the frequency will influence the training activities. The demand forecast of the training activities were used as the material of the demand forecast of the training activities, analyzing the activity materials of 2001~2005, with the subjects who were the participants of the training activities at PYEONGCHANG NATIONAL YOUTH CENTER OF KOREA. As a result of the analysis, the
given condition of the youth training activities in last 5 years(2001~2005) happened to be the decrease factor in the demand forecast of training activities, rather than the changes of the 5 day system, and we could find out that we have the needs to correspond very actively. Therefore, we might need following plans in order to actively correspond. First, as 5 day school week went into effect, there must be a provision of the plan to make the activity programs more advanced and also the efforts to provide the highly enticed programs in order to deal with the decrease of the demand of training activities. Second, in order to prevent the decrease on the demand of the activities of youth training activities centers, it seems like there would be a need to use aggressive marketing strategies such as developing and advertising family or group programs.

청소년수련활동은 지난 1991년 청소년기본법이 제정된 이후 제도권내의 활동으로 자리잡아오면서 꾸준한 성장세를 이어왔지만 향후의 교육여건변화는 청소년수련활동에 어떠한 형태로든 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상됨에 따라 청소년수련활동이 향후 어떠한 방향으로 운영될 것인가를 예상해 보는 것은 매우 중요한 과제가 된다. 특히 자연권수련활동의 경우는 주로 학단형, 집단형 수련활동으로 이루어지고 있기 때문에 학생수련활동의 변화가능성에 더욱 영향을 받을 수 밖에 없다는 점에서 자연권수련활동의 수요변화를 집중적으로 예측을 해 보고자 하였다. 이에 수련활동의 수요예측은 국립평창의 청소년수련원의 수련활동 참가자를 대상으로 2001-2005년까지 수련원의 활동자료를 분석하여 수련활동 수요예측자료로 활용하였다. 분석결과 지난 5년간(2001-2005)의 청소년수련활동여건은 수련활동의 수요예측에 있어 약간의 감소추세를 보이고 있어 이에 적극적으로 대응해야 할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 이에 능동적으로 대처하기 위해서는 다음과 같은 방안이 적극 필요할 것으로 보인다. 첫째, 지금가지의 수련활동은 대집단중심, 그리고 학단중심으로 운영되어 왔지만 학교여건의 변화가 수련활동의 수요를 변화시킬 것으로 예상되어 수련활동의 수요는 접차 감소될 것으로 예측되었다. 둘째, 청소년수련활동기관의 활동수요감소를 방지하기 위해 가족 또는 집단형 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 홍보하는 등 적극적 마케팅방안을 구사해야 할 필요가 있을 것으로 보인다.
