Differences in Educational Needs for Infection Control Practices According to General Characteristics and Infection Exposure Experiences and Analysis of Training Priorities among 119 Paramedics
This study aimed to identify differences in educational needs for infection control practices according to the general characteristics and infection exposure experiences of 119 paramedics, and to determine educational priorities, thereby providing foundational data for the development of field-oriented infection control education programs. Data were collected from 151 paramedics working at 119 safety centers in the metropolitan area and analyzed using independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA, paired t-tests, the Borich needs assessment, and the Locus for Focus model. For all 22 infection control practice items, perceived job importance was significantly higher than current performance. Educational needs differed significantly according to age, education level, work experience, rank, experience transporting patients with suspected or confirmed infectious diseases, and infection exposure experience. The highest-priority educational topics identified were immediate and appropriate responses to unexpected exposure to blood or body fluids; team-based disinfection of ambulances and equipment; appropriate use of protective equipment and disinfection procedures during patient transport; understanding the impact of infection control practices on the safety of patients and paramedics; distinguishing among routes of infection transmission; and selecting appropriate personal protective equipment according to the route of transmission and level of exposure risk. These findings suggest that infection control education for 119 paramedics should focus on these priority areas and provide level-specific, tailored training that integrates knowledge with practical skills.

수도권 소재 119안전센터 구급대원 151명을 대상으로 하였고, 자료는 t-test, ANOVA, paired t-test, Borich 요구도 및 The Locus for Focus 모델로 분석하였다.

Ever since next generation convergence technology became one of the most important industries in the nation, computing professionals have encountered a growing number of challenges. Along with scholars and colleagues in related fields, they have gathered in avariety of forums and meetings over the last few decades to share their knowledge, experiences and the outcome of their research. These exchanges have led to the founding of the International Next-generation Convergence technology (INCA) on December 1, 2015. INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
