This study aims to explore the impact of digital utilization on life satisfaction and to prove the parallel dual mediation effect of social participation and efficacy on the relationship between digital utilization and life satisfaction among the people with disabilities. For this purpose, the secondary data of 2,185 disabled people from 2022 The Digital Divide Study was analyzed. The results of the study indicated that digital utilization was positively related to life satisfaction, social participation, and efficacy among the disabled, which revealed the higher level of digital utilization indicated higher social participation and efficacy and life satisfaction among the disabled. In addition, digital utilization had a significantly positive effect on the level of social participation, efficacy and life satisfaction, so digital utilization was a significant factor in explaining social participation, efficacy and life satisfaction among the disabled. Finally, social participation and efficacy had statistically significant parallel mediation effect on the relationship between digital utilization and life satisfaction, which indicated digital utilization impacted on life satisfaction directly and indirectly throughout both social participation and efficacy. Based on the findings, suggestions of promoting life satisfaction by improving digital utilization, social participation and efficacy among the disabled and recommendations of further study were provided.

본 연구는 장애인의 디지털 활용이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 탐색하고, 디지털 활용과 삶의 만족도 간 관계에서 사회참여와 효능감의 병렬 이중매개효과 검증을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해, 2022년 디지털정보격차 실태조사를 활용하여 장애인 2,185명의 2차 자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 장애인의 디지털 활용은 삶의 만족도와 사회참여, 효능감과 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 관계로 나타나, 장애인의 디지털 활용 수준이 높을수록, 사회참여와 효능감, 삶의 만족도 수준이 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 장애인의 디지털 활용은 사회참여와 효능감, 삶의 만족도에 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳐, 디지털 활용이 사회참여와 효능감, 삶의 만족도를 예측하는 중요한 요인으로 파악되었다. 마지막으로, 디지털 활용과 삶의 만족도 간 관계에서 사회참여와 효능감은 통계적으로 유의한 병렬 이중매개효과를 가지는 것으로 확인되어, 디지털 활용은 삶의 만족도에 직접적 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 사회참여와 효능감을 매개로 삶의 만족도에 간접적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 근거로, 장애인의 디지털 활용과 사회참여와 효능감증진을 통한 삶의 만족도 향상을 위한 방안과 추후 연구에 관해 제시하였다.
