Effects of Integrated Care Competence, Resilience, Role Conflict, and Role Ambiguity on Burnout among Community Health Nurses

- Purpose: This study aimed to identify the effects of integrated care competency, resilience, role conflict, and role ambiguity on burnout among community health nurses assigned to sub-district offices (Eup, Myeon, and Dong) in South Korea. Methods: This descriptive correlational study surveyed 223 public health nurses nationwide from November 21 to 25, 2025. Data collected via online surveys were analyzed using independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 30.0. Results: The significant factors affecting burnout were role conflict (β=.51, p<.001) and resilience (β=-.38, p<.001), explaining 31.4% of the total variance in burnout (F=51.69, p<.001). Conclusion: To mitigate burnout among public health nurses’ in community centers, it is essential to develop organizational strategies that reduce role conflict and intervention programs that enhance individual resilience
