This study examines the relationships between consumers' perceptions of AI-driven recommendation features and consumer purchase decisions in mobile short-video commerce. Drawing on expectation confirmation theory, it proposes that consumers' perceptions of AI-driven recommendation features are associated with expectation confirmation, which in turn is associated with shopping cart addition intention and immediate purchase intention. Using survey data and structural equation modeling, the results show that all four AIdriven recommendation features were positively associated with expectation confirmation, with history-based recommendation exhibiting the strongest relationship. Expectation confirmation was positively associated with both consumer purchase decisions, showing a stronger relationship with shopping cart addition intention. Multi-group analysis further revealed that the relationship between expectation confirmation and shopping cart addition intention was stronger for experience goods, whereas that with immediate purchase intention was relatively stronger for search goods.
