This study aims to analyze the expressive characteristics of the forms, colors, and surface textures of potatoes, corn, and apples, which are specialized agricultural products of Gangwon State, and to reinterpret these characteristics as fashion design elements. Based on this analysis, the study develops fashion textile designs and produces fashion item illustrations and fashion outfit illustrations incorporating the developed textile images. The research methods combine a literature review and practice-based research. The literature review examines the concept and current status of specialized agricultural products in Gangwon State, as well as generative AI and fashion illustration. In the practice-based research, the forms and structures, colors, and surface textures of potatoes, corn, and apples were analyzed to derive their expressive characteristics. Atypicality and irregularity were derived from the irregular forms and rough surface textures of potatoes. Repetitiveness and three-dimensionality were identified in the regular arrangement of corn kernels and the linear forms of corn leaves, while curviness and glossiness were derived from the rounded forms and smooth surfaces of apples. Based on these characteristics, prompts were designed using generative AI and revised through a review of how effectively the generated images reflected the forms, colors, and surface textures of each agricultural product. Through this process, 24 fashion textile designs were developed, and three fashion outfit illustrations were produced to present fashion items incorporating the developed textile images on digital models. The results demonstrate that the distinctive forms, colors, structures, and surface textures of potatoes, corn, and apples can be applied to the development of fashion textiles, fashion items, and fashion illustrations. The characteristics of these agricultural products were translated into fashion design elements and visualized as outfit images on digital models. This study is significant in extending the expressive characteristics of Gangwon State’s specialized agricultural products from fashion textile development to fashion items and fashion illustrations incorporating the developed textile images. The findings are expected to provide foundational design resources for future fashion cultural products and regionally based design content reflecting the distinctive characteristics and imagery of local agricultural products.

본 연구는 강원도 특화 농산물인 감자, 옥수수, 사과의 형태와 색채, 표면 질감에 나타나는 표현 특성을 분석하고, 이를 패션디자인 요소로 재해석하여 패션 텍스타일을 개발하고, 개발된 텍스타일 이미지를 적용한 패션 아이템 일러스트레이션과 패션 착장 일러스트레이션으로 제작하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구 방법은 문헌연구와 작품연구를 병행하였다. 문헌연구에서는 지역 특화 농산물의 개념, 강원도 특화 농산물의 현황과 패션 일러스트레이션과 생성형 AI를 고찰하고, 작품 연구에서는 연구 대상으로 선정한 감자, 옥수수, 사과의 형태 및 구조, 색채, 표면 질감을 바탕으로 표현 특성을 분석하였다. 감자의 표현 특성은 비정형적인 외형과 거친 표면의 질감에서 비정형성, 불규칙성 등이 도출되었다. 옥수수의 표현 특성은 알갱이의 규칙적인 반복 구조와 잎의 선형적 형태에서 반복성, 입체성 등을, 사과에서는 매끄러운 표면, 둥근 외형에서 곡선성, 광택성 등을 도출하였다. 도출된 특성을 활용하여 생성형 AI의 프롬프트를 설계하고, 생성된 이미지의 형태, 색채 및 표면 질감을 검토하며 프롬프트를 수정하여 패션 텍스타일 24종을 개발하였으며, 이를 반영한 패션 아이템과 모델 착장을 제시하는 패션 일러스트레이션 3점을 제작하였다. 연구 결과, 감자, 옥수수, 사과가 지닌 고유한 형태와 색채, 조직감과 표면 질감을 활용하여 차별화된 텍스타일과 패션 아이템, 패션 일러스트레이션의 개발이 가능함을 확인하였다. 농산물의 특성을 반영한 텍스타일 개발이 지역의 특색을 살리는 독창적인 패션디자인 요소로 활용될 수 있으며, 이를 반영한 패션 일러스트레이션 제작을 통해 디지털 모델 위에 착장 이미지로 구현하였다. 본 연구는 강원도 특화 농산물의 표현 특성을 패션 텍스타일 개발과 개발한 텍스타일 이미지를 반영한 패션 아이템, 이를 구현한 패션 일러스트레이션으로 확장하였다는 점에 의의가 있으며, 향후 지역의 특색과 농산물 이미지를 반영한 패션문화상품과 지역 기반 디자인 콘텐츠 개발을 위한 패션 일러스트레이션의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
