This conceptual review examines how role and responsibility boundaries are structured in dog grooming across key actors and workplace conditions. Literature on dog grooming and relevant adjacent fields was reviewed through four perspectives: information accessibility, foreseeability, controllability, and professional decision-making authority. Analysis identified four boundary domains involving behavior management, veterinary care, owner information relationships, and occupational safety. The grooming process was organized into four stages: pre-grooming information exchange, procedural response during grooming, post-grooming communication and professional referral, and record-based feedback. On-site observation and procedural adjustment were distinguished from diagnosis, treatment, and long-term behavioral intervention. The findings were integrated into a Responsibility Boundary Formation Model that examines information, risk recognition, response options, and professional authority without determining legal liability or negligence. Further empirical validation is required.
