This study comprehensively examines the extant editions of Daejeon Hwasang Joo Simgyeong (「大顚和尙注心經」), organizing their bibliographic characteristics and textual lineages. It also establishes the relationship between the Goryeo edition and the Munsusa edition through a comparative analysis of their printed texts. In particular, the study newly reveals that the copy held by the Cheongju Early Printing Museum contains printing pages from both the 1360 edition and the 1411 Munsusa edition.
Previously, only indirect evidence was available to suggest that the 1360 Goryeo edition, which predates the Munsusa edition, was produced in Korea. However, comparison with the copy held by the Cheongju Early Printing Museum provides conclusive evidence that it was a Korean edition and further confirms the strong possibility that it was the Munsusa edition.
