- Lim Solah’s fiction examines the structural contradictions of society that force the precariat into precarious labour conditions, and based on this basis, explores how to resolve these social contradictions. Additionally, regarding what contemporary fiction should address, her work rejects the novel writing subjected by norms. This study examines these two aspects, by drawing on Judith Butler’s theory concerning the relationship between norms, subjects, and others. It takes as its central text Lim Solah’s “Caring of Fruit Flies ” , while also attending to other works, and examines the characteristics and significance of precariat and novel writing in Lim Solah’s works. Chapter 2 focuses on the labour narrative to examine the precarious labour, life, and industrial accident as experienced by the precariat and figured as an other subjected by norms. In Chapter 3 examines the novel-writing narrative to analyse the process and significance of pursuit of a new novel desubjected by norms.

- 임솔아 소설에서 주목할 것은 두 가지이다. 먼저 프레카리아트 측면인데, 임솔아의 작품은 프레카리아트가 불안정한 노동 조건으로 내몰린 원인을 사회 구조적 모순과 관련해 고찰하고, 이를 바탕으로 사회 모순을 해결할 방법을 고민하고 있다. 다음, 현 단계 소설은 무엇을 쓸 것인가의 문제와 관련해, 임솔아의 작품은 규범에 길들여진 소설 쓰기를 거부하고 규범에 길들여지지 않는 새로운 소설 쓰기를 지향하고 있다. 이 두 측면을 살펴보기 위해 규범과 주체와 타자의 관계를 중심으로 한 주디스 버틀러의 이론에 주목하였다. 주체가 타자를 지배하는 폭력적인 이분법을 극복하기 위해서, 주체는 자기비판과 반성을 통해 폭력적인 보편규범을 비판하고 타자의 타자성을 인정하는 태도로 나아가야 한다. 한편 타자의 경우에는 길들여진 타자이기를 거부하고, 타자의 목소리로 보편규범과 그 규범을 수행하는 주체의 모순을 비판하는 하위 주체로 전회해야 한다. 2장에서는 노동 서사를 중심으로 규범에 길들여진 타자이자 프레카리아트의 불안정한 노동과 삶과 산재를 고찰하였다. 3장에서는 소설 쓰기 서사를 중심으로 규범에 길들여지지 않는 새로운 소설을 지향하는 과정과 그 의의를 고찰하였다.

- 한국문예창작학회(The Society of Korean Literary Creative Writing)는 한국 문학의 새 지평을 열기 위해 문예창작 이론과 문예교육 이론을 연구 계발하여 문 예창작의 새로운 방향을 제시하고자 조직한 학술단체입니다. 전국 대학과 대학원 문예창작 관련학과의 전·현직 전임교수·겸임(초빙)교수· 강 사·대학원 재학 이상자 및 문예창작인들이 회원으로 활동하고 있습니다. 학회의 목적에 적극적으로 동의하는 문학 관련 단체나 문학창작 동호인도 준회원으로 참 여하고 있습니다. 연 2회 학회지를 발간해 학문적 기반을 닦고 있으며, 정기적으로 학술 세미나 와 해외 문학 심포지엄 등 학술 발표회를 개최하여 학문적 교류와 토론의 장을 넓히고 있습니다. 한편으로, 문예창작 캠프·문학기행 등의 창작교육 활동과 창작 학습 행사를 수 시로 진행하면서, 창작·창작이론·창작교육에 관한 활동의 범위를 넓히고 있습니다. 별도로, 문예창작 교육을 받은 문예창작학도들의 진로 개발을 위해 '문예교육지도 교사 자격 시험'도 운영하고 있습니다. The Society of Korean Literary Creative Writing is a pure academic association for the literary cretive writing, and was organized on November 11, 2001 for the purpose of presenting the new direction of literary creative writing by studying all the methods to activate and develop the theories of literary creative writing and its education. Our society is composed of professors or ex-professors, some invited professor, lecturers, graduate students of the dept. of literary creative writing as regular members, and the persons interested in our program as associative members. Our society holds an annual academic meeting-- literary symposium, literary creative writing seminar-- and publishes the journal of our society and our members' anthology of literary works. Added to these, our society has already started a new project to open the way for our literary juniors by providing them with a certificate as a leader and holding a forum for literary creative writing.
