This exploratory study identifies recurring UI/UX design constraints in selected online support platforms and examines how women users perceive interface conditions associated with emotional expression and support interaction. Peanut(피넛), Girltelligence(걸스텔리전스), and TalkLife(톡라이프) were selected because they center on emotional disclosure and support interaction while incorporating SNS-derived interaction structures. The study combined heuristic evaluation based on Nielsen’s ten usability heuristics with semi-structured interviews involving fifteen women aged 22–37 with active SNS experience. Interview data were analyzed thematically, and themes were compared across platforms and cross-referenced with heuristic findings. The results identified issues related to audience visibility, user control, information architecture, interface density, and feedback structure. Participants associated highly visible or SNS-like interaction environments with hesitation and surface-level communication, while clearer information architecture and context-based interaction were perceived as more supportive of emotionally sensitive disclosure. Familiar SNS structures could reduce learning effort but did not necessarily create conditions suited to deeper emotional support. These results suggest that a support-oriented platform identity alone does not ensure an emotionally supportive user experience. The study therefore proposes clearer audience control, simplified information organization, lower-pressure interaction, and context-sensitive support mechanisms.
