This study conducted a keyword network analysis to examine the online perception structure of the ‘Rich Choi Family of Gyeongju (Gyeongju Choi Buja)’. The analysis was based on a total of 2,873 online documents, including web pages, blogs, news articles, online cafes, and Q&A posts collected from Naver and Daum portals over approximately two years, from July 1, 2024, to May 31, 2026. The analysis consisted of frequency analysis, N-gram analysis, centrality analysis, and CONCOR analysis. The results showed that ‘Gyeongju’ and ‘Buja’ (Rich) formed the central axis of the overall discourse, while keywords related to ‘Gyochon Village’, ‘travel’, ‘historic house’, ‘tradition’, ‘experience’, ‘spirit’, and ‘noblesse oblige’ appeared prominently. In the N-gram analysis, major word combinations included ‘Gyeongju-Buja’, ‘Gyeongju-Gyochon Village’, ‘Gyeongju-travel’, ‘Gyochon Village-Buja’, and ‘Buja-Academy’. The centrality analysis revealed that ‘Gyeongju’ and ‘Buja’(Rich) showed the highest values in degree centrality, closeness centrality, betweenness centrality, eigenvector centrality, and PageRank. In addition, ‘spirit’, ‘culture’, ‘historic house’, ‘tradition’, and ‘Choi clan’ appeared as mediating keywords that connected different areas of discourse. The CONCOR analysis classified the public discourse into four distinct semantic clusters: historical-culture and tourism resources, educational and humanistic values, noblesse oblige and practical values, and independence movement and social contribution. This study empirically demonstrates that the Rich Choi Family of Gyeongju is perceived not merely as a local tourist attraction but also as a symbolic resource associated with sharing, integrity, mutual prosperity, social responsibility, and local cultural branding. Furthermore, the findings suggest that the discourse on the Rich Choi Family can be reinterpreted as a discourse on community ethics, publicness, and practical social responsibility in contemporary Korean society.

본 연구는 ‘경주 최부자’에 대한 온라인 인식 구조를 파악하기 위해 2024년 7월 1일부터 2026년 5월 31일까지 약 2년간 네이버와 다음 포털에서 수집된 웹, 블로그, 뉴스, 카페, 지식인 자료 총 2,873건을 대상으로 키워드 네트워크 분석을 수행하였다. 분석은 빈도분석, N-gram 분석, 중심성 분석, CONCOR 분석으로 구성하였다. 분석 결과, ‘경주’와 ‘부자’가 전체 담론의 핵심축을 형성하였고, ‘교촌마을’, ‘여행’, ‘고택’, ‘전통’, ‘체험’, ‘정신’, ‘노블레스 오블리주’ 관련 키워드가 주요하게 나타났다. N-gram 분석에서는 ‘경주-부자’, ‘경주-교촌마을’, ‘경주-여행’, ‘교촌마을-부자’, ‘부자-아카데미’ 등이 상위 결합어로 확인되었다. 중심성 분석에서는 ‘경주’와 ‘부자’가 연결 중심성, 근접 중심성, 매개 중심성, 아이겐벡터 중심성, 페이지랭크 모두에서 가장 높은 수준을 보였으며, ‘정신’, ‘문화’, ‘고택’, ‘전통’, ‘최씨’ 등이 담론을 연결하는 매개 키워드로 나타났다. CONCOR 분석 결과, 경주 최부자 담론은 역사문화·관광자원, 교육·인문가치, 노블레스 오블리주와 실천 가치, 독립운동·사회공헌의 네 개 의미군으로 구조화되었다. 본 연구는 경주 최부자가 단순한 지역 관광 명소를 넘어 나눔, 청렴, 상생, 사회적 책임, 지역문화 브랜드로 확장되어 인식되고 있음을 실증적으로 보여준다. 나아가 경주 최부자 담론이 한국 사회의 공동체 윤리와 공공성, 실천적 사회책임 담론으로 재해석될 수 있음을 제시한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
