This study explores how complex cultural events form an operational mechanism of local revitalization in the post-urban regeneration phase, focusing on the Baekun Plaza Street Food Zone in Nam-gu, Gwangju. Adopts a qualitative single-case approach, it draws on document analysis, interviews with public officials, merchants, users, and planners, and on-site evening observations. The analysis is organized around three dimensions: linkage and collaboration structure, place experience and place attachment, and night-time economy with place-based revitalization. The findings show that multi-actor collaboration enhanced operational stability, while regular consultative mechanisms and operational manuals supported trust-building and risk sharing. Experiential programming and circulation design contributed to place experience and attachment. Night-time revitalization was understood not as a simple effect of extended hours, but as an integrated outcome of stability, content, accessibility, safety, and place experience.

본 연구는 광주특별시 남구 백운광장 스트리트푸드존을 사례로, 도시재생 이후 단계에서 복합문화행사가 연계협력 구조를 통해 지역활성화에 어떠한 작동기제를 형성하는지를 질적 단일사례 연구로 분석하였다. 연구는 기초 분석 보고서와 행정·정책자료의 문헌분석, 공공부문 관계자·상인·이용자·실무 기획자 면담자료, 저녁 시간대 현장관찰 메모를 종합하고, 연계협력 구조, 장소경험 및 장소애착, 야간경제 및 체류형 활성화의 세 범주를 중심으로 주제분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 다원적 협력 구조는 운영 안정성을 높였고, 정례 협의와 운영 매뉴얼은 리스크 분산과 협력 신뢰 형성의 기반으로 작동하였다. 또한 체험형 콘텐츠와 동선 설계는 장소경험과 장소애착 형성에 기여하였으며, 야간활성화는 시간 연장 자체보다 운영 안정성, 콘텐츠 구조, 접근성, 안전, 장소경험이 결합된 통합 경로로 이해되었다. 본 연구는 도시재생 이후 공공공간 운영의 지속가능성을 해석하는 통합 틀을 제시한다.
