Objectives This study examined the relationship between contact quality with marriage immigrant women and multicultural attitudes and tested the sequential indirect effects of group cohesion and social capital. Methods Participants were 390 Korean adults engaged in sport-for-all activities with marriage immigrant women. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0, AMOS 26.0, and PROCESS Macro 4.2 (Model 6), controlling for gender, age, participation duration, weekly frequency, and program type. Indirect effects were tested using 5,000 bootstrap samples. Results Contact quality was positively associated with group cohesion, social capital, and multicultural attitudes. After controlling for the covariates, the individual indirect effects through group cohesion and social capital and the sequential indirect effect through both mediators were significant. The direct effect also remained significant. Conclusions Higher-quality contact was associated with more positive multicultural attitudes both directly and indirectly through group cohesion and social capital. Sport-for-all programs should promote cooperative interaction, trust, and inclusive participation. Given the cross-sectional design, the findings should be interpreted as statistical associations rather than causal relationships.

본 연구는 생활체육 참여자의 결혼이민여성에 대한 접촉경험의 질과 다문화 태도의 관계를 확인하고, 이 과정에서 집단응집력과 사회적 자본의 순차적 이중매개효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 결혼이민여성과 정기적으로 생활체육 활동에 참여한 경험이 있는 내국인 성인 390명이었다. 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0, AMOS 26.0 및 PROCESS Macro 4.2(Model 6)를 활용하여 분석하였다. 성별, 연령, 운동경력, 주당 참여횟수 및 참여형태를 통제변수로 투입하였으며, 간접효과의 유의성은 5,000회 부트스트래핑의 95% 신뢰구간을 통해 검증하였다. 연구결과, 접촉경험의 질은 집단응집력, 사회적 자본 및 다문화 태도와 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 통제변수를 고려한 상태에서도 접촉경험의 질, 집단응집력 및 사회적 자본은 다문화 태도와 유의한 정적 관련성을 보였다. 또한 집단응집력과 사회적 자본을 각각 경유하는 개별 간접효과와 두 변인을 순차적으로 경유하는 간접효과가 모두 유의하였으며, 접촉경험의 질이 다문화 태도와 관련되는 직접효과도 유의하게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 생활체육에서 이루어지는 질 높은 접촉 과 다문화 태도의 관계가 집단응집력과 사회적 자본을 경유하는 심리·사회적 경로를 통해 부분적으로 설명될 수 있음을 보여준다. 다만 본 연구는 횡단적 자기보고 자료에 기초하였으므로, 확인된 결과는 인과관계가 아닌 이론모형에 부합하는 통계적 관련성과 간접경로로 해석할 필요가 있다.
