This study was designed to examine the changed semantics of Taekwondo using Luhmann social systems theory, which starts from the thesis‘How is the object constituted?’rather than the traditional ontological theory and methodology that asserts‘The object always exists!’This study has significance and purpose in that it not only leads to a change in the perception of Taekwondo but also expands the scope of observation of Taekwondo, which is a subject that changes according to the observation criteria of an abstract system, thereby identifying diversification. results. First, systems observing Taekwondo utilize formalized media according to the system's self-referential observation method to produce semantic horizons in terms of situational aspects, and. Second, the horizon of meaning created through this expands to respective connection points at the social level. Third, the expanded connection points brought about changes in semantics according to the semantic horizon in terms of time.

본 연구는‘대상(이)은 늘 존재한다!’라고 하는 전통적인 존재론의 이론과 방법론이 아닌‘대상(이)은 어떻게 구성되는가?’라는 테제로부터 출발하는 루만의 사회적 체계이론을 사용하여 변화된 태권도 의미론을 살펴보기 위해 설계되었다. 이 같은 연구는 태권도에 대한 인식의 변화를 이끌어 낼 뿐만 아니라 추상적인 체계의 관찰준거에 따라 변화하는 대상인 태권도에 대한 관찰 범위를 넓힘으로서 다양화를 파악 하는 데 그 의의와 목적이 있다. 논의 결과. 첫째, 태권도를 관찰하는 체계들은 체계의 자기준거적 관찰방법에 따라 형식화된 매체를 활용하여 사태적 측면에서(내부-의미-외부) 의미지평을 생산해 내고 둘째, 이를 통해 만들어진 의미지평은 사회적 차원에서(자아-의미-타자) 각각의 연결 지점들로 확장되어 셋째, 확장된 연결지점들은 시간적 측면의(과거-의미-미래) 의미지평에 따라 의미론의 변화를 가져왔다.
