Based on the Korean people's ideology of a chosen people and their religiosity through this, this study aims to examine how this concept has been assimilated and transformed according to the religions introduced into the Korean people. it seeks to understand the characteristics and expansiveness of the interpretation of the Korean people's ideology of a chosen people in light of the religiosity of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification. In the concept of a chosen people manifested in the religiosity of the Korean people, the view of God evolves from a vague concept of ‘Heaven’ or ‘Cheon’(天) into a moral Heaven and the Mandate of Heaven, eventually concretizing into God, Heavenly Parents, and a personal deity. The Korean people are defined as descendants of Heaven, people of Heaven, the chosen people, and children of Heavenly Parents. The spirit of Hongik Ingan (benefiting all humanity) manifests as a culture of sharing affection and love, encompassing human sentiment, compassion, benevolence, love, self-love, sincerity, and filial piety. The national character of the Korean people manifests as a spirit of overcoming and sublimating ‘Han’ (deep-seated sorrow and resentment)-the sorrow of pain and suffering-and as a spirit of resolving and releasing this sorrow through song and dance. The land of the Korean Peninsula is designated as the Pure Land, the Eastern Land of Courtesy, the Second Israel, the Spiritual Supremacy, the Kingdom of Heavenly Parent, and Cheon Il Guk, serving as the central hub for realizing the ideal of the One Family of Humanity. In particular, the ideology of the Korean people as the chosen people, presented through the religiosity of the Family for World Peace and Unification, appears in a form that integrates and fuses existing religiosities to expand them globally. It manifests as serving Heaven as Heavenly Parent, the Korean people becoming the children of Heavenly Parent, concretizing the Kingdom of Heavenly Parent-Cheon Il Guk-on the Korean Peninsula through the True Parents, and expanding this to the world to pursue the ideal of the One Family of Humanity. Specifically, it appears as a form that concretizes the ideal of Cheon Il Guk by embodying the role and mission of Heavenly Mother and the practices that follow through her, through the Only Begotten Daughter, True Mother.

본 연구는 한민족의 선민사상과 종교성을 기초로 하여, 한민족에 유입된 종교에 따라 한민족의 선민사상이 어떻게 습합되고 변용되었는가를 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 통해서 세계평화통일가 정연합의 종교성에 따른 한민족 선민사상에 관한 해석의 특징과 확장성을 이해하고자 한다. 한민족의 종교성에 나타난 선민사상에서 신관(神觀)은 하늘이나 천(天)의 개념에서 도덕적천(天), 천명(天命)으로 나타나며, 하나님, 하늘부모님으로, 인격적 신(神)으로 구체화한다. 한민족은 천손(天孫)으로, 하늘의 백성으로, 선민으로, 하늘부모님의 자녀로 규정한다. 홍익인간(弘益人間)의 정신은 인정(人情), 자비, 인(仁), 사랑, 자애, 심정, 효정으로 정(情)과 사랑을 나누는 문화로 나타난다. 한민족의 민족성은 고통과 아픔의 한(恨)을 극복하고 승화하는 정신으로, 한(恨)을 노래와 춤으로 승화하며 풀어내는 정신으로 나타난다. 한반도의 땅은 불국토, 동방예의지국, 제2 이스라엘, 영적 종주국, 하늘부모님의 나라, 천일국으로, 인류한가족주의 이상을 실현하는 중심지로 세워진다. 특히 세계평화통일가정연합의 종교성을 통해서 제시되는 한민족 선민사상은 기존의 종교성을 통합하고 융합하여 세계로 확장하는 형태로 나타난다. 하늘을 하늘부모님으로 부르고 모시며, 한민족이 하늘부모님의 자녀가 되고, 참부모를 통해서 한반도에서 하늘부모님의 나라, 천일국을 구체적으로 실현하며, 이를 세계로 확장하여 인류한가족 이상을 추구하는 형태로 나타난다. 특히 독생녀 참어머님을 통해서 하늘어머니의 역할과 사명, 그에 따른 실천을 구체화하면서 천일국의 이상을 구체화하는 형태로 나타난다.
